AIM：To investigate quantitative and qualitative optical outcomes of single-step transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy（Trans PRK）in high ***：In a prospective interventional case-series,30 eyes with high myopia（-6.00 to-8.75 D）with（up to-3.00 D）or without astigmatism were enrolled from Bina Eye Hospital,Tehran,Iran. One-step Trans PRK was performed with aberration-free aspherical optimized profile and SCHWIND AMARIS 500 laser. One-year follow-up results for refraction,visual acuities,vector analysis,ocular wavefront（OWF）and corneal wave-front（CWF）higher order aberrations（HOA）,contrast sensitivity（CS）,and postoperative haze were ***：After the surgery,both photopic and mesopic CSs significantly improved（both P〈0.001）. We detected significant induction of OWF coma and trefoil（P〈0.001 for both）HOAs; CWF coma（P=0.002）,spherical（P〈0.001）,and tetrafoil（P=0.003）HOAs in 6 mm analysis diameter; and CWF trefoil（P=0.04）HOA in 4 mm analysis diameter. The range of mean induction observed for various HOAs was0.005-0.11 μm. The 86.7% of eyes reached an uncorrected distance visual acuity of 20/20 or better; 96.7% of eyes were within ±0.5 D of targeted spherical refraction. In vector analysis,mean correction index value was 1.03 and mean index of success was 0.22. By 12mo after the operation,no eye lost any number of corrected distancevisual acuity lines. We detected no corneal haze greater than 1~＋ throughout the ***：Our findings show promising effects of single-step Trans PRK on quality of vision in high myopic eyes. It also improves refraction and visual acuity.

In watersheds that have not sufficient meteorological and hydrometric data for simulating rainfall-runoff events, using geomorphologic and geomorphoclimatic characteristics of watershed is a conventional method for the simulation. A number of rainfall-runoff models utilize these characteristics such as Nash-IUH, Clark-IUH, Geomorphologic Instantaneous Unit Hydrograph(GIUH), Geomorphoclimatic Instantaneous Unit Hydrograph(GcIUH), GIUH-based Nash(GIUH-Nash) and GcIUH-based Clark(GcIUH-Clark). But all these models are not appropriate for mountainous watersheds. Therefore, the objective of this study is to select the best of them for the simulation. The procedure of this study is: a) selecting appropriate rainfall-runoff events for calibration and validation of six hybrid models, b) distinguishing the best model based on different performance criteria(Percentage Error in Volume(PEV); Percentage Error in Peak(PEP); Percentage Error in Time to Peak(PETP); Root Mean Square Error(RMSE) and Nash-Sutcliffe model efficiency coefficient(ENS)), c) Sensitivity analysis for determination of the most effective parameter at each model, d) Uncertainty determination of different parameters in each model and confirmation of the obtained results by application of the performance criteria. For application of this procedure, the Navrood watershed in the north of Iran as a mountainous watershed has been considered. The results showed that the ClarkIUH and GcIUH-Clark are suitable models for simulation of flood hydrographs, while other models cannot simulate flood hydrographs appropriately. The sensitivity analysis shows that the most sensitive parameters are the infiltration constant rate and time of concentration in the Clark-IUH model. Also, the most sensitive parameters include the infiltration constant rate and storage coefficient in the GcIUHClark model. The constrained weighted-non-negative matrix factorization（CW-NMF） hybrid receptor model was applied to study the influence of steelmaking activities on PM_（2.5）（particulate matter with equivalent aerodynamic diameter less than 2.5 μm） composition in Dunkerque,Northern France. Semi-diurnal PM_（2.5）samples were collected using a high volume sampler in winter 2010 and spring 2011 and were analyzed for trace metals, water-soluble ions, and total carbon using inductively coupled plasma – atomic emission spectrometry（ICP-AES）,ICP- mass spectrometry（ICP-MS）, ionic chromatography and micro elemental carbon analyzer. The elemental composition shows that NO_3^-, SO_4^（2-）, NH_4~＋and total carbon are the main PM_（2.5）constituents. Trace metals data were interpreted using concentration roses and both influences of integrated steelworks and electric steel plant were evidenced. The distinction between the two sources is made possible by the use Zn/Fe and Zn/Mn diagnostic ratios. Moreover Rb/Cr, Pb/Cr and Cu/Cd combination ratio are proposed to distinguish the ISW-sintering stack from the ISW-fugitive emissions. The a priori knowledge on the influencing source was introduced in the CW-NMF to guide the calculation. Eleven source profiles with various contributions were identified： 8 are characteristics of coastal urban background site profiles and 3 are related to the steelmaking activities. Between them,secondary nitrates, secondary sulfates and combustion profiles give the highest contributions and account for 93% of the PM_（2.5）concentration. The steelwork facilities contribute in about 2%of the total PM_（2.5）concentration and appear to be the main source of Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn.

Primary and secondary organic aerosols in PM_(2.5)were investigated over a one-year campaign at Zouk Mikael and Fiaa,*** n-alkanes concentrations were quite similar at both sites(26-29 ng/m^(3))and mainly explained by anthropogenic emissions rather than natural *** concentrations of total Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons(PAHs)were nearly three times higher at Zouk Mikael(2.56 ng/m^(3))compared to Fiaa(0.95 ng/m^(3)),especially for indeno[1,2,3-c,d]pyrene linked to the presence of the power plant.A characteristic indeno[1,2,3-c,d]pyrene/(indeno[1,2,3-c,d]pyrene+benzo[g,h,i]perylene)ratio in the range0.8-1.0 was determined for heavy fuel oil combustion from the power *** acids and hopanes were also investigated and were assigned to cooking activities and vehicular emissions *** were identified for the first time in Lebanon with high concentrations at Zouk and Fiaa(106.88 and 97.68 ng/m^(3) respectively).Moreover,the biogenic secondary aerosols revealed higher concentrations in *** total terpene concentration varied between 131 ng/m^(3) at Zouk Mikael in winter to 469 ng/m3 at Fiaa in ***,the concentrations of the dicarboxylic acids especially for adipic and phthalic acids were more influenced by anthropogenic *** analysis of molecular markers and diagnostic ratios indicated that the sites were strongly affected by anthropogenic sources such as waste open burning,diesel private generators,cooking activities,road transport,power plant,and industrial ***,results showed different pattern during winter and summer ***,higher concentrations of biogenic markers were clearly encountered during the summer period.

Studies have shown that acellular nerve xenografts do not require immunosuppression and use of acellular nerve xenografts for repair of peripheral nerve injury is safe and ***,there is currently no widely accepted standard chemical decellularization *** purpose of this study is to investigate the efficiency of bovine-derived nerves decellularized by the modified Hudson’s protocol in the repair of rat sciatic nerve *** the modified Hudson’s protocol,Triton X-200 was replaced by Triton X-100,and DNase and RNase were used to prepare accelular nerve *** efficiency of bovine-derived nerves decellularized by the modified Hudson’s protocol was tested in vitro by hematoxylin&eosin,Alcian blue,Masson’s trichrome,and Luxol fast blue staining,immunohistochemistry,and biochemical *** decellularization approach excluded cells,myelin,and axons of nerve xenografts,without affecting the organization of nerve *** decellularized nerve xenograft was used to bridge a 7 mm-long sciatic nerve defect to evaluate its efficiency in the repair of peripheral nerve *** 8 weeks after transplantation,sciatic function index in rats subjected to transplantation of acellular nerve xenograft was similar to that in rats undergoing transplantation of nerve *** analysis revealed that there were a large amount of regenerated myelinated axons in acellular nerve xenograft;the number of Schwann cells in the acellular nerve xenograft was similar to that in the nerve *** findings suggest that acellular nerve xenografts prepared by the modified Hudson’s protocol can be used for repair of peripheral nerve *** study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee,Research and Technology Chancellor of Guilan University of Medical Sciences,Iran(approval ***.1395.332)on February 11,2017.

Multifractal modeling is a mathematical method for the separation of a high potential mineralized background from a non-mineralized background. The Concentration-Distance to Fault structures(C-DF) fractal model and the distribution of the known iron(Fe) deposits/mines seen in the Esfordi and Behabad 1:100,000 sheets from the Bafq region of central Iran are used to distinguish Fe mineralization based on their distance to magnetic basement structures and surface faults, separately, using airborne geophysical data and field surveys. Application of the C-DF fractal model for the classification of Fe mineralizations in the Esfordi and Behabad areas reveals that the main ones show a correlation with their distance from magnetic basement structures. Accordingly, the distances of Fe mineralizations with grades of Fe higher than 55%(43% < Fe ≤ 60%) are located at a distance of less than 1 km, whereas for surfacial faults with grades of 43% ≤ Fe ≤ 60%, the distances are 3162< DF ≤ 4365 m from the faults. Thus, there is a positive relationship between Fe mineralization and magnetic basement structures. Also, the proximity evidence of Precambrian high-grade Fe mineralization related to magnetic basement structures indicates syn-rifting tectonic events. Finally, this C-DF fractal model can be used for exploration of magmatic and hydrothermal ore deposits.
