Time-stamped data is fast and constantly growing and it contains significant information thanks to the quick development ofmanagement platforms and systems based on the Internet and cutting-edge information communication *** the time series data including time series prediction has many practical *** new techniques were developed for use with various types of time series data in the prediction *** those,this work suggests a unique strategy to enhance predicting quality on time-series datasets that the timecycle matters by fusing deep learning methods with fuzzy *** order to increase forecasting accuracy on such type of time-series data,this study proposes integrating deep learning approaches with fuzzy ***,it combines the long short-termmemory network with the complex fuzzy set theory to create an innovative complex fuzzy long short-term memory model(CFLSTM).The proposed model adds a meaningful representation of the time cycle element thanks to a complex fuzzy set to advance the deep learning long short-term memory(LSTM)technique to have greater power for processing time series *** on standard common data sets and real-world data sets published in the UCI Machine Learning Repository demonstrated the proposedmodel’s utility compared to other well-known forecasting *** results of the comparisons supported the applicability of our proposed strategy for forecasting time series data.

In this paper,we consider a multi-crane scheduling problem in rail stations because their operations directly influence the throughput of the rail *** particular,the job is not only assigned to cranes but also the job sequencing is implemented for each crane to minimize the makespan of cranes.A dual cycle of cranes is used to minimize the number of working cycles of *** rail crane scheduling problems in this study are based on the movement of *** consider not only the gantry moves,but also the trolley moves as well as the rehandle cases are also included.A mathematical model of multi-crane scheduling is *** traditional and parallel simulated annealing(SA)are adapted to determine the optimal scheduling *** examples are conducted to evaluate the applicability of the proposed *** of the proposed parallel SA is done by comparing it to existing previous *** of numerical computation highlighted that the parallel SA algorithm outperformed the SA and gave better solutions than other considered algorithms.

Effect of sintering temperature on the dielectric,ferroelectric and energy storage properties of SnO_(2)-doped Bi_(0.5)(Na_(0.8)K_(0.2))_(0.5)TiO_(3)lead-free ceramics

Sintered lead-free Bi_(0.5)(Na_(0.8)K_(0.2)T_(0.5)(Ti0:96Sn0:04TO_(3)ceramics(BNKTS)have been fabricated via a solid-state *** effect of sintering temperature on the structural,morphological,dielectric,ferroelectric and energy storage properties of BNKTS ceramics was investigated,and it was found that the electrical properties of the synthesized ceramics increased with the increase in the sintering temperature,and the highest values were achieved at 1100℃.The ceramics sintered at the optimized temperature of 1100℃exhibited the best physical,dielectric,ferroelectric and energy storage properties,namely,high density(the relative density,ρ=5:88 ***^(-3),approximate to 96.7%of the theoretical value),high densification factor(DF=0:93),high dielectric constant(ε_(r)=1215),low dielectric loss(tanδ=0:051),highest dielectric constant(ε_(max)=4335),high remanent polarization(Pr=9:5μ***^(-2),high coercive field(E_(c)=14:3 kV/cm),high energy storage density(0.12 J/cm^(3),and high energy storage efficiency(41.7%at 46.3 kV/cm).

SeVe： automatic tool for verification of security protocols

Security protocols play more and more important roles with wide use in many applications nowadays. Cur- rently, there are many tools for specifying and verifying secu- rity protocols such as Casper/FDR, ProVerif, or AVISPA. In these tools, the intruder＇s ability, which either needs to be specified explicitly or set by default, is not flexible in some circumstances. Moreover, whereas most of the existing tools focus on secrecy and authentication properties, few supports privacy properties like anonymity, receipt freeness, and coer- cion resistance, which are crucial in many applications such as in electronic voting systems or anonymous online transac- tions. In this paper, we introduce a framework for specifying security protocols in the labeled transition system （LTS） se- mantics model, which embeds the knowledge of the par- ticipants and parameterizes the ability of an attacker. Us- ing this model, we give the formal definitions for three types of privacy properties based on trace equivalence and knowledge reasoning. The formal definitions for some other security properties, such as secrecy and authentica- tion, are introduced under this framework, and the veri- fication algorithms are also given. The results of this pa- per are embodied in the implementation of a SeVe mod- ule in a process analysis toolkit （PAT） model checker, which supports specifying, simulating, and verifying se- curity protocols. The experimental results show that a SeVe module is capable of verifying many types of secu- rity protocols and complements the state-of-the-art securityverifiers in several aspects. Moreover, it also proves the abil- ity in building an automatic verifier for security protocols re- lated to privacy type, which are mostly verified by hand now.

JOINT ITERATIVE DECODING FOR SIMPLE-ENCODING SYSTEMATIC IRREGULAR-LDPC-BASED CODED COOPERATION IN NON-IDEAL RELAY CHANNEL

In this paper, a new kind of simple-encoding irregular systematic LDPC codes suitable for one-relay coded cooperation is designed, where the proposed joint iterative decoding is effectively performed in the destination which is in accordance with the corresponding joint Tanner graph characterizing two different component LDPC codes used by the source and relay in ideal and non-ideal relay cooperations. The theoretical analysis and simulations show that the coded cooperation scheme obviously outperforms the coded non-cooperation one under the same code rate and decoding complex. The significant performance improvement can be virtually credited to the additional mutual exchange of the extrinsic information resulted by the LDPC code employed by the source and its counterpart used by the relay in both ideal and non-ideal cooperations.

Assessment of cortical bone fatigue using coded nonlinear ultrasound

Bone fatigue accumulation is a factor leading to bone fracture,which is a progressive process of microdamage deteriorating under long-term and repeated *** the microdamage of the early stage in bone is difficult to be investigated by linear ultrasound,the second harmonic generation method in nonlinear ultrasound technique is employed in this paper,which is proved to be more sensitive to *** solve the deficiency that the second harmonic component is easily submerged by noise in traditional nonlinear measurement,a weighted chirp coded sinusoidal signal was applied as the ultrasonic excitation,while pulse inversion is implemented at the receiving *** effectiveness of this combination to improve the signal-to-noise ratio has been demonstrated by in vitro *** fatigue loading experiments were conducted on the cortical bone plate in vitro for microdamage *** was a significant increase in the slope of the acoustic nonlinearity parameter with the propagation distance(increased by 8%and 24%respectively)when the bone specimen was at a progressive level of *** results indicate that the coded nonlinear ultrasonic method might have the potential in diagnosing bone fatigue.

The Cult of Tian Hou in the Mekong Delta： The Formation and Characteristics

Vietnam is the land of all original and absorbed goddesses in Southeast Asia. Local goddesses such as Lieu Hanh, Ba Chua Kho, Thien Yana Ponagar, Ba Den, Ba Chua Xu or external goddess such as Xi Wangmu （西王母）, Kwan Yin （观音）, Yao Chi Jin Mu （瑶池金母）, Tian Hou （天後）, Mother Dragon Goddess （龙母娘娘）, Jin Hua Goddess （金花夫人） etc. all are worshipped simultaneously throughout the nation. Among those, the cult of Tian Hou has become the most typical external goddess belief which absorbs both the cults of Kwan Yin and Xi Wang Mu, at the certain extend, become a symbol of harmonization. The cult of Tian Hou originated in Fujian, China and was gradually brought into South Vietnam after the footsteps of South Chinese immigrants during 17th-20th century. There are around 50 Tian Hou temples built and owned by the ethnic Hoa （华族/Chinese） and the Vietnamese at the Mekong River Delta. In the Mekong residents＇ mind, Tian Hou is seen as a maritime goddess, a protector, a benevolent Mother Goddess who has been accepted through the channels of Mahayana Buddhism and traditional goddess beliefs in the local communities. This paper is to investigate the current situation of the cult of Tian Hou in the Mekong River Delta to highlight the basic characteristics of this cult in the region.

Amplitude modulation excitation for cancellous bone evaluation using a portable ultrasonic backscatter instrumentation

PDX-1 expression and proliferation of duct epithelial cells after partial pancreatectomy in rats

BACKGROUND: The pancreas has a strong regeneration potential in mammals. Previous studies suggested that pancreas regeneration is correlated with proliferation and differentiation of pancreatic stem cells, but the field of pancreatic stem cells is still in its infancy. This study was undertaken to detect the expression of pancreas/duodenal homeobox-1 (PDX-1) and proliferation of pancreatic duct epithelial cells in remnant pancreas during regeneration after partial pancreatectomy in rats, and characterize the source of pancreatic stem cells. MEthoDS: Partial pancreatectomy (90%) was performed on four- to five-week-old Sprague-Dawley rats, and duct epithelial cells and acinar cells were detected by immunohistochemical staining and scored using the 5-bromo-2-deoxyuridine (BrdU) labelling index at various time points. Western blotting and reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) were used to assess the expression of PDX-1 protein and mRNA, respectively. RESULTS: At 24 hours after partial pancreatectomy, proliferation started in the main, large and small duct cells, and persisted in small duct cells to day 5. The experimental and control groups were significantly different (P<0.001). BrdU-positive acinar cells were greatly increased and reached a peak on day 5. PDX-1 protein was only faintly detectable in pancreatic ductal cells on day I after partial pancreatectomy. On days 2 and 3, a 2-3 fold increase in PDX-1 protein was observed, corresponding to the characteristic 42 kD protein in Western blotting. The operated and sham-operated groups also differed significantly (P<0.05). PDX-1 protein expression on days 5 and 7 after operation did not differ from that of the control group. RT-PCR revealed that PDX-1 mRNA expression did not significantly differ between the operated group and the sham-operated group at various time points. Selection of Design Parameters for Generalized Sphere Decoding Algorithms

Various efficient generalized sphere decoding (GSD) algorithms have been proposed to approach optimal ML performance for underdetermined linear systems, by transforming the original problem into the full-column-rank one so that standard SD can be fully applied. However, their design parameters are heuristically set based on observation or the possibility of an ill-conditioned transformed matrix can affect their searching efficiency. This paper presents a better transformation to alleviate the ill-conditioned structure and provides a systematic approach to select design parameters for various GSD algorithms in order to high efficiency. Simulation results on the searching performance confirm that the proposed techniques can provide significant improvement.
