Failure detection is an essential task in industrial systems for preventing costly downtime and ensuring the seamlessoperation of the system. Current industrial processes are getting smarter with the emergence of Industry 4.0.Specifically, various modernized industrial processes have been equipped with quite a few sensors to collectprocess-based data to find faults arising or prevailing in processes along with monitoring the status of processes.Fault diagnosis of rotating machines serves a main role in the engineering field and industrial production. Dueto the disadvantages of existing fault, diagnosis approaches, which greatly depend on professional experienceand human knowledge, intellectual fault diagnosis based on deep learning (DL) has attracted the researcher’sinterest. DL reaches the desired fault classification and automatic feature learning. Therefore, this article designs a Gradient Optimizer Algorithm with Hybrid Deep Learning-based Failure Detection and Classification (GOAHDLFDC)in the industrial environment. The presented GOAHDL-FDC technique initially applies continuous wavelettransform (CWT) for preprocessing the actual vibrational signals of the rotating machinery. Next, the residualnetwork (ResNet18) model was exploited for the extraction of features from the vibration signals which are thenfed into theHDLmodel for automated fault detection. Finally, theGOA-based hyperparameter tuning is performedtoadjust the parameter valuesof theHDLmodel accurately.The experimental result analysis of the GOAHDL-FD Calgorithm takes place using a series of simulations and the experimentation outcomes highlight the better resultsof the GOAHDL-FDC technique under different aspects.

Digital image forgery (DIF) is a prevalent issue in the modern age, where malicious actors manipulate images for various purposes, including deception and misinformation. Detecting such forgeries is a critical task for maintaining the integrity of digital content. This thesis explores the use of Modified Error Level Analysis (ELA) in combination with a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), as well as, Feedforward Neural Network (FNN) model to detect digital image forgeries. Additionally, incorporation of Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) to this research provided insights into the process of decision-making by the models. The study trains and tests the models on the CASIA2 dataset, emphasizing both authentic and forged images. The CNN model is trained and evaluated, and Explainable AI (SHapley Additive exPlanation— SHAP) is incorporated to explain the model’s predictions. Similarly, the FNN model is trained and evaluated, and XAI (SHAP) is incorporated to explain the model’s predictions. The results obtained from the analysis reveals that the proposed approach using CNN model is most effective in detecting image forgeries and provides valuable explanations for decision interpretability.

Cyber Attack Protection and Control of Microgrids

Recently, the smart grid has been considered as a next-generation power system to modernize the traditional grid to improve its security, connectivity, efficiency and sustainability.Unfortunately, the smart grid is susceptible to malicious cyber attacks, which can create serious technical, economical, social and control problems in power network operations. In contrast to the traditional cyber attack minimization techniques, this paper proposes a recursive systematic convolutional(RSC) code and Kalman filter(KF) based method in the context of smart grids.Specifically, the proposed RSC code is used to add redundancy in the microgrid states, and the log maximum a-posterior is used to recover the state information, which is affected by random noises and cyber attacks. Once the estimated states are obtained by KF algorithm, a semidefinite programming based optimal feedback controller is proposed to regulate the system states, so that the power system can operate properly. Test results show that the proposed approach can accurately mitigate the cyber attacks and properly estimate and control the system states.

In Vitro Antioxidant and Radio Protective Activities of Lycopene from Tomato Extract against Radiation—Induced DNA Aberration

Background: The accumulation of free radicals is linked to a number of diseases. Free radicals can be scavenged by antioxidants and reduce their harmful effects. It is therefore essential to look for naturally occurring antioxidants that come from plants, as synthetic antioxidants are toxic, carcinogenic and problematic for the environment. Lycopene is one of the carotenoids, a pigment that dissolves in fat and has antioxidant properties. Materials and Methods: The antioxidant and free radical scavenging activity were assessed using the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay. The impact of lycopene on bacteria (E. coli) susceptibility to γ-radiation was examined by radio sensitivity assay. The study also examined the induction of strand breaks in plasmid pUC19 DNA and how lycopene extract protected the DNA from γ-radiation in vitro. Results: At varying concentrations, lycopene demonstrated its ability to scavenge free radicals such as 2, 2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH). IC50 for lycopene was determined at 112 μg/mL which was almost partial to IC50 of standard antioxidant L-ascorbic acid. The D10 value 180 Gy of E. coli was found to be >2-fold higher in the extract-containing lycopene sample than in the extract-free controls. The lycopene extracts inhibited the radiation-induced deterioration of the plasmid pUC19 DNA. At an IC50 concentration, lycopene provided the highest level of protection. Conclusion: Lycopene functions as an efficient free radical scavenger and possible natural antioxidant source. For cancer patients and others who frequently expose themselves to radiation, lycopene may be a useful plant-based pharmaceutical product for treating a variety of diseases caused by free radicals.

In this paper,a Kretschmann configuration based surface plasmon resonance(SPR)sensor is numerically designed using graphene-MoS_(2) hybrid structure TiO_(2)-SiO_(2) nano particles for formalin detection.In this design,the observations of SPR angle versus minimum reflectance and SPR frequency(FSPR)versus maximum transmittance(Tmax)are considered.The chitosan is used as probe legend to perform reaction with the formalin(40%formaldehyde)which acts as target legend.In this paper,both graphene and MoS_(2) are used as biomolecular acknowledgment element(BAE)and TiO_(2) as well as SiO_(2) bilayers is used to improve the sensitivity of the sensor.The numerical results show that the variation of FSPR and SPR angles for inappropriate sensing of formalin is quite insignificant which confirms the absence of formalin.On the other hand,these variations for appropriate sensing are considerably significant that confirm the presence of formalin.At the end of this article,the variation of sensitivity of the proposed biosensor is measured in corresponding to the increment of a refractive index with a refractive index step 0.01 refractive index unit(RIU).In inclusion of TiO_(2)-SiO_(2) bilayers with graphene-MoS_(2),a maximum sensitivity of 85.375%is numerically calculated.

This paper provides a simple hybrid design and numerical analysis of the graphene-coated fiber-optic surface plasmon resonance(SPR)biosensor for breast cancer gene-1 early onset(BRCA1)and breast cancer gene-2 early onset(BRCA2)genetic breast cancer detection.Two specific mutations named 916delTT and 6174delT in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 are selected for numerical detection of breast cancer.This sensor is based on the technique of the attenuated total reflection(ATR)method to detect deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)hybridization along with individual point mutations in BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes.We have numerically shown that momentous changes present in the SPR angle(minimum:135%more)and surface resonance frequency(SRF)(minimum:136%more)for probe DNA with various concentrations of target DNA corresponding to a mutation of the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes.The variation of the SPR angle and SRF for mismatched DNA strands is quite negligible,whereas that for complementary DNA strands is considerable,which is essential for proper detection of genetic biomarkers(916delTT and 6174delT)for early breast cancer.At last,the effect of electric field distribution in inserting graphene layer is analyzed incorporating the finite difference time domain(FDTD)technique by using Lumerical FDTD solution commercial software.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first demonstration of such a highly efficient biosensor for detecting BRCA1 and BRCA2 breast cancer.Therefore,the proposed biosensor opens a new window toward the detection of breast cancers.

Feminist literary theory underpins literature from matriarchal perspective revolting against prototype patriarchal ritual i.***.established dogmatism,superstition,close-eyed religious propaganda,language engineering and so forth.It questions the textual politics of dissipating womankind in literature.It shatters long-cherishing outlook of gender inequality,gender politics,power relation,sexual objectification,oppression,patriarchy,stereotyping and so on.In this connection,this theory sees women along with their experiences,thinking,language,position and role playing,cultural conditioning,diction,and above all,matriarchal assertion in literature.Feminist literary criticism has been generated from feminism and the basic aim of the theory is to investigate and trace out how female characters have been positioned in literature compared with male characters in terms of social and biological factors of different ages of the past started from antiquity.Feminist literary theory has also deconstructed texts from two different perspectives i.***.text written by men and text written by women.This paper attempts to evalualte feminist literary criticism as a subtle machinery or paradigm of matriarchy not only in avant-garde but also in old texts of literature.

太阳能是一种可用于有效地产生电能的可再生能源。传统的化石燃料发电导致全球变暖日益恶化,而可再生能源发电是具有生态友好性的。太阳能光伏发电系统的一个重要好处是,其使用的太阳能十分的充足。然而,与其他可再生能源相比,这些太阳能光伏发电系统由于其高成本和低效率仍然面临广泛使用的障碍。太阳能光伏发电的可再生能源降低了其为客户提供持续供电的可靠性。由于太阳光辐射的变化,太阳能光伏发电系统的输出功率波动可能导致电网出现不可预期的运行状况。本文研究重点是分析光伏系统集成对电网的影响。通过精确分析太阳能光伏发电一体化对配电网性能的影响,可以实现这一目标。本论文包含六章。在第一章中,介绍了太阳能光伏发电与配电网络的整合情况以及对现有网络功率流动和节点电压的影响。在第二章中,介绍了这一课题的研究背景。讨论了基于孟加拉国电力系统情况的太阳能发电的重要性。此外,本章还研究了太阳能集成对配电网络的影响。在第三章中,分析了孟加拉国电力部门的现状和未来,孟加拉国可再生能源的潜力以及孟加拉国太阳能发电的前景。在第四章中,基于DIgSILENT PowerFactory软件,设计现有的电力系统和提出的太阳能发电厂。本章以Tetulia 33kV的配电网为研究对象,对没有SPVG的现有网络进行了潮流分析,研究了电压水平,电压分布,线损,无功功率对配电网的影响。在第五章中,对现有网络上有和没有SPVG的两种情况进行短路分析。在集成SPVG后,在不同总线上研究和比较的最大和最小故障级别是无关紧要的。计算短路比以定义适合将SPVG集成在所提出的分布式总线上的影响,并且它表明短路容量能够集成。第六章通过对系统持续潮流的仿真得出了本论文的结论,并讨论了该项目能够通过提供电压支持来改善电力系统运行状况。本论文的研究成果有助于分析太阳能发电厂对配电网一体化的影响,特别是节点电压和短路比。

Comparative Analysis on Antenna Balun and Feeding Techniques of Step Constant Tapered Slot Antenna

This paper represents the performance analysis of the different shapes of antenna balun and feeding techniques for step constant tapered slot antenna. This work also addresses the benefits of antenna balun (circular and rectangular) along with two types of feeding techniques (Microstrip line L-shape and Microstrip line I-shape). The performance of the antenna for each technique is thoroughly investigated using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) Microwave Studio software simulation under the resonant frequency of 5.9 GHz. Results demonstrate that the proposed model is an effective tool for improving antenna performance. Moreover, an extensive comparison has been carried out between the two different shapes, with and without antenna balun and between two feeding techniques focusing on return losses, gain, directivity, and voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR).

Design and Implementation of Step-Constant Tapered Slot Antennas for UWB Application

This paper presents the analytical design and high performance of step-constant tapered slot antenna (STSA) for ultra-wideband application. The return loss, radiation pattern, antenna gain, and level of cross polarization of this antenna are presented and analyzed. Utilizing Rogers (RO3006) substrate having a relative permittivity of 6.15, the proposed antenna provides the ultra-wideband (UWB) from 3.1 GHz to 10.6 GHz. It is observed that the return loss and gain are increased with increasing the step size. It has been observed from the simulation results incorporating CST microwave studio commercial software version 2015, the optimum return loss, directivity and gain are ?43 dB, 10.52 dBi and 10.20 dB, respectively, for 15 step size. Therefore, the newly proposed antenna will be a decent candidate for ultra-wideband application.
