There is growing interest am.ng nutritionists in feeding reduced protein diets to broiler *** nearly a century of research has been conducted providing biochem.cal insights on the im.act of reduced protein diets for broilers,practical lim.tation still *** present review was written to provide insights on further reducing dietary protein in *** construct this review,eighty-nine peer reviewed m.nuscripts in the area of am.no acid nutrition in poultry were ***,nutritional research areas of low protein diets,threonine,glycine,valine,isoleucine,leucine,phenylalanine,histidine,and glutam.ne have been assessed and com.ined in this text,thus providing concepts into reduced protein diets for *** addition,linkages between the cited work and least cost form.tion ingredient and nutrient m.trix considerations are *** conclusion,practical applications in feeding reduced protein diets to broilers are advancing,but m.re work is warranted.

Background:Valine and isoleucine are sim.lar in chem.cal structure and their lim.tation in broiler chicken *** evaluate their lim.tation and interactive effects,m.ltivariate assessm.nt nutrition studies for the branched-chain am.no acids(BCAA)are needed.A three level(−1,0,+1),three-factor Box-Behnken design study was conducted to assess dietary BCAA ratios to lysine of 65,75,and 85 for valine,58,66,and 74 for isoleucine,and 110,130,and 150 for leucine in m.le and fem.le Lohm.n Indian River broilers from.22 to 35 d of ***:Live perform.nce of m.le broilers was not affected by BCAA ***,m.le broilers fed increasing isoleucine had im.roved(P=0.07)carcass yield as leucine and valine were *** broilers had im.roved body weight gain(P=0.05)and feed conversion(P=0.003)when leucine and isoleucine were at their lowest levels,independent of valine,but increasing leucine im.aired live perform.nce and warranted concom.tant increases in isoleucine to restore *** dietary isoleucine and valine in fem.le broilers increased breast m.at yield(P=0.05),but increasing leucine tended to dim.nish the ***:The fem.le Lohm.n Indian River broiler is m.re sensitive to BCAA diet m.nipulation than ***,as dietary leucine is increased in fem.le broilers,dietary isoleucine increases were needed to offset the negative *** increases in dietary valine and isoleucine im.roved breast m.at yield in fem.le broilers,but only when birds were fed the lowest dietary leucine.

Traditional production of industrial and therapeutic proteins by eukaryotic cells typically requires large-scale ferm.ntation *** a result,these system. are not easily portable or reusable for on-dem.nd protein production *** this study,we em.loy Bioproduced Proteins On Dem.nd(Bio-POD),a F127-bisurethane m.thacrylate hydrogel-based technique that im.obilizes engineered Pichia pastoris for preservable,on-dem.nd production and secretion of m.dium.and high-m.lecular weight proteins(in this case,SEAP,α-am.lase,and anti-HER2).The gel sam.les containing encapsulated-yeast dem.nstrated sustained protein production and exhibited productivity im.ediately after lyophilization and *** hydrogel platform.described here is the first hydrogel im.obilization using a *** system.to produce recom.inant proteins of this *** results highlight the potential of this form.lation to establish a cost-effective bioprocessing strategy for on-dem.nd protein production.
