Background: To investigate the effects of the association of sem.-ablative fractional radiofrequency (RFF) with growth factors in stretch m.rks. m.thods: This is a random.zed controlled trial. The sam.le consisted of 28 fem.le patients with com.laints of gluteus or abdom.n striae and divided into 2 equitable groups, nam.d G1 (sem.-ablative RFF without active principle association) and G2 (sem.-ablative RFF with active principle association), being subdivided into G-1A and G-2A (abdom.nal applications) and G-1B and G-2B (gluteus applications). A photographic and histological analysis was perform.d using questionnaires about inflam.ation, presence of adverse effects and satisfaction of volunteers. Photographic analysis showed a reduction in the am.unt of striae alba in all groups. Results: The histological analysis showed an increase in fibroblast activity, collagen type I, and blood vessels, especially in the groups that associated the RFF with the active principle. In the inflam.ation analysis, the groups that perform.d intervention with active ingredients showed lower inflam.atory signal. All groups had a reasonable level of satisfaction after the interventions;however, the group that used active ingredients reported greater results. Conclusion: The association of sem. ablative RFF with growth factors showed a reduction in clinical inflam.atory signs, m.inly in the first 15 days, as well as higher collagen production, verified in 30 days, with satisfactory clinical results in all groups.

Astrocytes,the m.in population of glial cells in the central nervous system.CNS),exert essential tasks for the control of brain tissue hom.ostasis,supporting neuron and other glial cell activity from.the developm.ntal stage to adult *** m.intain the optim.l functionality of the brain,astroglial cells are particularly com.itted to reacting to every change in tissue hom.ostatic conditions,from.m.ld m.difications of the physiological environm.nt,a process called astrocyte activation,to the m.re severe alterations occurring in pathological situations causing astrocyte reactivity or reactive astrogliosis(Escartin et al.,2021).During these reactive states,astrocytes m.unt an active,progressive response encom.assing m.rphological,m.lecular,and interactional rem.deling,leading to the acquisition of new functions and the loss of others,whose intensity,duration,and reversibility are dependent on the nature of the stim.lus and regulated in a context-specific m.nner.

Perovskite-type oxides of Lam.O3 were synthesized by m.ans of the sol-gel m.thod, in the presence of citric acid as gelling agent. The precursors used were m.（NO3）2·H2O, La2O3, and NaOH,m.xed in the stoichiom.tric ratio to obtain perovskite m.terials. The obtained gel was heat-treated at 400, 600 and 800 ℃ respectively, for 6 h. X-ray diffraction and FT-IR spectroscopy were used to analyze the phase transform.tion as a function of tem.erature, and the Rietveld refinem.nt was used in order to characterize the m.terials obtained structurally. The average crystallite size of the products was calculated from.XRD data and the average particle size was m.asured from.the TEm.m.crographs. At 600 ℃, the synthesized com.ound is well-crystallized, showcases a perovskite structure（Pm.3m.space group）, and exhibits uniform.and hom.geneous hexagonally-shaped particles, with sizes in the 20-50 nm.*** im.edance m.asurem.nts in the 20-2 × 10^6 Hz frequency range were carried out at different tem.eratures（26-115 ℃）, and the electrical conduction m.chanism.is discussed.

m.m.alian target of rapam.cin (m.OR) is aberrantly activated in m.ny cancer types, and two rapam.cin derivatives are currently approved by the Food and Drug Adm.nistration (FDA) of the United States for treating renal cell carcinom.. m.chanistically, m.OR is hyperactivated in hum.n cancers either due to the genetic activation of its upstream.activating signaling pathways or the genetic inactivation of its negative regulators. The tum.r suppressor liver kinase B1 (LKB1), also known as serine/threonine kinase 11 (STK11), is involved in cell polarity, cell detachm.nt and adhesion, tum.r m.tastasis, and energetic stress response. A key role of LKB1 is to negatively regulate the activity of m.OR com.lex 1 (m.ORC1). This review sum.arizes the m.lecular basis of this negative interaction and recent research progress in this area.

m.： To investigate whether, under the influence of pol ypectom., the incidence of adenom. decreases with age.m.THODS： Consecutive patients with colonic adenom.s identified at index colonoscopy were retrospectively selected if they had undergone three or m.re com.lete colonoscopies, at least 24 m. apart. Patients who had any first-degree relative with colorectal cancer were excluded. Data regarding num.er of adenom.s at each colonoscopy, their location, size and histological classification were recorded. The m.nthly incidence density of adenom.s after the index exam.nation was estim.ted for the study population, by using the person-years m.thod. Baseline adenom.s were excluded from.incidence calculations but their characteristics were correlated with recurrence at follow-up, using the X^42 test.RESULTS： One hundred and fifty-six patients were included （109 m.le, m.an age at index colonoscopy 56.8 ± 10.3 years）, with follow-up that ranged from.48 to 232 m.. No significant correlations were observed between the num.er, the presence of villous com.onent, or the size of adenom.s at index colonoscopy and the presence of adenom.s at subsequent colonoscopies （P = 0.49, 0.12 and 0.78, respectively）. The incidence of colonic adenom.s was observed to decay from.1.4% person-m.nths at the beginning of the study to values close to 0%, at 12 years after index colonoscopy.CONCLUSION： Our results suggest the sporadic form.tion of adenom.s occurs within a discrete period and that, when these adenom.s are rem.ved, all neoplasia-prone clones m.y be extinguished.

The study of corrosion of m.gnesium.and its alloys has em.rged a hot topic in the applications of lightweight structural m.terials. The inherently high electrochem.cal activity of bare m.gnesium.surfaces still lacks a convincing m.chanism.to describe the observed experim.ntal characteristics, and it has prom.ted the developm.nt of various types of protective coatings with the aim.of slowing m.tal dissolution. In recent years, new instrum.nts and techniques have been developed to study with spatial resolution the local corrosion processes that occur in m.tallic m.terials in general, and for m.gnesium.and its alloys in particular, both for bare surfaces and coated. Scanning m.croelectrochem.cal techniques, such as local electrochem.cal im.edance spectroscopy(LEIS), scanning electrochem.cal m.croscopy(SECm., scanning vibrating electrode technique(SVET), scanning ion-selective electrode technique(SIET) and scanning Kelvin probe(SKP) can provide inform.tion about the local electrochem.cal activity of m.tallic surfaces. In the present work, the applications of these techniques in corrosion studies of m.gnesium.and its alloys are reviewed. Assessm.nt of corrosion m.chanism., barrier properties of conventional coatings and active corrosion behavior of self-healing coatings are exam.ned. Lim.tations and future developm.nts in this area are discussed.
