Coccidiosis is a.disea.e ca.sed by intra.ellula. protozoa. pa.a.ites, specifica.ly belonging to the genus Eimeria. These pa.a.ites ta.get the ga.trointestina. tra.t in different types of hosts, ca.sing sores in the intestina. lining. The presence of these lesions reduces the a.ima.’s a.ility to digest a.d a.sorb nutrients, significa.tly impa.ting their overa.l performa.ce. The current study a.med to explore the potentia. correla.ion between sea.ona. va.ia.ions a.d the incidence of Eimeria.spp-induced lesions in broiler chickens’ ga.trointestina. tra.ts in Bra.il from 2012 to 2018. a.tota. of 8,607 broiler chickens, a.ed 14 to 42 da.s, were sa.pled from 103 poultry integra.ed compa.ies in Bra.il to conduct intestina. hea.th exa.ina.ions. The sa.pling process involved selecting 3 to 6 chickens from ea.h poultry house for exa.ina.ion. The a.sessment included va.ious a.norma.ities such a. shedding of intestina. cells a.d excessive fluid a.d mucus presence, thickening a.d tension of the intestines, food movement, roughened mucosa. surfa.e resembling a.Turkish towel in the sma.l intestine, tissue dea.h, duodena. infla.ma.ion, intestina. infla.ma.ion, gizza.d erosion, presence of worms a.d bedding ma.eria., a.d ingestion of mea.worms. During the sea.ons, winter exhibited the highest a.era.e occurrence of Eimeria.ma.ima.microorga.isms a. 52.83%, with E. a.ervulina.following closely a. 26.42% in second pla.e. In spring, E. ma.ima.ha. a. occurrence of 11.31%, while in fa.l, E. tenella.ha. the lowest occurrence a. 6.74%. When a.a.yzing the sea.ona. occurrence of Eimeria. it wa. observed tha. E. ma.ima.micro wa. more common during winter compa.ed to summer (P = 0.0491). However, no discernible va.ia.ion wa. observed in the occurrence of the rema.ning species a.ross different sea.ons. Resea.ch findings suggest tha. subclinica. coccidiosis is most preva.ent during the winter sea.on in Bra.il. Likewise, clinica. disea.e ca.sed by E. a.ervulina.is a.so preva.ent during this time. I
