Occurrence Delays of Metastatic Relapses of Breast Cancers Treated at University Hospital of Treichville (Abidjan-Cote d’Ivoire)

Objective: Describe the occurrence delays of metastatic relapses of breast cancer based on the characteristics of the original tumor. Methodology: This is a retrospective and cohort study conducted from January 2000 to December 2015 on patients with metastatic relapse of breast cancer. Results: Out of 178 patients collected, the metastatic relapses were estimated at 49%, occurring in patients with an average age of 53.4 years. The majority of the patients was educated (91.6%) and did not have a high socioeconomic level (88.2%). The initial tumors were mainly at a clinical stage III (47.8%), SBR grade III (47.2%), high index Ki 67 (46.5%), negative RH (79.3%) and HER2 negative (58%). Metastases were unique in general (62.9%), dominated by bone locations (36.6%), with an average age of occurrence of 2.4 years. After the occurrence of these metastases, the cumulative survival rate was 5% at 3 years, and zero to 5 years. Conclusion: Metastatic relapses were common with poor prognosis.

Poverty-stricken areas in China have the dual task of alleviating poverty and safeguarding national ecological *** on statistical surveys and satellite remote sensing data,we construct a staggered difference-in-difference model to empirically analyze the dual impact of poverty alleviation on the economic development and eco-environment of povertystricken *** study also examines viable pathways for economic development in poor areas in the context of ecological *** results show that the poverty eradication campaign under the leadership of the Communist Party of China has significantly improved the rate of economic growth in poverty-stricken areas while also significantly improving the quality of the local *** analysis shows that ecological projects and ecological compensation make the greatest contribution to promoting the conversion of ecological resources into economic output in poverty-stricken ***'s successful experience in green poverty alleviation can not only provide important policy enlightenment for the nation's continuation of its comprehensive revitalization drive in rural areas,but also provide new options for other developing countries to achieve their green take-off.

This study reveals the inconsistencies between the negative externalities of carbon emissions and the recognition condition of accounting ***,the study identifies that heavily polluting enterprises in China have severe off-balance sheet carbon reduction risks before implementing the carbon emission trading system(CETS).Through the staggered difference-in-difference(DID)model and the propen-sity score matching-DID model,the impact of CETS on reducing the risk of stock price crashes is examined using data from China’s A-share heavily polluting listed companies from 2007 to *** results of this study are as follows:(1)CETS can significantly reduce the risk of stock price crashes for heavily polluting companies in the pilot ***,CETS reduces the skewness(negative conditional skewness)and down-to-up volatility of the firm-specific weekly returns by 8.7%and 7.6%,respectively.(2)Heterogeneity analysis further shows that the impacts of CETS on the risk of stock price crashes are more significant for heavily polluting enterprises with the bear market condition,short-sighted management,and intensive air pollution.(3)Mechanism tests show that CETS can reduce analysts’coverage of heavy polluters,reducing the risk of stock price *** study reveals the role of CETS from the stock price crash risk perspective and helps to clarify the relationship between climatic risk and corporate financial risk.

BACKGROUND Vaccines for coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) include Ch Ad Ox1-SARS-COV-2(Astra Zeneca),***2.S(Janssen),m RNA-1273(Moderna),BNT162b2(Pfizer),BBIBP-Cor V(Sinopharm),Corona Vac(Sinovac),and Bharat Biotech BBV152(Covaxin).AIM To find the association between COVID-19 vaccines and myocardial infarction(MI).METHODS This is a systematic review that involved searching databases such as MEDLINE,EMBASE,and Pak Medi Net after making a search strategy using Me SH and Emtree *** criteria were set,and studies having no mention of MI as a complication of COVID-19 vaccination,protocols,genetic studies,and animal studies were *** was extracted using a predesigned extraction table,and 29 studies were selected after screening and applying the eligibility *** The majority of studies mentioned Astra Zeneca(18 studies) followed by Pfizer(14 studies) and Moderna(9 studies) in subjects reporting MI after *** of all the studies,69% reported MI cases after the first COVID-19 vaccination dose and 14% after the second,44% reported ST-segment elevation MI,and 26% reported non-ST-segment elevation *** mortality rate was 29% after *** In conclusion,many studies linked MI to COVID-19 vaccinations,but no definitive association could be found.

Molecular identification of ω-secalin gene expression activity in a wheat 1B/1R translocation cultivar

ω-Secalin was an important factor influencing processing quality of wheat 1BL/1RS translocations. On the basis of four ω-secalin gene sequences cloned from Lankao 906 （a wheat cultivar with 1BL/1RS translocation） with putative transcription activity, a pair of primers with suitable restriction endonucleases added at their 5＂ ends were designed to amplify the mature protein-coding regions of the four genes. After digestion with restriction endonucleases, the amplified products were ligated into the prokaryotic expression vector pET30a（＋）. The prokaryotically expressed recombinant proteins and gliadin isolated from the Lankao 906 seed were analyzed on the same acid polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. All four prokaryotically expressed secalin bands had corresponding seed-expressed gliadin bands. The four corresponding gliadin bands were confirmed to be the expression products of the four ω-secalin genes by liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry （LC-MS/MS）. This conclusion was further confirmed because the four ω-secalin bands could be detected in all 14 wheat 1BL/1 RS translocation cultivars used in the study, although there was some interference for the detection of one ω-secalin band from nearby wheat gliadin bands. The sequence information of ω-secalin genes with expression activity will be helpful for improving the processing quality of wheat with 1BL/1RS translocations by using RNA interference method to silence the expression of the ω-secalin genes.

This work aims at characterizing organic matter produced by an alga Euglena gracil~ and a cyanobacteria Microcystis aeruginosa and assessing the evolution of its characteristics during growth. A culture medium was optimized. The species growth phases were monitored using both visible spectrophotometry and flow cytometry cell counting. Organic matter fractionation according to hydrophobicity and specific UV absorbance （SUVA） index were used to specifically characterize the produced algal organic matter （AOM）. The AOM characteristics were both growth phase and species dependent. However, a similar evolution was observed. The hydrophilic fraction （HPI） was the major fraction whatever the growth phases and was almost the only one produced during lag and exponential phases. It represented around 75% of AOM during exponential phase and then decreased when the stationary phase appeared. It represented 46% and 60% of the AOM during late decline phase for the cyanobacteria and the alga respectively. The hydrophobic （HPO） and transphilic （TPH） fractions started to appear from the beginning of the stationary phase with more hydrophobic compounds coming from intracellular organic material of dying cells. HPO and TPH percentages still increased during the decline phase probably because of two additional processes： photo-dissolution and leaching of particulate organic matter from cells fragments. A comparison of AOM during late decline phase and natural organic matter （NOM） from Glane River （France） underlined that AOM was more fiydrophilic and presented a lower SUVA for each fractions than NOM. However, the difference between NOM and AOM hydrophobicity narrowed during decline phase.

There are many sediment trapping reservoirs in the Hill Loess *** Huangtuwa small catchment is selected as a research field where samples were collected in a sediment deposit profile with a vertical length of 12.73 *** the variation of fine particle content and pollen concentration,54 flood couples were *** the freeze-thawing disturbed texture as the sign of the latest flood couple in a year,it is ascertained that those 54 floods should happen in 31 *** pyramid volume calculation formula,the sediment yields of flood ranged between 716―30376 t·*** average sediment yield was 7106 t·*** annual sediment yields varied between 968―55579 t·(km2·a) -1,and the average value is 12629 t·(km2·a) -*** with the modern annual sediment discharge of the Huaining River,the erosion rate in the Huangtuwa region 450 years ago was similar to the modern erosion *** the period from the 27th year to the 31st year,the average annual sediment yield increased sharply to 31309 t·(km2·a) -*** implied that re-reclamation of the abandoned land in the catchment since the landslide disaster,where vegetation had rehabilitated already,caused very severe soil erosion in the catchment.
