Improving rollover and stability of the vehicles is the indispensable part of automotive research to prevent vehicle rollover and *** main objective of this work is to develop active control mechanism based on fuzzy logic controller(FLC) and linear quadratic regulator(LQR) for improving vehicle path following,roll and handling performances simultaneously.3-DOF vehicle model including yaw rate,lateral velocity(lateral dynamic) and roll angle(roll dynamic) were *** controller produces optimal moment to increase stability and roll margin of vehicle by receiving the steering angle as an input and vehicle variables as a feedback *** effectiveness of proposed controller and vehicle model were evaluated during fishhook and single lane-change *** results demonstrate that in both cases(FLC and LQR controllers) by reducing roll angle,lateral acceleration and side slip angles remain under 0.6g and 4° during maneuver,which ensures vehicle stability and handling ***,the sensitivity and robustness analysis of developed controller for varying longitudinal speeds were investigated.

Objective:To investigate the cytotoxicity and anti-cancer effects of hydro-alcoholic extract of pistachio pericarp on hepatocellular carcinoma cells(HepG2)and mouse fibroblast L929 cells as normal and control group ***:MTT assay was performed to investigate the cytotoxicity effects of the extract at 0-4 000μg/mL on the cells after 24 and48 *** expressions of some genes involved in apoptosis including Bax,Bcl-2 and P53were investigated by real time ***:Our results showed that after 24 and 48 hours of treatment of cells with this extract,the viability of HepG2 and L929 cells was ***,this extract had the cytotoxicity effect on both *** IC_(50) concentration of extract for HepG2 cells after 24 and 48 hours of treatment was 1 500 and 1 000μg/mL and for L929 cells was 2 000 and 1 500μg/mL,*** expressions of Bax and P53 genes were up-regulated after treatment in the HepG2 and L929 cells and the expression of Bcl-2gene was down-regulated after treatment of extract in HepG2 ***:According to the results of MTT assay and real time PCR,this extract can be considered as a potential candidate for use in the production of anti-cancer drugs for the treatment of patients with liver cancer in future.

Objective: To investigate the effect of crocin carotenoid on BNDF and CREB gene expression in the brain ventral tegmental area(VTA) and the serum level of BDNF in morphine-treated rats compared to control. Methods: In this study, 40 male Wistar rats(200-250 g) were used in 5 experimental groups: 1) non morphine treat rats(control); 2) non morphine-treated rats with 25 mg/kg crocin carotenoid(i.p., for 21 d); 3) morphine treated rats(10 mg/kg twice a day, s.c., 21 d); 4 and 5) morphine-treated rats with 12.5 and 25 mg/kg crocin carotenoid, respectively. By the end of research, BDNF and CREB expression was determined by real-time-PCR method. ELISA analysis was also applied for assessing the serum BDNF level. Results: The data indicated that morphine treatment could cause a significant decrease in BDNF and CREB gene expression(P<0.01 and P<0.001, respectively) in brain VTA as well as serum level of BDNF(P<0.01) in comparison to control group. Treatment with 25 mg/kg crocin carotenoid caused a significant enhancement in BDNF and CREF gene expression(P<0.01 and P<0.05, respectively) and serum level of BDNF(P<0.01) in morphine-treated rats in comparison to morphine-treated group. Conclusions: Regarding to obtained results, crocin carotenoid can inhibit unfavorable effects of morphine on the neural system to some extent through enhancing BDNF and CREB gene expression in brain VTA and serum level of BDNF.

Objective:To investigate anti-dyslipidemic effects of hydroalcoholic fenugreek seed extracts,diosgenin,and 4-OH-Ile on HepG2 cell ***:HepG2 cells were treated with hydroalcoholic fenugreek seed extracts,diosgenin,4-OH-Ile,and ***20 was calculated using the MTT *** cells were then pretreated with IC20 concentrations for 24 and 48 *** time PCR was employed to measure expression of liver X receptor alpha(LXR a),sterol regulatory element-binding protein-1 C(SREBP-1 C),acetyl-CoA carboxylase(ACC),fatty acid synthase(FAS),fibroblast growth factor 21(FGF21),peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma(PPAR γ),and lowdensity lipoprotein receptor(LDLR).Results:The results showed that LXR α(P=0.003,P<0.001).,SREBP-1 C(P<0.001,P<0.001),ACC(P=0.002,P=0.006),and FAS(P<0.001,P<0.001)were downregulated significantly,while FGF21(P<0.001,P<0.001),PPAR γ(P=0.004,P<0.001),and LDLR(P<0.001,P<0.001)were upregulated significantly in HepG2 cells treated with the IC20 of hydroalcoholic fenugreek seed extracts,diosgenin,4-OH-Ile,and orlistat in 24 and 48 h,***:Hydroalcoholic fenugreek seed extracts,diosgenin,and 4-OH-Ile significantly modulate the expression of some important lipid metabolism related genes,which is similar to *** foenum.-graecum seed extract or its derivatives should be further investigated for their dyslipidemia effects and its complications.

In this paper,layered periodic foundations(LPFs)are numerically examined for their responses to longitudinal and transverse modes in the time and frequency *** different unit-cells,i.e.,2-layer,4-layer,and 6-layer unit-cells,comprising concrete/rubber,concrete/rubber/steel/rubber,and concrete/rubber/steel/rubber/lead/rubber materials,respectively,are taken into ***,the viscoelasticity behavior of the rubber is modeled with two factors,i.e.,a frequency-independent(FI)loss factor and a linear frequency-dependent(FD)loss *** the extraction of the complex dispersion curves and the identification of the band gaps(BGs),the simulations of wave transmission in the time and frequency domains are performed using the COMSOL *** parametric studies evaluate the effects of the rubber viscoelasticity models on the dispersion curves and the wave transmission for the longitudinal and transverse *** results show that considering the rubber viscoelasticity enhances the wave attenuation ***,the transverse-mode damping is more sensitive to the viscoelasticity model than its longitudinal *** 6-layer unit-cell LPF exhibits the lowest BG,ranging from 4.8 Hz to 6.5 Hz.

This paper proposes linear and nonlinear filters for a non-Gaussian dynamic system with an unknown nominal covariance of the output *** challenge of designing a suitable filter in the presence of an unknown covariance matrix is addressed by focusing on the output data set of the *** that data generated from a Gaussian distribution exhibit ellipsoidal scattering,we first propose the weighted sum of norms(SON)clustering method that prioritizes nearby points,reduces distant point influence,and lowers computational ***,by introducing the weighted maximum likelihood,we propose a semi-definite program(SDP)to detect outliers and reduce their impacts on each *** these weights paves the way to obtain an appropriate covariance of the output ***,two filtering approaches are presented:a cluster-based robust linear filter using the maximum a posterior(MAP)estimation and a clusterbased robust nonlinear filter assuming that output noise distribution stems from some Gaussian noise resources according to the ellipsoidal *** last,simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed filtering approaches.

Reinforcement Learning-Empowered Graph Convolutional Network Framework for Data Integrity Attack Detection in Cyber-Physical Systems

The massive integration of communication and information technology with the large-scale power grid has enhanced the efficiency, safety, and economical operation of cyber-physical systems. However, the open and diversified communication environment of the smart grid is exposed to cyber-attacks. Data integrity attacks that can bypass conventional security techniques have been considered critical threats to the operation of the grid. Current detection techniques cannot learn the dynamic and heterogeneous characteristics of the smart grid and are unable to deal with non-euclidean data types. To address the issue, we propose a novel Deep-Q-Network scheme empowered with a graph convolutional network (GCN) framework to detect data integrity attacks in cyber-physical systems. The simulation results show that the proposed framework is scalable and achieves higher detection accuracy, unlike other benchmark techniques.

Objective: One of the common misinterpretation be- liefs in some societies (especially eastern communities) is the using of opium can reduce serum glucose and lipids. Opium is a derivative from a plant family called Papaveracea and contains almost 80 types of alkaloids. Drug addiction causes physiological dependency and its withdrawal lead to some disorders. The aim of this study was to determine the effects of opium consumption and its withdrawal on some blood biochemical factors in addicted people. Methods: We enrolled fifty-six opium addicted people according to the especial criteria to this study. Biochemical blood parameter levels such as fasting blood sugar (FBS), urea, Creatinine (Cr), Aspartate transaminase (AST), Alanine transaminase (ALT) and Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) enzymes levels were measured and urine analysis was also performed before and 3 months after withdrawal. Data were analyzed by using SPSS software version 18 and a P < 0.05 was considered as significant. Results: our finding showed that opium withdrawal reduces FBS and increases AST but these changes were not significant. Nevertheless opium withdrawal significantly increased blood urea level (P < 0.0001). We didn’t find any significant difference in Cr, ALP, AST and Urea specific gravity (SG). Conclusion: According to the results of the current study we can concluded that opium increases FBS, which is in contrast to the most previous studies and withdrawal has opposite effects.

Evidence from recent earthquakes has shown destructive consequences of fault-induced permanent ground movement on *** observations have increased the demand for improvements in the design of structures that are dramatically vulnerable to surface fault *** this study a novel connection between the raft and the piles is proposed to mitigate the hazards associated with a normal fault on pile-raft systems by means of 3D finite element(FE)*** embarking on the parametric study,the strain-softening constitutive law used for numerical modeling of the sand has been validated against centrifuge test *** exact location of the fix-head and unconnected pile-raft systems relative to the outcropping fault rupture in the free-field is parametrically investigated,revealing different failure *** performance of the proposed connection for protecting the pile-raft system against normal fault-induced deformations is assessed by comparing the geotechnical and structural responses of both types of *** results indicate that the pocket connection can relatively reduce the cap rotation and horizontal and vertical displacements of the raft in most *** proposed connection decreases the bending moment response of the piles to their bending moment capacity,verging on a fault offset of 0.6 m at bedrock.
