Coking properties of thermal soluble constituents of coals by N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone solvent

Four types of coals, KL, XB, ZS and GD with different coal ranks, were dissolved with the organic solvent N-methyl-2- pyrrolidone at 350 ℃ and around 3.0 MPa pressure to obtain thermal soluble constituents （TSCs）. The yield, component and maceral group were investigated as well as their coking properties, including caking index and thermoplasticity. The results indicated that the yields of the four coals were of the following order： KL 〉 XB 〉 ZS 〉 GD. Based on the yield and the vitrinite content, coals were ranked from high to low. The ash contents of TSCs were significantly less than that of raw coals, and the TSCs contain more light components, leading to an increase in volatile matter. The patterns of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy indicated that carbonyl was enriched in TSCs. Regarding the maceral group, TSCs were mainly composed of vitrinite which is the main reactive material and converts into binder phase in cokemaking process. Higher caking index values and fluidity were obtained in TSCs compared with the raw coals. The coking experiments with different amounts of TSCs addition were carried out. The results demonstrated that the proper TSCs addition could enhance the coke strength due to its high caking index and good fluidity.

A simple solvothermal method was used to obtain W-Mo bimetallic oxides from W-Mo alloy scrap,and pure metal powders were also used as the raw materials to simulate *** products had a sea urchin-like structure with abundant oxygen vacancies and the products prepared at low temperatures forms a sosoloid resembling orthorhombic W_(0.4)Mo_(0.6)O_(3).The WMo bimetallic oxide prepared at the reaction temperature of 120℃exhibited excellent selective adsorption performance for methylene blue(MB),which the adsorption rate of MB reached 99%in 12 min and the adsorption rate reached 90%after6 adsorption *** the W-Mo molar ratio is 1:3,the maximum adsorption capacity of sample for MB can reach1148 mg·g^(-1).The adsorption process followed the Langmuir and pseudo-second-order models,which is surface-controlled monolayer *** experimental results show the feasibility of preparing W-Mo bimetal oxide products from pure materials and *** process is simple and effective,which offered a potential approach for secondary resource recycling and reusing.

Determining the venting time of a gas trunk pipeline segment provides an important basis for formulating an emergency plan in the advent of unexpected *** the natural gas venting process corresponds to the transient flow,it is necessary to establish a transient hydraulic-thermal simulation model in order to determine the venting *** this paper,based on two kinds of venting scenarios in which there is only one venting point in the venting system of a gas trunk pipeline segment—namely,where the venting point is either at one of the two ends or at the junction of two gas trunk pipeline segments—transient hydraulic-thermal simulation models are *** models consist of gas flow governing equations,the gas state equation,gas physical property equations,initial conditions,and appropriate boundary *** implicit central difference method is used to discretize the gas flow partial differential equations,and the trust-region-dogleg algorithm is used to solve the equations corresponding to each time step,in order to dynamically simulate the whole venting *** judgment condition for the end of the venting process is that the average pressure of gas trunk pipeline segment is less than 0.11 MPa(actual pressure).Comparing the simulation results of the proposed model with those of the OLGA software and real operational data,we find that the venting time error is less than 10%.On this basis,a venting valve opening control principle is proposed,which prevents the venting noise from exceeded the specified noise value(85 d B)in the venting design of domestic gas pipeline *** established calculation model for venting time(dynamic simulation model)for a gas trunk pipeline segment and the proposed opening control principle of venting valve provide reference for the optimal operation of gas pipeline venting systems.

In this study, liquid crystal（LC） was used to study the interactions of alkyl polyglycosides（APG） with gelatin and bovine serum albumin（BSA） at the LC-aqueous interface. The LC easily undergo an orientational transition from a homeotropic to a planar state after proteins were in contact to the LCaqueous interface decorated with APG, thus inducing an optical change from dark to bright. The optical image analysis reveals that the rearrangement rate of APG monolayer is tightly dependent on the concentration and chemical structure of the protein of interest. For example, the rearrangement rate of APG monolayer increases with an increasing gelatin concentration. We also find that the chemical structure of the proteins has a significant impact on the difference in the growth behavior of bright domains in LC.

The controlled preparation of hexagonal tungsten trioxide(h-WO_(3))nanostructures was achieved by adjusting the pH of the precursor *** effect of the pH on the morphology,elemental composition,and photocatalytic performance of the samples was characterized via X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy,and Raman ***-visible(UV-Vis)spectra were used to evaluate the absorbance and the photocatalytic performance of methylene ***(PL),electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,photocurrent response and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)were used to study the optical properties,electrical performance,and specific surface area of the WO_(3)-nanostructures,*** results indicate that the WO_(3) nanorods prepared at pH=1.0 exhibit the highest photocatalytic performance(87.4%in 1 h),whereas the WO_(3) nanoblocks prepared at p H=3.0 show the *** photocatalytic performance of the one dimensional(1 D)-nanorods can be attributed to their high specific surface area and charge transfer *** h-WO_(3) nanostructures were synthesized via a simple method and without a capping *** show an excellent photocatalytic performance,which is promising for their application in environment purification.

BACKGROUND Cancer stem cells(CSCs) have been implicated in tumorigenesis and tumor recurrence and metastasis are key therapeutic targets in cancer *** display therapeutic potential by controlling the properties of CSCs;however, whether an association exists between miR-3682-3p and CSCs is *** To investigate the mechanism by which miR-3682-3p promotes stemness maintenance in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).METHODS MiR-3682-3p expression in HCC cell lines and 34 pairs of normal and HCC specimens was assayed by quantitative polymerase chain reaction. The functional role of miR-3682-3p was investigated in vitro and in vivo. Dual-luciferase reporter and chromatin immunoprecipitation assays were performed for target assessment, and western blotting was utilized to confirm miR-3682-3p/target *** We found that miR-3682-3p plays a key role in HCC pathogenesis by promoting HCC cell stemness. The upregulation of miR-3682-3p enhanced CSC spheroid-forming ability, side population cell fractions, and the expression of CSC factors in HCC cells in vitro and the tumorigenicity of transplanted HCC cells in vivo. Furthermore, silencing miR-3682-3p prolonged the survival of HCC-bearing mice. Mechanistically, we found that miR-3682-3p targets FOXO3 and enables FOXO3/β-catenin interaction, which promotes c-Myc expression through PI3K/AKT;cMyc, in turn, activates miR-3682-3p, forming a positive feedback loop. Intriguingly, miR-3682-3p expression was induced by hepatitis B virus X protein(HBx) and was involved in HBx-induced tumor stemness-related *** Our findings reveal a novel mechanism by which miR-3682-3p promotes stemness in HCC stem cells. silencing miR-3682-3p may represent a novel therapeutic strategy for HCC.

Hydrolysis of olive oil catalyzed by Candida lipolytica lipase was investigated. The relative concentration of the components in the product was determined by using high performance liquid chromatography（HPLC）. Furthermore, a novel rapid method to detect the hydrolytic process of olive oil was developed based on the relationship between the acid value and the relative concentration of the different components.
