With the rapid development of industry,volatile organic compounds(VOCs)are gaining attention as a class of pollutants that need to be eliminated due to their adverse effects on the environment and human *** combustion is the most popular technology used for the removal of VOCs as it can be adapted to different organic emissions under mild *** review first introduces the hazards of VOCs,their treatment technologies,and summarizes the treatment mechanism ***,the characteristics and catalytic performance of perovskite oxides as catalysts for VOC removal are expounded,with a special focus on lattice distortions and surface defects caused by metal doping and surface modifications,and on the treatment of different *** challenges and the prospects regarding the design of perovskite oxides catalysts for the catalytic combustion of VOCs are also *** review provides a reference base for improving the performance of perovskite catalysts to treat VOCs.

AIM:To investigate perception of natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery(NOTES)as a potential technique for ***:One hundred patients undergoing endoscopy and 100 physicians were given a questionnaire describing in detail the techniques of NOTES and laparoscopic *** were asked about the reasons for their preference,choice of orifice,and extent of complication risk they were willing to ***:Fifty patients(50%)and only 21 physicians(21%)preferred NOTES(P<0.001).Patients had previously heard of NOTES less frequently(7%vs73%,P<0.001)and had undergone endoscopy more frequently(88%vs 36%,P<0.001)than *** of hernia was the most common reason for NOTES preference in physicians(80%vs 44%,P= 0.003),whereas reduced pain was the most common reason in patients(66%vs 52%).Physicians were more likely to refuse NOTES as a novel and unsure technique(P<0.001)and having an increased risk of infection(P<0.001).The preferred access site in both groups was colon followed by stomach,with vagina being rarely *** multivariable modeling,those with high-school education[odds ratio(OR):2.68,95% confidence interval(CI):1.23-5.83]and prior colonoscopy(OR:2.10,95%CI:1.05-4.19)were more likely to prefer NOTES over laparoscopic *** was a steep decline in NOTES preference with increased rate of procedural *** patients were more likely to consent to their wives vaginal NOTES appendectomy than male physicians(P=0.02).CONCLUSION:The preference of NOTES for appendectomy was greater in patients than physicians and was related to reduced pain and absence of hernia rather than lack of scarring.

In this paper,we do research on generating unitary matrices for quantum circuits *** consider that quantum circuits are divided into six types,and the unitary operator expressions for each type are *** on this,we propose an algorithm for computing the circuit unitary matrices in ***,for quantum logic circuits composed of quantum logic gates,a faster method to compute unitary matrices of quantum circuits with truth table is introduced as a ***,we apply the proposed algorithm to different reversible benchmark circuits based on NCT library(including NOT gate,Controlled-NOT gate,Toffoli gate)and generalized Toffoli(GT)library and provide our experimental results.

Transcriptional coordination, or co-expression, of genes may signify functional relatedness of the corresponding proteins. For example, several genes involved in secondary cell wall cellulose biosynthesis are co-expressed with genes engaged in the synthesis of xylan, which is a major component of the secondary cell wall. To extend these types of analyses, we investigated the co-expression relationships of all Carbohydrate-Active enZYmes （CAZy）-related genes for Arabidopsis thaliana. Thus, the intention was to transcriptionally link different cell wall-related processes to each other, and also to other biological functions. To facilitate easy manual inspection, we have displayed these interactions as networks and matrices, and created a web-based interface （http：***） containing downloadable files for all the transcriptional associations.

Influence of Series Choke on Damping of Switching Transients in Distribution Transformers

Distribution transformers operating in modern system grids or in industrial networks are subjected to many switching transients,which may occur due to routine operations,network reconfigurations or as reaction on protection *** on the network configuration and parameters,such events may lead to external overvoltages and result in additional stresses on the insulation *** paper presents the influence of a series choke on damping of switching transients in distribution *** impact of the choke is assessed by both amplitude and rise time *** suppression of the transient rise time is shown for a test configuration involving distribution transformers connected to low loss cable lines and a medium voltage *** phenomena are especially typical for industrial networks where switching operations are very *** simulation and experiment results are *** results as well as measurement results confirmed that switching events can lead to high dU/dt and in consequence,can have adverse impacts on insulation *** escalation during switching event is strongly related with system *** results obtained for presented mitigation method are promising and indicate significant dU/dt reduction as well as number of ignitions and voltage peak *** protection of distribution transformers with a series choke is a new approach dedicated to environments prone to the occurrence of transients with high *** results show that the application of serial choke with suitable parameters realizes the reduction of dU/dt at the machines terminal from 24 kV/μs to 5 kV/μs,as well as the reduction of voltage peak value from 10 kV to 5 *** number of ignitions is also reduced.

Diagnostic accuracy of serum biochemical fibrosis markers in children with chronic hepatitis B evaluated by receiver operating characteristics analysis

METHODS： We determined the serum level of apolipoprotein A-I （APO A-I）, haptoglobin （HPT） and a-2 macroglobulin （A2I） with an automatic nephelometer in 63 children （age range 4-17 years, mean 10 years） with biopsy-verified chronic HBeAg-positive hepatitis B. Fibrosis stage and inflammation grade were assessed in a blinded fashion according to Batts and Ludwig. We defined mild liver fibrosis as a score ≤2 and advanced fibrosis as a score equal to 3. ROC analysis was used to calculate the power of the assays to detect advanced liver fibrosis （AccuROC, Canada）. RESULTS： Serum concentrations of APO A-I, HPT and A2M were not significantly different in patients with chronic hepatitis B compared to controls. However, APO A-I level of 1.19 ng/L had a sensitivity of 85.7% and a specificity of 60.7% （AUC = 0.7117, P = 0.035） to predict advanced fibrosis. All other serum biochemical markers and their combination did not allow a useful prediction. None of these markers was a good predictor of histologic inflammation. CONCLUSION： Apolipoprotein A-I may be a suitable serum marker to predict advanced liver fibrosis in children with chronic hepatitis B.

Regulation of protein function by reversible S-nitrosation,a post-translational modification based on the attachment of nitroso group to cysteine thiols,has emerged among key mechanisms of NO signalling in plant development and stress responses.S-nitrosoglutathione is regarded as the most abundant low-molecular-weight S-nitrosothiol in plants,where its intracellular concentrations are modulated by S-nitrosoglutathione *** analysed modulations of S-nitrosothiols and protein S-nitrosation mediated by S-nitrosoglutathione reductase in cultivated Solanum lycopersicum(susceptible)and wild Solanum habrochaites(resistant genotype)up to 96h post inoculation(hpi)by two hemibiotrophic oomycetes,Phytophthora infestans and Phytophthora parasitica.S-nitrosoglutathione reductase activity and protein level were decreased by *** and *** infection in both genotypes,whereas protein S-nitrosothiols were increased by *** infection,particularly at 72 hpi related to pathogen biotrophy–necrotrophy *** levels of S-nitrosothiols localised in both proximal and distal parts to the infection site,which suggests together with their localisation to vascular bundles a signalling role in systemic responses.S-nitrosation targets in plants infected with *** identified by a proteomic analysis include namely antioxidant and defence proteins,together with important proteins of metabolic,regulatory and structural *** peroxidase S-nitrosation was observed in both genotypes in parallel to increased enzyme activity and protein level during *** pathogenesis,namely in the susceptible *** results show important regulatory functions of protein S-nitrosation in concerting molecular mechanisms of plant resistance to hemibiotrophic pathogens.

The results of our research on the cuticular and internal lipids of Blattella germanica males provide new information on variation in the composition of the cuticular and internal lipids ofB. germanica males after exposure to the presence of the insecticide. gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analyses were used to identify and quantify the cuticular and internal lipid composition in males and males exposed to insecticide. There were significantly more acids having an even number of carbon atoms in the molecule, and these were also generally in higher concentrations. The following acids were in a higher concentration： C16：0 and C18：1, C18：2, C18：0. In both males and males exposed to insecticide, 24 fatty acids ranging from C6 to C22 were determined. However, there was a significantly higher content of fatty acids in the surface lipids of B. germanica males after exposure to insecticide. Our results indicate a higher content of n-alkanes, sterols, particularly cholesterol, fatty acids, and fatty acid methyl esters in the B. germanica surface after exposure to chlorpyrifos than in males that were not exposed.
