Depression,a prevalent and complex mental health condition,presents a significant global health *** is one of the most frequent mental disorders;deaths from it account for 14.3%of people *** recent years,the integration of complementary and alternative medicine,including traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),has gained attention as a potential avenue for addressing *** comprehensive review critically assesses the efficacy of TCM interventions in alleviating depressive *** in-depth look at different research studies,clinical trials,and meta-analyses is used in this review to look into how TCM practices like herbal formulations,acupuncture,and mindbody practices *** review looks at the quality of the evidence,the rigor of the methods,and any possible flaws in the current *** gives us an idea of where TCM stands right now in terms of treating *** comprehensive review aims to assess the efficacy of TCM interventions in alleviating depressive *** order to learn more about their possible healing effects,the study also looks into how different types of TCM work,such as herbal formulas,acupuncture,and mind-body practices.

Prophylactic effects of Edible Lilium-Egg yolk compound powder on depression-like behaviors in rats exposed to chronic unpredictable mild stress: A role of gut-brain axis

The incidence rate and harmfulness of depression are increasing yearly， and the research on the antidepressant effect of regulating the intestinal microecology balance has attracted widespread attention. The purpose of this research was to study the preventive effects and the regulatory mechanism of edible Lilium-egg yolk compound powder(Chinese abbreviation， BHT) on gut-brain crosstalk in depressive rats induced by chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS) through the "microbiota-gut-brain" axis. Results showed that infusion of BHT for 21 days ameliorated the morphology of the hippocampus and colon， increased the rate of sucrose preference， reduced the immobility time of forced swimming， increased the expression level of anti-inflammatory cytokine Interleukin-10 (IL-10) in serum， up-regulate the expression level of plasma neurotransmitter 5-hydroxy tryptamine (5-HT)， down-regulate the expression of inflammatory factors tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)， interleukin-6 (IL-6)， and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and neurotransmitter glutamic acid (Glu) in serum， and decrease the expression levels of lipopolysaccharide (LPS)， diamine oxidase (DAO) and lactate dehydrogenase (LD) in plasma. The underlying mechanism may be to reduce the activation of microglia (lower levels of CD11b， IBa1 protein and gene expression)， regulate hippocampal GR/BDNF/NPY signal pathway (higher levels of GR， BDNF， NPY protein and gene expression)， enhance intestinal mucosal barrier function (higher levels of ZO-1， Occludin protein and gene expression)， regulate the composition and structure of intestinal flora(Analysis results of LEfSe combined with random forest showed that Prevotella and Paraprevotella might be biomarkers of BHT intervention in depression)， and it is related to the improvement of glutathione metabolism， and other metabolic pathways. Atomically precise metal nanoclusters(MNCs),as a potential type of photoacoustic(PA)contrast agent,are limited in application due to their low PA conversion efficiency(PACE).Here,with hydrophilic Au25SR18(SR=thiolate)as model NCs,we present a result that weakly polar solvent induces aggregation,which effectively enhances PA intensity and *** PA intensity and PACE are highly dependent on the degree of aggregation,while the aggregation-enhanced PA intensity(AEPA)positively correlates to the protected *** an AEPA phenomenon indicates that aggregation actually accelerates the intramolecular motion of Au NCs,and enlarges the proportion of excited state energy dissipated through vibrational *** result conflicts with the restriction of intramolecular motion mechanism of aggregation-induced *** experiments show that the increased energy of AEPA originates from the aggregation inhibiting the intermolecular energy transfer from excited Au NCs to their surrounding medium molecules,including solvent molecule and dissolved oxygen,rather than restricting radiative *** study develops a new strategy for enhancing the PA intensity of Au NCs,and contributes to a deeper understanding of the origin of the PA signal and the excited state energy dissipation processes for MNCs.

A dandelion algorithm(DA) is a recently developed intelligent optimization algorithm for function optimization problems. Many of its parameters need to be set by experience in DA,which might not be appropriate for all optimization problems. A self-adapting and efficient dandelion algorithm is proposed in this work to lower the number of DA's parameters and simplify DA's structure. Only the normal sowing operator is retained;while the other operators are discarded. An adaptive seeding radius strategy is designed for the core dandelion. The results show that the proposed algorithm achieves better performance on the standard test functions with less time consumption than its competitive peers. In addition, the proposed algorithm is applied to feature selection for credit card fraud detection(CCFD), and the results indicate that it can obtain higher classification and detection performance than the-state-of-the-art methods.

Fibre-reinforced polymer(FRP)/rigid polyurethane foam(RPUF)interface is susceptible to moisture intrusion in addition to natural ageing during *** study investigated the influence of moisture intrusion on the FRP/RPUF interface under natural ageing using experiments and molecular dynamics(MD)*** absorption,shear strength,and leakage current tests were used to clarify the changes in the interface *** degradation mechanism of moisture intrusion at the interface under natural ageing was revealed by MD simulation and *** results show that the natural ageing of interfacial materials will slightly reduce the quality of the interface but will reduce the water resistance of the material and promote the process of water intrusion into the *** addition,water mainly invades the interface through *** water penetration,the interfacial bonding strength and insulation performance significantly *** and hydrolysis of interfacial materials are the main reasons for decreased interfacial *** can cause irreversible damage to the interface,increasing interface defects and water *** vicious cycle of material hydrolysis is the ultimate cause of interfacial *** polar molecules produced by this process and the water absorbed by the interface caused the degradation of the interface insulation performance.

Fully polarized Compton scattering in plane waves and its polarization transfer

Fully polarized Compton scattering from a beam of spin-polarized electrons is investigated in plane-wave backgrounds in a broad intensity region from the perturbative to the nonperturbative *** the perturbative regime,polarized linear Compton scattering is considered for investigating polarization transfer from a single laser photon to a scattered photon,and in the high-intensity region,the polarized locally monochromatic approximation and locally constant field approximation are established and are employed to study polarization transfer from an incoming electron to a scattered *** numerical results suggest an appreciable improvement of about 10%in the scattering probability in the intermediate-intensity region if the electron’s longitudinal spin is parallel to the laser *** longitudinal spin of the incoming electron can be transferred to the scattered photon with an efficiency that increases with laser intensity and collisional *** collision between an optical laser with frequency1 eV and a 10 GeV electron,this polarization transfer efficiency can increase from about 20%in the perturbative regime to about 50%in the nonperturbative regime for scattered photons with relatively high energy.
