The treatment of Rutaceae in the Chinese flora chose to follow.Engler in recognizing Rutoideae and Toddalioideae as tw. separate *** and chemical comparisons,how.ver,suggested group-ing those tw. subfamilies in one subfamily,*** move has received support from molecular phyloge-netic analyses,w.ich also show.d that the Chinese taxa in Euodia should be placed in Tetradium and Melicope follow.ng *** into the chemistry and molecular phylogeny of Murraya also indicated that the species in the section Bergera w.thout yuehchukene should be removed from *** findings clearly show.the value of molecular cladistics to the taxonomy of Rutaceae in China and also directions for further inves-tigations.

Recycling and reusing materials from w.ste have become a nexus in the development of sustainable materials,leading to more balanced *** this study,w. developed a composite coating by co-depositing recycled ceramic particles,pulverised fly ash(pFA)and medical ceramics(MC),into a nickel–phosphorus matrix using a typical electroless plating *** electron microscopy(SEM)images indicated w.ll-dispersed particles in the Ni–p ***,compared w.th the MC particles,the pFA particles w.re distributed scantily w.th a low.r content in the matrix,w.ich could be due to the less impingement effect during the co-deposition.A modified microstructure w.th refined grains w.s obtained for the pFA-incorporated composite coating,as seen in the SEM *** X-ray diffraction result of the MC-incorporated composite coating show.d the formation of Nix Siy phases in addition to the typical Ni3 p phases for the heattreated electroless Ni–p *** heat treatment,the pFA-reinforced composite coating,due to a modified microstructure,exhibited a higher microhardness up to HK0.05818,w.ich is comparable to that of the traditional SiC particle-embedded composite coating(HK0.05825).The findings can potentially open up a new.strategy to further advance the green approach for industrial surface engineering.

BACKGROUND Hepatic artery stenosis is a complication of orthotopic liver transplant occurring in 3.1%-7.4%of patients that can result in graft failure and need for *** therapy w.th angioplasty and stenting has been used w.th a high degree of technical success and good clinical outcomes,but tortuous hepatic arteries present a unique challenge for *** stents for this application should be maneuverable and conformable w.ile also exerting adequate radial force to maintain a patent *** SUMMARY Herein w. report our experience w.th a neurovascular w.ngspan stent system in a challenging case of recurrent hepatic artery stenosis and discuss the literature of stenting in tortuous transplant hepatic *** w.ngspan neurovascular stent is self-expanding,has good conformability,and adequate radial resistance and as such it could be added to the armamentarium of interventionalists in the setting of a tortuous and stenotic transplant hepatic artery.

Metallic biomedical implants based on magnesium,zinc and iron alloys have emerged as bioresorbable alternatives to permanent orthopaedic implants over the last tw. *** corrosion rate of biodegradable metals plays a critical role in controlling the compatibility and functionality of the device in *** broader adoption of biodegradable metals in orthopaedic applications depends on developing in vitro methods that accurately predict the biodegradation behaviour in ***,the physiological environment is a highly complex corrosion environment to replicate in the laboratory,making the in vitro-to-in vivo translation of results very ***,the results from in vitro corrosion tests fail to provide a complete schema of the biodegradation behaviour of the metal in *** silico approach based on computer simulations aim to bridge the observed differences betw.en experiments performed in vitro and vivo.A critical review.of the state-of-the-art of computational modelling techniques for predicting the corrosion behaviour of magnesium alloy as a biodegradable metal is presented.

As a tool for management, query, visualization and analysis of spatially referred information, GIS has been recognized as a method to aid the modeling of diffuse pollution and visualize the results in a spatial context. A common question in integrating diffuse pollution models and GIS is to choose a suitable coupling approach, in w.ich the feature of diffuse pollution models should be taken into account. In this paper, w. report on our experience in coupling a distributed diffuse pollution model w.th a GIS. A prototype of fully integrated system is developed in this paper. This system has high flexibility, extendibility and great data management efficiency. Differences in applicability of loose coupling, tight coupling and fully integrated approaches are addressed. It is concluded that the fully integrated approach can avoid tanglesome data exchange and routine execution and more robust than loose and tight coupling approaches and is suitable for distributed diffuse pollution modes.

Clinical significance of main pancreatic duct dilation on computed tomography: Single and double duct dilation

AIM: To study the patients w.th main pancreatic duct dilation on computed tomography (CT) and thereby to provide the predictive criteria to identify patients at high risk of significant diseases, such as pancreatic cancer, and to avoid unnecessary w.rk up for patients at low.risk of such diseases. METHODS: patients w.th dilation of the main pancreatic duct on CT at Emory University Hospital in 2002 w.re identified by computer search. Clinical course and ultimate diagnosis w.re obtained in all the identified patients by abstraction of their computer database records. RESULTS: Seventy-seven patients w.re identified in this study. Chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer w.re the most common causes of the main pancreatic duct dilation on CT. Although the majority of patients w.th isolated dilation of the main pancreatic duct (single duct dilation) had chronic pancreatitis, one-third of patients w.th single duct dilation but w.thout chronic pancreatitis had pancreatic malignancies, w.ereas most of patients w.th concomitant biliary duct dilation (double duct dilation) had pancreatic cancer. CONCLUSION: patients w.th pancreatic double duct dilation need extensive w.rk up and careful follow.p since a majority of these patients are ultimately diagnosed w.th pancreatic cancer. patients w.th single duct dilation, especially such patients w.thout any evidence of chronic pancreatitis, also need careful follow.up since the possibility of pancreatic malignancy, including adenocarcinoma and intraductal papillary mucinous tumors, is still high.

Monckton of Brenchley et al.(Sci Bull60:122–135, 2015)(hereafter called M15) use a simple energy balance model to estimate climate response. They select parameters for this model based on semantic arguments, leading to different results from those obtained in physics-based studies. M15 did not validate their model against observations, but instead created synthetic test data based on subjective assumptions. w. show.that M15 systematically underestimate w.rming: since 1990, most years w.re w.rmer than their modelled upper limit. During 2000–2010, RMS error and bias are approximately 150 % and 350 % larger than for the CMIp5 median, using either the Berkeley Earth or Cow.an and w.y surface temperature data. w. show.that this poor performance can be explained by a logical flaw.in theparameter selection and that selected parameters contradict observational estimates. M15 also conclude that climate has a near-instantaneous response to forcing, implying no net energy imbalance for the Earth. This contributes to their low.estimates of future w.rming and is falsified by Argo float measurements that show.continued ocean heating and therefore a sustained energy imbalance. M15's estimates of climate response and future global w.rming are not consistent w.th measurements and so cannot be considered credible.
