Mixed-dimensional stacked nanocomposite structures for a specific wavelength-selectable ambipolar photoresponse

Mixed-dimensional composite structures using zero-dimensional(0D)quantum dots(QDs)and two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)materials are expected to attract great interest in optoelectronics due to the potential to generate new optical ***,we report on the unique optical characteristics of a devices with mixed dimensional vertically stacked structures based on tungsten diselenide(WSe_(2))/CdSeS QDs monolayer/molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))(2D/0D/2D).Specifically,it exhibits an ambipolar photoresponse characteristic,with a negative photoresponse observed in the 400-600 nm wavelength range and a positive photoresponse appeared at 700 nm *** resulted in the high negative responsivity of up to 52.22 mA·W^(−1)under 400 nm,which is 163 times higher than that of the photodetector without CdSeS *** also demonstrated the negative photoresponse,which could be due to increased carrier collision probability and non-radiative *** modeling and simulation reveal that Auger recombination among the types of non-radiative recombination is the main cause of negative photocurrent ***,we discovered ambipolar photoresponse near a specific wavelength corresponding to the energy of quantum *** study revealed interesting phenomenon in the mixed low-dimensional stacked structure and paved the way to exploit it for the development of innovative photodetection materials as well as for optoelectronic applications.

Dual ion storage hybrid supercapacitors(hsCs)are considered as a promising device to overcome the limited energy density of existing supercapacitors while preserving high power and long ***,the development of high-capacity anion-storing materials,which can be paired with fast charg-ing capacitive electrodes,lags behind cation-storing ***,we demonstrate the surface faradaic Oh-storage mechanism of anion storing perovskite oxide composites and their application in high-performance dual ion *** oxygen vacancy and nanoparticle size of the reduced LaMnO_(3)(r-LaMnO_(3))were controlled,while r-LaMnO_(3) was chemically coupled with ozonated carbon nanotubes(oCNTs)for the improved anion storing capacity and cycle *** taken by in-situ and ex-situ spectroscopic and computational analyses,Oh-ions are inserted into the oxygen vacancies coordi-nating with octahedral Mn with the increase in the oxidation state of Mn during the charging process or vice *** Oh-storing r-LaMnO_(3)/oCNT composite with Na*storing MXene,the as-fabricated aqueous dual ion hSCs achieved the cycle performance of 73.3%over 10,000 cycles,delivering the max-imum energy and power densities of 47.5 w h kg^(-1) and 8 kw kg^(-1),respectively,far exceeding those of previously reported aqueous anion and dual ion storage *** research establishes a foundation for the unique anion storage mechanism of the defect engineered perovskite oxides and the advancement of dual ion hybrid energy storage devices with high energy and power densities.

This paper proposes new delay-dependent synchronization criteria for coupled hopfield neural networks with time-varying delays. By construction of a suitable Lyapunov Krasovskii＇s functional and use of Finsler＇s lemma, novel synchronization criteria for the networks are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs） which can be easily solved by various effective optimization algorithms. Two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Leader-following consensus criteria for multi-agent systems with time-varying delays and switching interconnection topologies

We consider multi-agent systems with time-varying delays and switching interconnection topologies. By con- structing a suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and using the reciprocally convex approach, new delay-dependent consensus criteria for the systems are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）, which can be easily solved by using various effective optimization algorithms. Two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Tip-enhanced nano-spectroscopy and-imaging have significantly advanced our understanding of low-dimensional quantum materials and their interactions with light,providing a rich insight into the underlying physics at their natural length ***,various functionalities of the plasmonic tip expand the capabilities of the nanoscopy,enabling dynamic manipulation of light-matter interactions at the *** this review,we focus on a new paradigm of the nanoscopy,shifting from the conventional role of imaging and spectroscopy to the dynamical control approach of the tip-induced light-matter *** present three different approaches of tip-induced control of light-matter interactions,such as cavity-gap control,pressure control,and near-field polarization ***,we discuss the nanoscale modifications of radiative emissions for various emitters from weak to strong coupling regime,achieved by the precise engineering of the ***,we introduce recent works on light-matter interactions controlled by tip-pressure and near-field polarization,especially tunability of the bandgap,crystal structure,photoluminescence quantum yield,exciton density,and energy transfer in a wide range of quantum *** envision that this comprehensive review not only contributes to a deeper understanding of the physics of nanoscale light-matter interactions but also offers a valuable resource to nanophotonics,plasmonics,and materials science for future technological advancements.

ESR2–hDA6 complex negatively regulates auxin biosynthesis to delay callus initiation in Arabidopsis leaf explants during tissue culture

Plants exhibit an astonishing ability to regulate organ regeneration upon *** of leaf explants promotes the biosynthesis of indole-3-acetic acid(IAA),which is polar-transported to excised regions,where cell fate transition leads to root founder cell specification to induce de novo root *** regeneration capacity of plants has been utilized to develop in vitro tissue culture ***,we report that IAA accumulation near the wounded site of leaf explants is essential for callus formation on 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid(2,4-D)-rich callus-inducing medium(CIM).Notably,a high concentration of 2,4-D does not compensate for the action of IAA because of its limited efflux;rather,it lowers IAA biosynthesis via a negative feedback mechanism at an early stage of in vitro tissue culture,delaying callus *** auxin negative feedback loop in CIM-cultured leaf explants is mediated by an auxin-inducible APETALA2 transcription factor,ENhANCER OF ShOOT REGENERATION 2(ESR2),along with its interacting partner hISTONE DEACETYLASE 6(hDA6).The ESR2–hDA6 complex binds directly to,and removes the h3ac mark from,the YUCCA1(YUC1),YUC7,and YUC9 loci,consequently repressing auxin biosynthesis and inhibiting cell fate transition on 2,4-D-rich *** findings indicate that negative feedback regulation of auxin biosynthesis by ESR2 and hDA6 interferes with proper cell fate transition and callus initiation.

This paper studies the problem of stability for Takagi-Sugeno（T-S） fuzzy systems with time varying *** employing a new augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii function,using the second-order Bessel-Legendre inequality and combining with reciprocally convex approach,some less conservative delay-dependent stability criteria are derived within the framework of linear matrix inequalities（LMIs）.Two numerical examples are proposed to illustrate the effectiveness and the improvement of the proposed method.

The PRR-EC complex and SWR1 chromatin remodeling complex function cooperatively to repress nighttime hypocotyl elongation by modulating PIF4 expression in Arabidopsis

The circadian clock entrained by environmental light-dark cycles enables plants to fine-tune diurnal growth and developmental ***,we show that physical interactions among evening clock components,including PSEUDO-RESPONSE REGULATOR 5(PRR5),TIMING OF CAB EXPRESSION 1(TOC1),and the Evening Complex(EC)component EARLY FLOWERING 3(ELF3),define a diurnal repressive chromatin structure specifically at the PhYTOChROME-INTERACTING FACTOR 4(PIF4)locus in *** three clock components act interdependently as well as independently to repress nighttime hypocotyl elongation,as hypocotyl elongation rate dramatically increased specifically at nighttime in the prr5-1 toc1-21 elf3-1 mutant,concomitantly with a substantial increase in PIF4 *** repression of PIF4 by ELF3,PRR5,and TOC1 is mediated by the SWI2/SNF2-RELATED(SWR1)chromatin remodeling complex,which incorporates histone h2A.Z at thePIF4 locus,facilitating robust epigenetic suppression ofPIF4 during the ***,these findings demonstrate that the PRR-EC-SWR1 complex represses hypocotyl elongation at night through a distinctive chromatin domain covering PIF4 chromatin.

Structural and electrochemical stabilization enabling high-energy P3-type Cr-based layered oxide cathode for K-ion batteries

Layered-type transition metal(TM)oxides are considered as one of the most promising cathodes for K-ion batteries because of the large theoretical gravimetric capacity by low molar ***,they suffer from severe structural change by de/intercalation and diffusion of K^(+)ions with large ionic size,which results in not only much lower reversible capacity than the theoretical capacity but also poor power ***,it is important to enhance the structural stability of the layered-type TM oxides for outstanding electrochemical behaviors under the K-ion battery ***,it is investigated that the substitution of the appropriate Ti^(4+)contents enables a highly enlarged reversible capacity of P3-type KxCrO_(2) using combined studies of first-principles calculation and various *** the pristine P3-type KxCrO_(2) just exhibits the reversible capacity of∼120 mAh g^(−1) in the voltage range of 1.5-4.0 V(vs.K^(+)/K),the∼0.61 mol K^(+)corresponding to∼150 mAh g^(−1) can be reversible de/intercalated at the structure of P3-type K0.71[Cr_(0.75)Ti_(0.25)]O_(2) under the same ***,even at the high current density of 788 mA g^(−1),the specific capacity of P3-type K0.71[Cr_(0.75)Ti_(0.25)]O_(2) is∼120 mAh g^(−1),which is∼81 times larger than that of the pristine P3-type KxCrO_(2).It is believed that this research can provide an effective strategy to improve the electrochemical performances of the cathode materials suffered by severe structural change that occurred during charge/discharge under not only K-ion battery system but also other rechargeable battery systems.

hydrogen is a promising future sustainable fuel candidate with boundless *** into photoelectrochemical(PEC)water splitting based on a lead halide perovskite(LhP)has progressed significantly with the aim of more efficient solar hydrogen ***,we unite a well-known photo-absorbing LhP with cost-effective water-splitting catalysts,and we introduce two types of monolithic LhP-based PEC devices that act as a photocathode and a photoanode for the hydrogen evolution reaction and oxygen evolution reaction,leading to efficient unbiased overall water *** the integration of these two monolithic LhP-based photoelectrodes,an unbiased solar-to-hydrogen conversion efficiency of 10.64%and a photocurrent density of 8.65 mA cm^(−2) are achieved.
