Worldwide, the incidence of birth defects in low-income countries is 6.42%, while in middle-income and high-income countries it is 5.57% and 4.72%, respectively;approximately 303, 000 newborns die from birth defects each year. In China, the incidence of birth defects is about 5.6%, and around 8.14 million people have congenital disabilities, accounting for 9.6% of total disabled people[1]. Birth defect remains a major clinical and public health challenge because of its high fatality rate and protracted and severe sequela.

groundwater is the main water supply source in the Tarim Basin in China. Endemic disease caused by high iodine (I) groundwater in the Tarim Basin was reported previously. Therefore， it is crucial to systematically identify the distribution and genesis of groundwater I. Based on hydrochemical analysis of 717 groundwater samples collected in 2015-2018， spatial distribution and hydrogeochemistry characteristic of high I groundwater in different aquifers were analyzed. Results showed that groundwater I ranged between g/L (mean of 53.71 μg/L). High I groundwater (I > 100.00 μg/L) accounted for 7.25% of the total samples. Horizontally， groundwater I significantly increased from recharge zone (RZ) to transition zone (TZ) and to evaporation zone (EZ). Vertically， groundwater in shallow confined aquifer (SCA) had the greatest I concentration， followed by single-structure phreatic aquifer (SSPA)， phreatic aquifer in confined groundwater area (PACgA)， while groundwater in deep confined aquifer (DCA) generally had low I concentration. groundwater I enrichment in SSPA was mainly affected by organic matter (OM) decomposition and that in SCA was mainly affected by evaporite mineral dissolution， OM decomposition under alkaline environment. While I enrichment in groundwater of PACgA was restrained under neutral environment. Lacustrine sedimentary environment was crucial for I enrichment in groundwater. Besides， fine-grained lithology of aquifer， smooth topographic slope， shallow buried depth of groundwater， weak alkaline and reducing environment， reductive dissolution of iron oxide/hydroxide minerals and OM decomposition were advantageous to I enrichment in groundwater.

The cell adhesive motif RgD tripeptide was synthesized by using a novel chemical method. First, gly-Asp（gD） was synthesized in two steps including the chloroacetylation of free L-aspartic acid and the ammonolysis of the chloroacetylated L-aspartic acid. The yield of chloroacetylated L-aspartic acid was 83.0%. For the ammonolysis of chloroacetylated L-aspartic acid, the yield of the ammonolyzed product was 92. 3%. Second, the coupling between Arg and gly-Asp was carried out by using the NCA method. The maximum yield of RgD was about 50% at 0℃ and pH = 9. 5. The prepared RgD tripeptide was confirmed by using amino acid component analysis and mass spectrographic analysis.

The influence of holding time and distance from sample bottom on segregation and grain refinement of Ti was studied. Results show that Al-STi-IB has an obvious effect on refinement in AI-Si alloy after 4 h holding time. The segregation of Ti shows different morphology at different positions of casting. More segregation is at the bottom of castings because of localized congregation of Ti. The research shows that the difference in Ti concentration is as high as 25.6% between the top and bottom of castings.

This study is aimed to explore the clinical application of the guiding template designed by three-dimensional printing data for the insertion of sacroiliac screws.A retrospective study of 7 cases (from July 2016 to December 2016),in which the guiding template printed by the three-dimensional printing technique was used for the insertion of sacroiliac screws of patients with posterior ring injuries of pelvis,was ***,4 males and 3 females were included in template group,aged from 38to 65years old (mean 50.86±8.90).Of them,5 had sacral fractures (3 with Denis type Ⅰ and 2 with type Ⅱ)and 2 the separation of sacroiliac *** templates were firstly made by the three-dimensional printing technique based on the pre-operative CT data. Surgical operations for the stabilization of pelvic ring by applying the guiding templates were carried out.A group of 8 patients with sacroiliac injuries treated by percutaneous sacroiliac screws were analyzed as a control group *** time of each screw insertion,volume of intra-operative blood loss,and the exposure to X ray were analyzed and the Matta's radiological criteria were used to evaluate the reduction *** Majeed score was used to evaluate postoperative living *** visual analogue scale (VAS)was applied at different time points to judge pain relief of *** the 7 patients in the template group were closely followed up radiographically and clinically for 14 to 20 months,mean (16.57±2.44)*** 9 sacroiliac screws for the S 1 and S2 vertebra were inserted in the 7 *** time length for each screw insertion ranged from 450 to 870 s,mean (690.56±135.68)s,and the number of times of exposure to X ray were 4 to 8,mean (5.78±1.20).The intra-operative blood loss ranged from 45to 120 mL,mean (75±23.32)*** to Matta's radiology criteria,the fracture and dislocation reduction were excellent in 6cases and good in *** pre-operative VAS score ranged from 5.2 to 8.1

Lightweight thin-walled structures with lattice infill are widely desired in satellite for their high stiffness-to-weight ratio and superior buckling strength resulting fromthe sandwich *** structures can be fabricated bymetallic additive manufacturing technique,such as selective laser melting(SLM).However,the maximum dimensions of actual structures are usually in a sub-meter scale,which results in restrictions on their appliance in aerospace and other *** this work,a meter-scale thin-walled structure with lattice infill is designed for the fuel tank supporting component of the satellite by integrating a self-supporting lattice into the thickness optimization of the *** designed structure is fabricated by SLM of AlSi10Mg and cold metal transfer welding ***-static mechanical tests and vibration tests are both conducted to verify the mechanical strength of the designed large-scale lattice thin-walled *** experimental results indicate that themeter-scale thin-walled structure with lattice infill could meet the dimension and lightweight requirements of most spacecrafts.

Objective:To investigate the impact of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease(MASLD)on the efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitor(ICI)-based therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB)-related hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods:A total of 155 patients with CHB-related HCC who received ICI–based therapy(in the Department of Hepatology,Tianjin Second People’s Hospital and Department of Hepatobiliary Oncology,Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute&Hospital)between April 2021 and December 2023 were *** were divided into two groups:MASLD concurrent with CHB[MASLD-CHB](n=38),and CHB(n=117).Results:The median progression-free survival(PFS,6.9 months vs.9.3 months;P=0.001),progressive disease(57.89%vs.37.61%;P=0.028),and disease control rate(42.11%vs.62.39%;P=0.028)in the MASLD-CHB group were significantly worse than the CHB *** median overall survival was not *** percentage of CD4+PD1+(17.56%vs.8.89%;Pgroup were significantly higher than the CHB *** MASLD[hazard ratio(HR)=1.921;95%CI,1.138–3.245;P=0.015]and alpha-fetoprotein levels after 3 months of treatment(HR=2.412;95%CI,1.360–4.279;P=0.003)were independent risk factors for PFS in all ***:ICI-based therapy in patients with CHB-related HCC and concurrent MASLD resulted in poorer efficacy and shorter PFS compared to patients with CHB-related HCC alone.

What is presented in this paper is a method of finite element model updating via designparameters using test modal data. Based on orthogonality relationships, the methodadjusts the design parameters instead of the elements of mass and stiffness ***’s series of the system matrices expanded with respect to design parameters isadopted. The conducted set of linear equations is solved by a singular value decompositiontechnique. Because of the linear relation of system matrices with most design parameters,the method is suitable to the cases of the severe change of the parameters, and theparameters converge to the "true value" by only several iterations. Problems, such as theeffect of errors on the test modal parameters, the expansion of the degree offreedoms(DOFs) of the test mode shapes, etc, are handled. The weighted global fit procedureis used to pre-process the test mode shapes—to smooth the shapes and expand theDOFs of the shapes simultaneously. The method can be applied not only to the finite elementmodel updating, but also to the structural dynamics redesign. Numerical and practicalexamples show the efficiency and accuracy of the method.
