Extract lithium from clay-type lithium ore by mixed acid and its mechanism Author links open overlay panel

A roasting-leaching test was carried out for the efficient utilization of clay-type lithium ore in the central region of Yunnan *** test used the mixed acid of sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid as the leaching *** the conditions of roasting temperature of 600℃,roasting time of 1 h,liquid-solid ratio of 5:1,volume ratio of H_(2)SO_(4)solution to H_(3)PO_(4)solution of 45:5,leaching time of 2 h and leaching temperature of 80℃,the leaching rate of lithium was as high as 97.83%.The leaching mechanism was studied by SEM,pore property analysis,XRD and *** was found that the morphology of the ore changed obviously after roasting and leaching,and a certain degree of collapse and fragmentation occurred,which provided favorable spatial conditions for the leaching of *** porosity,total intrusion volume and total pore area also increased after roasting and leaching,thus promoting the leaching of Li^(+).The results showed that chemical reaction taken placed during the roasting and *** phase of the sample changed from chlorite,kaolinite and diaspore(boehmite)mainly to corundum,hematite,periclase and quartz after ***,after leaching,no new phase was produced in the ore sample,and no S and P elements were found on the surface of the ore sample,indicating that the leaching mechanism of lithium might be the ion exchange between H^(+)and Li^(+).

N-th root slant stack for enhancing weak seismic signals

Seismic imaging of complicated underground structures with severe surface undulation(i.e.,double complex areas)is challenging owing to the difficulty of collecting the very weak reflected *** the weak signal is difficult even with state-of-the-art multi-domain and multidimensional prestack denoising *** paper presents a time–space dip analysis of offset vector tile(OVT)domain data based on theτ-p *** proposed N-th root slant stack method enhances the signal in a three-dimensionalτ-p domain by establishing a zero-offset time-dip seismic attribute trace and calculating the coherence values of a given data sub-volume(i.e.,inline,crossline,time),which are then used to recalculate the *** sorting,the new data provide a solid foundation for obtaining the optimal N value of the N-th root slant stack,which is used to enhance a weak *** proposed method was applied to denoising low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)data from Western *** optimal N value was determined for improving the SNR in deep strata,and the weak seismic signal was *** results showed that the proposed method effectively suppressed noise in low-SNR data.

The motion planning problem for multi-agent systems becomes particularly challenging when humans or human-controlled robots are present in a mixed *** address this challenge,this paper presents an interaction-aware motion planning approach based on game theory in a receding-horizon manner Leveraging the framework provided by dynamic potential games for handling the interactions among agents,this approach formulates the multi-agent motion planning problem as a differential potential game,highlighting the effectiveness of constrained potential games in facilitating interactive motion planning among ***,online learning techniques are incorporated to dynamically learn the unknown preferences and models of humans or human-controlled robots through the analysis of observed *** evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed approach,numerical simulations are conducted,demonstrating its capability to generate interactive trajectories for all agents,including humans and human-controlled agents,operating within the mixed *** simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in handling the complexities of multi-agent motion planning in real-world scenarios.

Transfer learning framework for multi-scale crack type classification with sparse microseismic networks

Rock fracture mechanisms can be inferred from moment tensors(MT)inverted from microseismic ***,MT can only be inverted for events whose waveforms are acquired across a network of *** is limiting for underground mines where the microseismic stations often lack azimuthal ***,there is a need for a method to invert fracture mechanisms using waveforms acquired by a sparse microseismic ***,we present a novel,multi-scale framework to classify whether a rock crack contracts or dilates based on a single *** framework consists of a deep learning model that is initially trained on 2400000+manually labelled field-scale seismic and microseismic waveforms acquired across 692 *** learning is then applied to fine-tune the model on 300000+MT-labelled labscale acoustic emission waveforms from 39 individual experiments instrumented with different sensor layouts,loading,and rock types in *** optimal model achieves over 86%F-score on unseen waveforms at both the lab-and *** model outperforms existing empirical methods in classification of rock fracture mechanisms monitored by a sparse microseismic *** facilitates rapid assessment of,and early warning against,various rock engineering hazard such as induced earthquakes and rock bursts.

Fibre-reinforced polymer(FRP)/rigid polyurethane foam(RPUF)interface is susceptible to moisture intrusion in addition to natural ageing during *** study investigated the influence of moisture intrusion on the FRP/RPUF interface under natural ageing using experiments and molecular dynamics(MD)*** absorption,shear strength,and leakage current tests were used to clarify the changes in the interface *** degradation mechanism of moisture intrusion at the interface under natural ageing was revealed by MD simulation and *** results show that the natural ageing of interfacial materials will slightly reduce the quality of the interface but will reduce the water resistance of the material and promote the process of water intrusion into the *** addition,water mainly invades the interface through *** water penetration,the interfacial bonding strength and insulation performance significantly *** and hydrolysis of interfacial materials are the main reasons for decreased interfacial *** can cause irreversible damage to the interface,increasing interface defects and water *** vicious cycle of material hydrolysis is the ultimate cause of interfacial *** polar molecules produced by this process and the water absorbed by the interface caused the degradation of the interface insulation performance.

POLAR-2 is a gamma-ray burst(GRB)polarimeter that is designed to study the polarization in GRB radiation emissions,aiming to improve our knowledge of related ***-2 is expected to utilize an on-board polarimeter that is sensitive to soft X-rays(2-10 keV),called low-energy polarization *** have developed a new soft X-ray polari-zation detector prototype based on gas microchannel plates(GMCPs)and pixel chips(Topmetal).The GMCPs have bulk resistance,which prevents charging-up effects and ensures gain stability during *** detector is composed of low outgassing materials and is gas-sealed using a laser welding technique,ensuring long-term stability.A modulation factor of 41.28%±0.64% is obtained for a 4.5 keV polarized X-ray beam.A residual modulation of 1.96%±0.58% at 5.9 keV is observed for the entire sensitive area.

Single and combined effects of secondary polyethylene microplastic on the growth of Pak choi and the soil microbiome composition

It has been confirmed that microplastics(MPs)are present in the *** study simulated secondary PE-MPs via aging and mechanical processes to evaluate their effects on Pak choi(Brassica rapa L.)over 21 *** common pollutants,dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane(DDT)and naphthalene,were used in the combined toxicity *** results indicated that the growth of Pak choi was significantly inhibited after exposure to secondary PE-MPs,and the combined effects were antagonistic,owing to the adsorption capacity of secondary PE-MPs to DDT and *** stress in Pak choi can be markedly affected,leading to oxidative damage to plant *** moisture content,soil bulk density,soil density,cation exchange capacity(CEC),and FDA hydrolase in the planted soils increased in the treated groups,and the TOC content changed *** also found that the microbial composition of the soil in the DDT and naphthalene groups showed more significant alterations than that in the other *** diversity analysis showed that species diversity increased in the combined groups but indicated a clear downward trend in the single MPs *** study suggests that secondary PE-MPs harm the growth of Pak choi and can change soil properties,revealing the harm to the ecosystem of MPs in the soil.

An Improved Northern Goshawk Optimization Algorithm for Feature Selection

Feature Selection(FS)is an important data management technique that aims to minimize redundant information in a *** work proposes DENGO,an improved version of the Northern Goshawk Optimization(NGO),to address the FS *** NGO is an efficient swarm-based algorithm that takes its inspiration from the predatory actions of the northern *** order to overcome the disadvantages that NGO is prone to local optimum trap,slow convergence speed and low convergence accuracy,two strategies are introduced in the original NGO to boost the effectiveness of ***,a learning strategy is proposed where search members learn by learning from the information gaps of other members of the population to enhance the algorithm's global search ability while improving the population ***,a hybrid differential strategy is proposed to improve the capability of the algorithm to escape from the trap of the local optimum by perturbing the individuals to improve convergence accuracy and *** prove the effectiveness of the suggested DENGO,it is measured against eleven advanced algorithms on the CEC2015 and CEC2017 benchmark functions,and the obtained results demonstrate that the DENGO has a stronger global exploration capability with higher convergence performance and ***,the proposed DENGO is used for FS,and the 29 benchmark datasets from the UCL database prove that the DENGO-based FS method equipped with higher classification accuracy and stability compared with eight other popular FS methods,and therefore,DENGO is considered to be one of the most prospective FS ***'s code can be obtained at https://***/matlabcentral/fileexchange/158811-project1.
