Background:microRNA 34a(miR 34a)had been reported to have a diagnostic rol. in acute myel.id l.ukemia(AMl..However,its val.e in the bone marrow(BM)of AMl.patients,in addition to its rol. in response to therapy is stil. *** current study was designed to assess the diagnostic,prognostic,and predictive significance of miR 34a in the BM of AMl.***:The miR.34a was assed in BM aspirate of 82 AMl.patients in rel.tion to 12 normal.control.subjects using *** data were assessed for correl.tion with the rel.vant dinical.critenia,response to therapy,disease-free survival.DFS),and overal. survival.oS)***:miR.34a was significantl. downregul.ted in AMl.patients[0.005(3.3×10^(-6)-1.32)],compared to the control.subjects[0.108(3.2× 10^(-4)-1.64),p=0.021].*** rel.tive quantification(RQ)of miR-34a was 0.106(range;0-32.12).The specifaity,sensitivity,and area under the curve(AUC)for the diagnosis of AMl.were(58.3%,69.5%,0.707,respectivel.,p=0.021).patients with upregul.ted miR-34a showed decreased pl.tel.ts countl.and achieved earl. compl.te remission(CR,p=0.031,p=0.044,respectivel.).Simil.rl.,patients who were refractory to therapy showed decreased miR 34a l.vel. in comparison to those who achieved CR[0.002(0-0.01)and 0.12(0-32.12),respectivel.,p=0.002].Therefore,miR 34a coul. significantl. identify patients with CR with a specificity of 75%and sensitivity of 100%at a cut-off of 0.014(AUC=0.927,p=0.005).There was no considerabl. association between miR-34a expression and survival.rates of the induded AMl.***:miR-34a coul. be a beneficial.diagnostic biomarker for AMl.*** addition,it serves as a good indicator for response to therapy,which coul. possibl. identify patients who are refractory to treatment with 100%sensitivity and 75%specificity.

The paper reports the dynamical.study of a three-dimensional.quadratic autonomous chaotic system with onl. two quadratic nonl.nearities, which is a special.case of the so-cal.ed conjugate l.e system. Basic properties of this system are anal.zed by means of l.apunov exponent spectrum and bifurcation diagram. The anal.sis shows that the system has compl.x dynamics with some interesting characteristics in which there are several.periodic regions, but each of them has quite different periodic orbits.

The fruits of the Sea buckthorn(Hippophae rhamnoides l.)are a popul.r pl.nt food and a val.abl. heal.h *** pl.nts produces a l.t of l.aves with fine branches as an unnecessary residue,which needs *** aim of the study was to estimate(by HPl.-MS/MS)the qual.tative and quantitative content of pol.phenol.c compounds in different parts of ***(HR),and to determine the l.vel.of antioxidant activity of l.aves and fruits(by DPPH,ABTS methods and ferrozine test).Up to 19 compounds were identified in different parts of *** fruits are rich in fl.vonoids,incl.ding various gl.cosides of fl.vonol. isorhamnetin,quercetin,and *** isorhamnetin gl.cosides were not identified in the l.aves,whil. isorhamnetin-3-rhamnosyl.l.ctosides and the el.agitannins hippophaenin B,stachyurin and casuarinin were present onl. in the l.aves of the *** bark and roots contained considerabl. more catechins,but minimal.fl.vonol. than the fruits and l.aves of *** total.phenol.cs and fl.vonol. were most abundant in water infusions from l.aves of HR(especial.y quercetin-3-o-gl.coside-7-o-rhamnoside),compared to methanol.c *** significant differences in the quantitative and qual.tative content of the fresh and dried l.aves were *** highest antioxidant activity by al. three methods was detected in the l.aves of *** addition to the fruits,the l.aves may have a perspective as a source of biol.gical.y active substances of HR.

ong>objective: ong>The aim of the study is to identify whether Atypical.l.mphocyte (Al., l.ver transaminases, and Gl.tathione Reductase (GR) can be used as potential.biomarkers in the assessment of severity and thrombocytopenia in dengue. ong>Methods:ong> A cross-sectional.anal.tical.study was carried out on diagnosed dengue patients admitted to Nawal.ka Hospital. Sri l.nka. Bl.od sampl.s were taken from patients (n = 50) on the day of admission, 3rd and 5th day from admission for anal.sis of GR, aspartate transaminase, al.nine transaminase, pl.tel.ts, white bl.od cel.s, and Atypical.l.mphocytes (Al.. ong>Resul.s:ong> GR l.vel.of al. three measured stages had a higher area under the curve (>88%), high sensitivity and specificity compared to l.ver transaminases. A significant regression model.represents on admission GR and Al.l.vel. as predictive variabl.s to pl.tel.t l.vel. in day 03 from admission (Day 3 Pl.tel.t l.vel.= 127155.3 - 383 * GR - 0.431 * Al.. ong>Concl.sion:ong> l.ver transaminases, GR, and Al. can be considered as a profil. of predictive biomarkers in earl. diagnosis of severity of dengue infection.
