Fruit growth and development consist of a continuous succession of physical,biochemical,and physiological changes driven by a genetic program that dynamically responds to environmental *** recognizable stages over the whole fruit lifetime represents a fundamental requirement for research and fruit crop *** is especially relevant in perennial crops like grapevine(Vitis vinifera L.)to scale the development of its fruit across genotypes and growing *** this work,molecular-based information from several grape berry transcriptomic datasets was exploited to build a molecular phenology scale(MPhS)and to map the ontogenic development of the *** proposed statistical pipeline consisted of an unsupervised learning procedure yielding an innovative combination of semiparametric,smoothing,and dimensionality reduction *** transcriptomic distance between fruit samples was precisely quantified by means of the MPhS that also enabled to highlight the complex dynamics of the transcriptional program over berry development through the calculation of the rate of variation of MPhS stages by *** MPhS allowed the alignment of time-series fruit samples proving to be a complementary method for mapping the progression of grape berry development with higher detail compared to classic time-or phenotype-based approaches.

We present temperature and power dependent photoluminescence measurements on CdSe nanowires synthesized via vapor-phase with and without the use of a metal catalyst. Nanowires produced without a catalyst can be optimized to yield higher quantum efficiency, and narrower and spatially uniform emission, when compared to the catalyst-assisted ones. Emission at energies lower than the band-edge is also found in both cases. By combining spatially-resolved photoluminescence and electron microscopy on the same nanowires, we show that catalyst-free nanowires exhibit a low-energy peak with sharp phonon replica, whereas for catalyst-assisted nanowires low-energy emission is linked to the presence of nanostructures with extended morphological defects.

在美国,一个流行的社会话题是"玩对儿童的学习很重要",并且父母的参与能够最大化地激发亲子游戏的学习潜能。过去的研究已指出持有这种观点的父母更有可能和他们的孩子一起玩耍。本研究调查了在欧裔美国父母和拉美裔美国父母中这种观点的流行程度,旨在阐明这种观点能在多大程度上对亲子游戏产生独特而又一致的激励作用。在儿童博物馆通过访谈法和自然观察法,本研究评估了父母的参与模式。结果表明不同的种族群体在亲子游戏中表现出差异性,且这种差异性与父母对亲子游戏的看法保持高度一致。群体分析也表明亲子游戏行为和观点一起组成父母与孩子的游戏模式,而这种亲子游戏模式有着多样化的特点,能够集中反映社会性、文化动态性和个人主体性等问题。当很多拥护者强调亲子游戏带来促进发展的结果时,我们应认识到其他游戏模式的积极性及其对发展价值之外其他价值的优化,如通过共同玩乐加强亲子关系或者通过同伴互动学习等。

BACKGROUND Perivascular epithelioid cell tumor(PEComa) is a rare mesenchymal neoplasm that can arise in many different organs with a broad spectrum of biological behavior, from indolent to aggressive progression. Only ten cases of gastric PEComas have been reported in the English literature, which were treated with endoscopic, laparoscopic, or open resections. Due to its rarity, the optimal surgical management and prognosis of this tumor are still *** SUMMARY We present a case of robotic wedge resection of a 6.5 cm bleeding lesion of the gastric fundus located 3 cm below the esophago-gastric junction in a 55-year-old man. Biopsy revealed a malignant tumor with epithelioid cells focally positive for muscle markers desmin and smooth muscle actin. In addition, histology revealed that the tumor was positive for HMB-45, melan-A(MART-1), microphthalmia transcription factor and negative for pan-cytokeratin AE1/AE3, CD34, p40, DOG-1, CD117(c-kit), S100, CD3, CD79 a, caldesmon and myogenin. These markers suggested the possibility of a PEComa. The patient underwent a diagnostic laparoscopy via the da Vinci? Si? system and robotic wedge resection. Final pathology confirmed a malignant gastric PEComa with negative margins. At his 11-mo follow-up visit, the patient remained *** Gastric PEComa can be treated with a robotic R0 resection with acceptable postoperative and short-term oncological outcomes.
