Epithelial-mesenc.ymal transition (EMT) is def.ned as switc.ing of.polarized epithelial c.lls to a migratory f.broblastoid phenotype. EMT is known to be involved in the progression and metastasis of.various c.nc.rs in humans, but this spec.f.c.proc.ss is still little explored in the veterinary literature. The aim of.this researc. was to evaluate the expression of.EMT-related proteins in c.nine mammary c.rc.nomas (c.c.). The expression of.six EMT-related proteins in 94 c.c. of.f.male dogs was evaluated by immunohistoc.emistry using a tissue array method. Additionally, c.inic.pathologic.l c.arac.eristic. were c.mpared with the expression of.EMT-related proteins. Loss of.epithelial protein and/or ac.uisition of.the expression of.mesenc.ymal proteins were observed in c.c.. Loss of.epithelial protein and/or ac.uisition of.the expression of.mesenc.ymal proteins were observed, partic.larly in tumors with evidenc. of.stromal invasion;however, signif.c.nc. was only observed between the S100A4 and vasc.lar invasion. In addition, Snai-1 nuc.ear immunoexpression was signif.c.ntly related to E-c.dherin loss. In c.nc.usion, loss of.epithelial proteins and/or the ac.uisition of.mesenc.ymal proteins are assoc.ated with EMT and may have an important role in the evaluation of.c.c.patients. The unique immunoexpression pattern of.Snai-1 c.uld help to distinguish between an adenoma and a non-metastatic.c.rc.noma and seems to be related to c.nversion of.myoepithelial c.lls to a c.mplete mesenc.ymal-like phenotype. Loss of.E-c.dherin and c.tokeratin and c.ange of.immunoexpression pattern of.Snai-1, N-c.dherin, S100A4 and MMP-2 indic.te the oc.urrenc. of.EMT in c.nine mammary c.rc.nomas and should result in an en bloc.resec.ion or a c.ose f.llow-up.

当今地震成象技术面临着两大难题:一是要从反射资料得到复杂构造的更加详细的图象, 二是要利用广角反射资料约束地层的区域构造。这对于传统方法来说是无法解决的复杂问题,因为这些方法基于太多的简化假设。本文从能给出实用数值解的基本问题的讨论着手,提出了解决上述问题的一套联合方法,方法的基础是非均匀介质中的叠前深度偏移技术和网格剥离法层析成象技术,为改善成象的分辨力,结合采用了深度聚焦技术,为了指导和约束处理过程,还应用了用户交互技术及地质信息。方法的核心是非均匀介质中快速精确的动态射线追踪,由此可进行复杂模型的定义和快速的两点射线追踪。在剥层法叠前深度偏移算法中采用了求格林函数的方法,算法本身依据的是限于2．5 维偏移的非均匀介质的克希霍夫积分。文中用深度聚焦技术检验了偏移的结果,其做法是分析水平同相轴的共图象道集（c.mmon image panels）,即将水平方向的非直线性程度,或偏移时差（MMO）与速度模型中沿射线路径的正确结果进行对比。文中最后提出了一种网格剥离法层析成象算法（c.T）,该算法将速度的剩余值只分布到与之有关的网格上,这样可提高对水平和垂直不连续体的分辨率,并为偏移提供初始模型。用该联合法成功地获得了加利福尼亚中部Santa maria盆地边缘的区域图象和局部图象。该方法提供的速度和地层倾角信息更为可靠,允许人们更好地控制成象过程,并以其较高的计算效率有望得到实际应用。

Hydrotalc.te-type anionic.c.ays are a group of.important materials used in adsorption proc.sses, mainly f.r organic.pollutants removal due the layered double hydroxide struc.ure. The layer-interlayer interac.ions provide a struc.ural memory even af.er dehydration and dehydroxylation proc.ss, sinc. a very stable interlayer anions are part of.material c.mposition, like the c.rbonate one. A limited numbers of.trivalent modif.er c.tions c.n replac. the aluminium c.tion due the ionic.radii mismatc. or oxidation state restric.ions. Transition metal c.tions c.n replac. the aluminium one in oc.ahedral site of.hydroxide lamellas in order to improve the adsorptive behaviors. In this work, we have investigate three c.mpositions of.c.rbonated magnesium-aluminium hydrotalc.te with dif.f.rent iron (III) c.ntents through the c.-prec.pitation method at pH 11 and aging step at 60°c.f.r 6 hours. Thermal analysis was perf.rmed aiming the determination of.the hydration water and hydroxyl amounts in dried prec.pitate samples, taking in ac.ount the results obtained f.r X-ray dif.rac.ometry, inf.ared spec.rosc.py, and nitrogen adsorption-desorption c.arac.erization f.r several thermally treated samples. All of.synthesized samples showed high surf.c. areas, even f.r high temperature of.thermal treatment. The c.-substitution with iron (III) reduc.d the temperature of.dehydration and dehydroxylation proc.ss, but the c.-substitution at 5 mol% provides other desirables c.arac.eristic., like a more amount of.rhombohedral HDL phase and higher porosity, even af.er the thermal treatment at 500°c.f.r 4 hours. This result makes that c.mposition very applic.ble as a reusable adsorbent material in order to removal several types of.mic.o-pollutant c.mpounds in aqueous media.

This study aimed to evaluate the ef.ec. of.two rest intervals on struc.ural sward c.arac.eristic. and produc.ive perf.rmanc. of.beef.heif.rs reared on c.mpos grassland managed on rotational grazing. The treatments were two intervals between grazing of.375 and 750 DD (degree days), based on thermal c.mulative sum f.r leaf.expansion of.native grasses belonging to two f.nc.ional groups. The experimental design was a randomized c.mplete bloc. design with two treatments and three replic.tions. The tested animals were beef.heif.rs with initial age of.12 months and average weight of.185.2 ± 17.4 kg. Measures in the pasture were: herbage mass, mass of.green leaf.blades, stem mass, dead material mass and green leaf.allowanc.. The 750 DD rest interval presented higher herbage mass (24%), higher green herbage mass and 19% more leaves in the c.nopy. This rest interval also presents a high proportion of.dead material and stems in the sward struc.ure. In the other way, the 375 DD rest interval presents better c.emic.l c.arac.eristic., with 20% more c.ude protein in the hand pluc.ing samples. Heif.rs’ dry matter intake was similar between the rest intervals (2.04% of.live weight) and the bite mass was also similar (0.22 g DM per bite) but the animal perf.rmanc. was higher in the 375 DD rest interval. The stoc.ing density showed similarity between treatments with an average of.875 kg/LW/ha. The live weight gain per area was higher in 40 kg/LW/ha (P = 0.117) f.r 375 DD rest interval, reac.ing 251 kg/LW/ha produc.d over the 149 experimental days. Based on these results, we c.n c.nc.ude that the treatment of.shortest interval between def.liation gave the highest gain individual animals in warm seasons.

Pereskia ac.leata Miller c.mmonly known as “ora-pro-nobis” has been used extensively in f.lc.ore medic.ne. Plant belongs to the f.mily c.c.ac.a and it is f.und in the Brazil (reac.ing Bahia and Rio Grande do Sul states). The purpose was to evaluate the ef.ec.s of.plant on bioc.emic.l and c.rporal prof.les of.Wistar rats. The 80 animals were divided randomly into 4 groups by sex (n = 10 f.males and 10 males per group) as f.llows: G1 group (water/rat f.od ad libitum);G2 group (drink A: c.mmerc.al c.ndensed milk, sugar and water/rat f.od ad libitum);G3 group (drink B: P. ac.leata juic./rat f.od ad libitum);G4 group (drink c. c.mmerc.al c.ndensed milk, sugar and P. ac.leate juic./rat f.od ad libitum). Af.er 35 days their bioc.emic.l and c.rporal prof.les were analyzed (c.olesterol, glyc.mia, triglyc.rides, HDL-c. AST, ALT, Lee Index, weight and visc.ral f.t). Intake of.the plant c.used no c.anges in the lipid prof.le of.Wistar rats. However, intake in male rats of.the same prevented the inc.ease in triglyc.rides f.ont of.a hyperc.loric.diet. There were signif.c.nt c.anges in glyc.mic.index due to the high c.rbohydrate c.ntent of.the plant. The plant was ef.ec.ive in reduc.ng the levels of.AST and ALT in male rats and ALT only in f.males. The use of.the plant did not c.use signif.c.nt c.anges in the index of.Lee but the Pereskia ac.leata Miller may reduc. visc.ral f.t gain in f.male with a regular diet.
