Un.er the ren.wable en.rgy con.ext, sugarcan. biomass pyrolysis has been.growin. as a con.en.en. route to produce bio-oil, which can.be set in.o the chemical in.ustry an. refin.ries as buildin. blocks or combustion.fuel. In.this work sugarcan. straw was submitted to direct pyrolysis in.a fluidized bed pilot plan. at 500°C, in.presen.e of air. Sugarcan. in.n.tura was also pyrolysed as a model for comparison. in.order to determin. the viability of processin. differen. sources of raw biomass. The physicochemical characterization.of the biomass precursors as well as of the bio-oils was also carried out, which poin.s both biomass feedstocks as suitable for bio-oil production.in.terms of viscosity, surface ten.ion. den.ity an. acidity. The bio-oil obtain.d from sugarcan. in.n.tura presen.ed higher carbon.an. hydrogen.con.en. as well as lower oxygen.con.en.. On.the other han., the metal con.en. is higher in.the bio-oil obtain.d from sugarcan. straw, in.special the iron.an. potassium con.en.s were 807 ppm an. 123 ppm again.t 27 ppm an. 1 ppm in.the bio-oil from sugarcan. in.n.tura. Aliphatic an. aromatic compoun.s as well as carbohydrates scaffolds were iden.ified as the main.compon.n.s of the bio-oil. GC-MS an.lyses showed aromatic products from lign.n. fragmen.ation.an. free sugars an. sugar derivatives.

Backgroun.： Man. studies have in.estigated en.ogen.us loss of protein. an. amin. acids （AAs） at the ileal level in.growin. pigs. However, on.y a few studies have researched this subject in.piglets. Kn.wledge regardin. AA ileal digestibility in.piglets would be helpful durin. the formulation.of diets for wean.n. piglets, rather than.just usin. coefficien.s obtain.d in.growin. pigs. Therefore, in.this study, we sought to estimate en.ogen.us protein.an. AA ileal losses in.piglets. Furthermore, apparen. an. true ileal digestibility （AID an. TID） of protein.an. AAs from casein.were measured. Results： The average flow of protein.was 20.8 g/kg of dry matter in.ake （DMI）. Basal protein.loss, as estimated by regression. was 16.9 g/kg DMI. Glutamic acid, argin.n., an. aspartic acid （2.2, 1.4, an. 1.2 g/kg DMI, respectively） were the AAs for which greater losses were seen. The AID of protein.an. AAs in.reased as the protein.level in.the diet in.reased. A higher in.remen. in.AID was observed between.diets with 80 an.160 g CP/kg of feed; this fin.in. was main.y attributable to in.reases in.glycin. an. argin.n. （46.1% an. 18%, respectively）. The TID of protein.was 97.8, an. the TID of AAs varied from 93.9 for histidin. to 100.2 for phen.lalan.n.. Con.lusion.： The basal en.ogen.us protein.loss in.piglets was 16.9 g/kg DMI. En.ogen.us protein.was rich in.glutamic acid, aspartic acid, an. argin.n., which represen.ed 32.7% of en.ogen.us protein.loss in.wean.n. piglets. The TID of casein.was high an. varied from 93.0 for histidin. to 100.2 for phen.lalan.n..

Trypan.soma cruzi is the causative agen. of Chagas *** parasite requires the in.racellular n.che in.order to proliferate an. dissemin.te the *** in.asion.*** resides temporarily in.an.acidic vacuole which is lysed by a n.t well-un.erstood *** electron.microscopy was used to describe the process of *** escape from the parasitophorous vacuole over the *** HeLa(n.n.profession.l phagocytic cells)as host cell,we observed that recen.ly in.ern.lized parasites reside in.a membran.-boun.ed vacuole.A few hours later,the first sign.of vacuole disruption.appeared as membran. *** observation.was followed by a progressive vacuole swellin. as eviden.ed by an.electron.lucen. halo between.the parasite an. the vacuole ***,the vacuole membran. remn.n.s reorgan.zed as small vesicles that even.ually disappeared from the vicin.ty of the ***,parasites reach the host cell cytosol where replication.takes *** thorough ultrastructural description.of this process set the base for a comprehen.ive un.erstan.in. of the parasite-host cell in.eraction.an.,thus open.the possibility of n.w therapeutic in.erven.ion.strategies.

The results observed in.the literature raise the hypothesis accordin. to which cytokin.n.plays importan. roles in.photosyn.hetic metabolisms an. an.ioxidan. en.ymes. Thus, the study aimed to evaluate the effect of foliar application.of the isolated cytokin.n.kin.tin.at the production.cycle, seekin. to an.lyze its effects on.en.yme activity an. photosyn.hetic parameters. The plan.s treated with CK presen.ed reduction.of leaf CO_2 assimilation.rate(Pn. an. stomatal con.uctan.e(Gs), while that tran.piration.rate(Tr) was un.ffected. The in.ern.l CO_2 con.en.ration. decreased with the in.rease in.cytokin.n.levels, but were main.ain.d un.er CK 50 mg·L^(-1). The plan.s treated with CK 75 mg·L^(-1) was verified higher carboxylation.efficien.y(Pn.Ci), which was associated to values of CO_2 assimilation.an. tran.piration.un.ltered. Apparen. electron.tran.port rate showed variation. in.the con.en.ration.of 25 mg·L^(-1). Con.iderin. the study of en.yme activity, on.the other han., it can.ot be stated that kin.tin.has an.effective action.in.delayin. oxidative damage. It presen.s mixed results, sin.e an.efficien.y in.the application.of cytokin.n.was n.t observed, presen.in. in.uction.levels of ascorbate peroxidase activity. Thus, further research is n.eded to determin. more precisely the effects of kin.tin.on.gas exchan.e an. an.ioxidan. en.ymes in.an.hurium plan.s.

Medicin.l plan.s have been.presen.ed as a valuable source of preservation.of human.health. In.special, Stryphn.den.ron.barbatiman.has been.employed due to its an.imicrobial activity. This plan. is rich in.tan.in. an. has been.used in.popular medicin. for the treatmen. of gastroin.estin.l disorder, treatmen. of lesion., an. also as an.i-in.lammatory microbicide. Citrobacter freun.ii is a member of the family En.erobacteriaceae an. is on. of the major causes of opportun.stic in.ection.. This microorgan.sm is a bacterium (bacillus) aerobic gram-n.gative with a len.th in.the ran.e of 1 to 5 mm. C. freun.ii is common.y foun. in.water, soil, food an. occasion.lly in.the gastroin.estin.l tract of an.mals an. human.. In.this paper, we have demon.trated the an.ibacterial activity of S. barbatiman.by observin. cellular death by usin. in.ibition.halo approach. Atomic force microscopy an. FT-IR spectroscopy results suggested that in.eraction.between.the main.active compon.n.s of S. barbatiman.with cellular wall of C. freun.ii gives rise to cellular wall damage, an. then.leads this microorgan.sm to death.
