Potential bioactive phytochemicals, antioxidant properties and anticancer pathways of Nymphaea nouchali

Objective:To investigate bioactive phytochemicals and antioxidant activities of Nymphaea nouchali and to explore its anticancer pathways by a network pharmacology ***:Using a spectrophotometer and high-performance liquid chromatography-diode array detector(HPLC-DAD),we quantified bioactive phytochemicals in methanolic extract of Nymphaea nouchali *** extracts were investigated for in vitro antioxidant *** of these bioactive phytochemicals were predicted and anticancer-associated pathways were analyzed by a network pharmacology ***,we identified the predicted genes associated with cancer pathways and the hub genes in the protein-protein interaction network of predicted ***:Quantitative results indicated the total phenolics,total flavonoids,and total proanthocyanidins in the methanolic extract of Nymphaea nouchali ***-DAD analysis showed rutin(39.44 mg),catechin(39.20 mg),myricetin(30.77 mg),ellagic acid(11.05 mg),gallic acid(3.67 mg),vanillic acid(0.75 mg),rosmarinic acid(4.81 mg),p-coumaric acid(3.35 mg),and quercetin(0.90 mg)in 1 g of dry *** extract showed the radical scavenging activities of 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl,2,2’-azinobis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid)and N,*** using network pharmacology,we predicted 130 target genes associated with cancer *** top hub genes(IL6,AKT1,EGFR,JUN,PTGS2,MAPK3,CASP3,and CXCL8)were also identified,which were associated with cancer pathways and interacted with bioactive phytochemicals of the methanolic extract of Nymphaea nouchali ***:Our study provides insights into the mechanism of anticancer activities of the methanolic extract of Nymphaea nouchali tuber.

Ultrafast low-pump fluence all-optical modulation based on graphene-metal hybrid metasurfaces

Graphene is an attractive material for all-optical modulation because of its ultrafast optical response and broad spectral ***,all-optical graphene modulators reported so far require high pump fluence due to the ultrashort photo-carrier lifetime and limited absorption in *** present modulator designs based on graphene-metal hybrid plasmonic metasurfaces with highly enhanced light-graphene interaction in the nanoscale hot spots at pump and probe(signal)*** on this design concept,we have demonstrated high-speed all-optical modulators at near and mid-infrared wavelengths(1.56μm and above 6μm)with significantly reduced pump fluence(1–2 orders of magnitude)and enhanced optical *** near-infrared pump-probe measurement results suggest that the modulators’response times are ultimately determined by graphene’s ultrafast photocarrier relaxation times on the picosecond *** proposed designs hold the promise to address the challenges in the realization of ultrafast all-optical modulators for mid-and far-infrared wavelengths.

A customized nutrition-rich diet plan is of utmost importance for cancer patients to intake healthy and nutritious foods that help them to be strong enough to maintain their body weight and body *** nutrition-rich diet foods will prevent them from the side effects caused before and after treatment thereby minimizing *** work is proposed here to provide them with an effec-tive diet assessment plan using deep learning-based automated medical diet ***,an Enhanced Long-Short Term Memory(E-LSTM)has been proposed in this paper,especially for cancer *** proposed method will be very useful for cancer patients as this would help them predict the foods which can be consumed by them based on the nutrition analysis of food *** classiﬁcation will be performed in E-LSTM by analyzing the two datasets,one with food images and another with cancer patients’*** an in-depth analysis of the major research papers concerning deep learning strategies to iden-tify the foods along with their nutrition composition,this method has been iden-tiﬁed as one of theﬁnest deep learning approaches that are used for classiﬁcation *** work has been identiﬁed as theﬁrst work producing a new layer for feature extraction and providing nutrition suggestions,especially for cancer patients using the LSTM *** accuracy of prediction and classiﬁcation will be improved by the dedicated layer for feature extraction in ***,it is proved that this proposed method outperforms all other existing techniques in terms of F1 Score,Precision,Recall,Classiﬁcation accuracy,Training loss and Validation loss.

Development of Quality Parameters for Yogurt with Strawberry Juice

In this research, we improve the quality parameter of prepared yogurt using different levels (5%, 10%, and 15%) of strawberry juice. We investigated different organoleptic, chemical and microbiological quality characteristics. We found that plain yogurt is clearly better than 15% strawberry juice yogurt while 5% strawberry juice yogurt is almost as like as the plain yogurt. Acceptance of 10% strawberry juice yogurt is between 5% and 15%. We note that the organoleptic characteristics decrease with the addition of strawberry juice level. Analyzed chemical composition showed that strawberry juice incorporation increases the moisture content and acidity from 0% to 15% as strawberry juice contains higher moisture content (90.329%) and acidity (1%) than collected milk which contains 87.15% moisture content and 0.19% acidity. On the other hand, ash and fat content decreases as strawberry juice contains low ash (0.311%) and fat (1.64%) content than collected milk which contains 0.74% ash and 4.36% fat. Thus, nutritional quality decreases with the addition of strawberry juice. After performing the microbiological tests, it was recommended to consume the samples before the 5th day. We also found that various types of microbial (TPC, TCC, TFC) counts decline due to the high acidity of strawberry juice.

Nutritional Composition and Bioactive Compounds of Bael (Aegle marmelos) and Development of Functional Food Products

Aegle marmelos, widely known as bael, belongs to the Rutaceae family. It is one of the most inexpensive and appealing fruits, considered to be an essential source of natural antioxidants and bioactive components. The major purpose of the research study was to investigate the nutritional composition and bioactive constituents of bael pulp, as well as to develop new value-added products that maintain the maximum quantity of nutrients. The developed food products were subjected to evaluate sensory attributes according to a nine-point hedonic scale. It was found that the moisture, protein, fat, crude fiber, and total ash content of bael fruit pulp were 61.20%, 2.48%, 0.47%, 3.04%, and 1.29%, respectively. When compared to the catechin standard, the antioxidant activity of such extract indicated good antioxidant capacity, with an IC50 value of 75.68 μg/ml for methanol extract. Vitamin C content was about 10.21 mg/100g. Besides, total flavonoid and phenolic contents were found as 140 mg of Quercetin Equivalent (QE)/g and 106.65 mg of Gallic Acid Equivalent (GAE)/g, respectively. Results of sensory attributes revealed that there was a significant difference (P ba and bael bar. The overall acceptability of bael murabba (6.7) and bael bar (7.1) is acceptable in quality, but their specific characteristics were found slightly different by the test panelists. These products might be applicable for the treatment of several diseases like atherosclerosis, diabetes, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, peptic ulcer, tumor, and osteoporosis.

Some big cities in Bangladesh have been experiencing a massive and rapid influx of rural people due to the impacts of climate change,and therefore the urban administration encounters enormous *** study aims to investigate the drivers of climate-induced migration and the post-displacement status of the migrants living in the urban slum of Rajshahi *** a semi-structured questionnaire survey,this study conducted interviews with 50 migrants residing in two slums in Rajshahi *** interpretive phenomenological analysis(IPA)approach was implemented to evaluate the survey *** study finds that food insecurity and flood are the two significant climate drivers of *** the non-climate drivers,lack of alternative livelihood is the major *** should be noticed that the climate migrants in many cases do not get the opportunity to improve their living standards;they are usually occupied with low-pay professions like maid,van and rickshaw puller,and scrap *** study also reveals that migrants,especially females and children,need several basic physiological,economic,social,and health *** children have no chance to attend *** to males,females have more opportunities for some support and ***,an inadequate level of change has taken place in the lives of migrants,which raises the concern if migration is ever a way to resolve a problem or the beginning of many other *** research may concentrate on the impact of migration on the dynamics of social capital among slum dwellers.

Anthropogenic disturbances and their impact on vegetation in Western Himalaya,India

The present study assesses anthropogenic disturbances and their impacts on the vegetation in Western Himalaya,India on the basis of various disturbance parameters such as density,Total Basal Cover(TBC) of cut stumps,lopping percentage and grazing *** the basis of canopy cover and frequency of disturbances(%),the studied forests were divided into highly disturbed(HD),moderately disturbed(md) and least disturbed(LD) *** HD forests had the lowest canopy cover,lowest density and lowest TBC and the LD had the highest canopy cover,highest density and highest *** md forests occupied the intermediate position with respect to these *** richness was least in HD forests,highest in one of the md forests while LD forest occupied an intermediate *** percentage of regenerating species was lowest(54%) in HD and highest(72%) in *** density of seedlings and saplings was higher in one of the md forests as compared to HD and *** concluded that the moderate disturbances do not affect the vegetation adversely;however the increased degree of disturbance causes loss in plant diversity;affects regeneration and changes community *** of hydroelectric projects at various places in the study area was found to be one of the most important sources of anthropogenic disturbances in addition to the routine anthropogenic disturbances like grazing,fuelwood collection and fodder *** all proposed dams in the Indian Himalaya are constructed combined with weak national environmental impact assessment and implementation,it will result in a significant loss of ***,various agents of disturbances should be evaluated in cumulative manner and any developmental activities such as hydropower projects,which trigger various natural and anthropogenic disturbances,should be combined with proper cumulative environmental impact assessment and effective implementation to minimise the anticipated loss of vegetation.

Social media provide digitally interactional technologies to facilitate information sharing and exchanging ***,in case of disasters,a massive corpus is placed on platforms such as *** accounts can benefit humanitarian organizations and agencies,but identifying the eyewitness Tweets related to the disaster from millions of Tweets is *** approaches have been developed to address this kind of *** recent state-of-the-art system was based on a manually created dictionary and this approach was further refined by introducing linguistic ***,these approaches suffer from limitations as they are dataset-dependent and not *** this paper,we proposed a method to identify eyewitnesses from *** experiment,we utilized 13 features discovered by the pioneer of this domain and can classify the tweets to determine the *** each feature,a dictionary of words was created with the Word Dictionary Maker algorithm,which is the crucial contribution of this *** algorithm inputs some terms relevant to a specific feature for its initialization and then creates the words ***,keyword matching for each feature in tweets is *** a feature exists in a tweet,it is termed as 1;otherwise,***,for 13 features,we created a file that reflects features in each *** classify the tweets based on features,Naïve Bayes,Random Forest,and Neural Network were *** approach was implemented on different disasters like earthquakes,floods,hurricanes,and Forest *** results were compared with the state-of-the-art linguistic rule-based system with 0.81 F-measure *** the same time,the proposed approach gained a 0.88 value of *** results were comparable as the proposed approach is not ***,it can be used for the identification of eyewitness accounts.

Comparative Study of Structural, Optical and Electrical Properties of SnO<sub>2</sub>Thin Film Growth via CBD, Drop-Cast and Dip-Coating Methods

Tin oxide (SnO2) thin films were deposited on glass substrate by Chemical Bath Deposition (CBD), Drop-Cast and Dip-Coating method. The thin films were post-annealed at 500°C for 2 hours. The structural, optical, and electrical properties of the SnO2 thin films were investigated by using XRD, FTIR, SEM, EDX, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and Electrometer experiment. The XRD patterns of SnO2 thin films deposited on glass substrate by CBD method, Drop-Cast method and Dip-Coating method showed cubic, tetragonal and amorphous structures respectively. The FTIR spectrum exhibited the strong presence of SnO2 with the characteristic vibrational mode of Sn-O-Sn. The SEM analysis was observed that the surface morphology of the thin films toughly depends on the deposition methods of the SnO2 thin films. EDX measurement confirmed that the thin films are the composition of Tin (Sn) and Oxygen (O2). The optical band gap of SnO2 thin films deposited by CBD method, Drop-Cast method and Dip-Coating method is found to be 3.12 eV, 3.14 eV and 3.16 eV respectively. Thin films deposited by Dip-Coating method showed the highest band gap. The electrical results confirmed that the SnO2 thin films are good conductors and pursued Ohm’s Law. These properties of the SnO2 thin films brand are appropriate for application in solar cell assembly, gas sensor devices and transparent electrodes of panel displays.

One of the most difficult jobs in the post-genomic age is identifying a genetic disease from a massive amount of genetic ***,the complicated genetic disease has a very diverse genotype,making it challenging to find genetic *** is a challenging process since it must be completed effectively and *** research article focuses largely on which patients are more likely to have a genetic disorder based on numerous medical *** the patient’s medical history,we used a genetic disease prediction algorithm that predicts if the patient is likely to be diagnosed with a genetic *** predict and categorize the patient with a genetic disease,we utilize several deep and machine learning techniques such as Artificial neural network(ANN),K-nearest neighbors(KNN),and Support vector machine(SVM).To enhance the accuracy of predicting the genetic disease in any patient,a highly efficient approach was utilized to control how the model can be *** predict genetic disease,deep and machine learning approaches are *** most productive tool model provides more precise *** simulation results demonstrate that by using the proposed model with the ANN,we achieve the highest model performance of 85.7%,84.9%,84.3%accuracy of training,testing and validation *** approach will undoubtedly transform genetic disorder prediction and give a real competitive strategy to save patients’lives.
