The basic high-temperature properties of iron ore play a crucial role in optimizing sintering and ore blending,but the testing process for these properties is complex and has significant lag time,which cannot meet the actual needs of ore blending.A prediction model for the basic high-temperature properties of iron ore fines was thus proposed based on a combination of machine learning algorithms and genetic ***,the prediction accuracy of different machine learning models for the basic high-temperature properties of iron ore fines was ***,a random forest model optimized by genetic algorithms was built,further improving the prediction accuracy of the *** test results show that the random forest model optimized by genetic algorithms has the highest prediction accuracy for the lowest assimilation temperature and liquid phase fluidity of iron ore,with a determination coefficient of 0.903 for the lowest assimilation temperature and 0.927 for the liquid phase fluidity after *** trained model meets the fluctuation requirements of on-site testing and has been successfully applied to actual production on site.

To investigate the feasibility of co-sintering of fluxed iron ore with magnetite concentrates, the mineralogical properties of a novel fluxed iron ore were studied using particle size analysis, microscopic morphology characterization, and X-ray diffraction Rietveld analysis. Following that, the experiments for granulation performance and basic sintering characteristics were designed under seven different fluxed iron ore ratios, and the integrated ranking of different fluxed iron ore ratios was determined using gray relation analysis. Finally, the results of the industrial trails were combined with the feasibility analysis. Test and experimental results show that the fraction of the fluxed iron ore particles larger than 0.5 mm can account for more than 48%, and the particles have two morphologies: spherical-rough and flaky-smooth. Ca elements are found in the form of calcite (CaCO3) and dolomite (CaMg(CO3)2). The average particle size of granules and powder removal rate can be improved from 2.50 to 3.16 mm and 39.60% to 24.20%, respectively, with the increase in the fluxed iron ore ratio. Furthermore, the fluxed iron ore can improve assimilability and liquid fluidity of magnetite concentrates. In terms of overall granulation performance and sintering characteristics, the fluxed iron ore ratios are graded from best to worst as follows: 12%, 15%, 9%, 18%, 21%, 6% and 3%. The industrial trails show that when the fluxed iron ore ratio is increased, the beneficial effect of the superior sintering characteristics of the fluxed iron ore itself is ideally balanced with the negative effect of the lower amount of additional CaO at 12% ratio, and thus, it is feasible to bring the fluxed iron ore into production at a level of roughly 12%.

Remediating soil contaminated with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)presents a significant environmental challenge due to their toxic and carcinogenic *** PAHs remediation methodsdchemical,thermal,and bioremediationdalong with conventional soil-washing agents like surfactants and cyclodextrins face challenges of cost,ecological harm,and *** we show an effective and environmentally friendly calixarene derivative for PAHs removal through soil ***[4]arene tetrasulfonate(TCAS)has a unique molecular structure of a sulfonate group and a sulfur atom,which enhances its solubility and facilitates selective binding with *** forms host-guest complexes with PAHs through p-p stacking,OH-p interactions,hydrogen bonding,van der Waals forces,and electrostatic *** interactions enable partial encapsulation of PAH molecules,aiding their desorption from the soil *** results show that a 0.7%solution of TCAS can extract approximately 50%of PAHs from contaminated soil while preserving soil nutrients and minimizing adverse environmental *** research unveils the pioneering application of TCAS in removing PAHs from contaminated soil,marking a transformative advancement in resource-efficient and sustainable soil remediation strategies.

BACKgROUND Liver condition is a crucial prognostic factor for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),but a convenient and comprehensive method to assess liver condition is *** stiffness(LS)measured by two-dimensional shear wave elastography may help in assessing liver fibrosis and liver *** hepatitis B(CHB)is an important risk factor for HCC progression,but LS was found to be less reliable in assessing liver fibrosis following hepatitis viral *** hypothesize that the status of hepatitis virus infection would affect the accuracy of LS in assessing the liver *** To test the feasibility and impact factors of using LS to assess liver condition in patients with HCC and *** A total of 284 patients were retrospectively recruited and classified into two groups on the basis of serum CHB virus hepatitis B virus(HBV)-DNA levels[HBV-DNA≥100.00 IU/mL as Pos group(n=200)andg group(n=84)].Correlation analyses and receiver operating characteristic analyses were conducted to evaluate the relationship between LS and liver *** A significant correlation was found between LS and most of the parameters considered to have the ability to evaluate liver condition(Pgh score of 5 was higher in the Neg group(9.30 kPa)than the Pos group(7.40 kPa).When ALT levels were elevated(>40 U/L),the correlations between LS and liver condition indices were not significant(P>0.05).CONCLUSION LS was significantly correlated with most liver condition indices in patients with CHB and ***,these correlations varied according to differences in HBV-DNA and transaminase concentrations.

This paper constructs a coupled aero-hydro-elastic-servo simulation framework for a monopile offshore wind turbine(OWT).In this framework,a detailed multi-body dynamics model of the monopile OWT including the gearbox,blades,tower and other components(nacelle,hub,bedplate,etc.)has been explicitly *** effects of pile−soil interaction,controller and operational conditions on the turbine dynamic responses are studied systematically in time domain and frequency *** results show that(1)a comprehensive drivetrain model has the capability to provide a more precise representation of the complex dynamic characteristics exhibited by drivetrain components,which can be used as the basis for further study on the dynamic characteristics of the drivetrain.(2)The pile−soil interaction can influence the wind turbine dynamic responses,particularly under the parked condition.(3)The effect of the pile−soil interaction on tower responses is more significant than that on blade responses.(4)The use of the controller can substantially affect the rotor characteristics,which in turn influences the turbine dynamic responses.(5)The tower and blade displacements under the operational condition are much larger than those under the parked *** model and methodology presented in this study demonstrate potential for examining complex dynamic behaviors of the monopile *** ensure accuracy and precision,it is imperative to construct a detailed model of the wind turbine system,while also taking into account simulation efficiency.

glaciers have retreated and shrunk in High Mountain Asia since the mid-20th century because of global warming,leading to glacier instability and hazardous iceesnow ***,the complex relationship between iceesnow avalanches and factors such as climate and potential triggers are difficult to understand because of the lack of observational ***,we addressed iceesnow avalanches on the Annapurna Ⅱ glacier in Nepal,Central *** constructed an iceesnow avalanche history using long-term multi-source remote sensing images(1988-2021)and mapped the velocity fields of glaciers using cross-correlation analysis on SAR and optical ***,we investigated the impact of climate change and earthquakes on the frequency and size of iceesnow *** results demonstrate that the frequency of iceesnow avalanches has increased from 10 in 1988 to 27 in 2020,but the average area of iceesnow avalanche deposits has decreased by approximately 70%,from 3.4×10^(5) m^(2) in 1988 to 1.2×10^(5) m^(2) in *** evolutionary characteristic of ice avalanches is linked to the impact of glacier retreat(reduction in ice material supply)and increased activity under climate *** glacier movement velocity controls the size of iceesnow avalanches and can be set as an indicator for iceesnow avalanche *** the Annapurna Ⅱ glacier,an iceesnow avalanche occurred when the glacier velocities were greater than 1.5 m d^(-1).These results offer insights into iceesnow avalanche risk assessment and prediction in high-mountain areas,particularly in regions characterised by dense glacier distribution.

Effective fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control method for aeronautics electromechanical actuator is concerned in this *** borrowing the advantages of model-driven and data-driven methods,a fault tolerant nonsingular terminal sliding mode control method based on support vector machine(SVM)is proposed.A SVM is designed to estimate the fault by off-line learning from small sample data with solving convex quadratic programming method and is introduced into a high-gain observer,so as to improve the state estimation and fault detection accuracy when the fault *** state estimation value of the observer is used for state reconfiguration.A novel nonsingular terminal sliding mode surface is designed,and Lyapunov theorem is used to derive a parameter adaptation law and a control *** is guaranteed that the proposed controller can achieve asymptotical stability which is superior to many advanced fault-tolerant *** addition,the parameter estimation also can help to diagnose the system faults because the faults can be reflected by the parameters *** comparative simulation and experimental results illustrate the effectiveness and advancement of the proposed controller compared with several other main-stream controllers.

This paper mainly focuses on the development of a learning-based controller for a class of uncertain mechanical systems modeled by the Euler-Lagrange *** considered system can depict the behavior of a large class of engineering systems,such as vehicular systems,robot manipulators and *** these systems are often characterized by highly nonlinear characteristics,heavy modeling uncertainties and unknown perturbations,therefore,accurate-model-based nonlinear control approaches become *** by the challenge,a reinforcement learning(RL)adaptive control methodology based on the actor-critic framework is investigated to compensate the uncertain mechanical *** approximation inaccuracies caused by RL and the exogenous unknown disturbances are circumvented via a continuous robust integral of the sign of the error(RISE)control *** from a classical RISE control law,a tanh(·)function is utilized instead of a sign(·)function to acquire a more smooth control *** developed controller requires very little prior knowledge of the dynamic model,is robust to unknown dynamics and exogenous disturbances,and can achieve asymptotic output ***,co-simulations through ADAMS and MATLAB/Simulink on a three degrees-of-freedom(3-DOF)manipulator and experiments on a real-time electromechanical servo system are performed to verify the performance of the proposed approach.
