BACKGROUND Patients with diabetes mellitus(Dm)are predisposed to an increased risk of infection signifying the importance of vaccination to protect against its potentially severe *** Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices(CDC/ACIP)issued immunization recommendations to protect this patient *** To assess the adherence of patients with Dm to the CDC/ACIP immunization recommendations in Saudi Arabia and to identify the factors associated with the vaccine adherence *** An observational retrospective study conducted in 2023 was used to collect data on the vaccination records from 13 diabetes care centers in Saudi Arabia with 1000 eligible patients in phase I with data collected through chart review and 709 patients in phase II through online *** Among participants,10.01%(n=71)had never received any vaccine,while 85.89%(n=609)received at least one dose of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)vaccine,and 34.83%(n=247)had received the annual influenza *** 2.96%(n=21),2.11%(n=15),and 1.12%(n=8)received herpes zoster,tetanus,diphtheria,and pertussis(Tdap),and human papillomavirus(HPV)vaccines,*** patients with Dm in Saudi Arabia,the rate of vaccination for annual influenza and COVID-19 vaccines was higher compared to other vaccinations such as herpes zoster,Tdap,pneumococcal,and *** such as vaccine recommendations provided by family physicians or specialists,site of care,income level,Dm-related hospitalization history,residency site,hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)level,and health sector type can significantly influence the vaccination rate in patients with *** non-vaccinated patients with Dm,the most reported barriers were lack of knowledge and fear of side *** signifies the need for large-scale research in this area to identify additional factors that might facilitate adherence to CDC/ACIP vaccine recommendations in patients with *** In S

An Animated GIF Steganography Using Variable Block Partition Scheme

The paper presents a novel Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) Steganography system. The algorithm uses an animated (GIF) file format video to applyon, a secured and variable image partition scheme for data embedding. The secretdata could be any character text, any image, an audio file, or a video file;that isconverted in the form of bits. The proposed method uses a variable partitionscheme structure for data embedding in the (GIF) file format video. The algorithmestimates the capacity of the cover (GIF) image frames to embed data bits. Ourmethod built variable partition blocks in an empty frame separately and incorporate it with randomly selected (GIF) frames. This way the (GIF) frame is dividedinto variable block same as in the empty frame. Then algorithm embeds secretdata on appropriate pixel of the (GIF) frame. Each selected partition block for dataembedding, can store a different number of data bits based on block size. Intruders could never come to know exact position of the secrete data in this stegoframe. All the (GIF) frames are rebuild to make animated stego (GIF) *** performance of the proposed (GIF) algorithm has experimented andevaluated based on different input parameters, like mean Square Error (mSE)and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) values. The results are compared withsome existing methods and found that our method has promising results.

Anticancer activity of Aloe vera and Calligonum comosum extracts separetely on hepatocellular carcinoma cells

Objective: To investigate the in vitro anticancer effect of Aloe vera(A. vera) and Calligonum comosum(C. comosum) extracts against hepatocellular carcinoma(HepG 2) cells. methods: Hep G2 cells were tested against different doses of A. vera and C. comosum. Viability of the cells was assessed by mTT assay. Evaluation of apoptosis and DNA damage in HepG 2 cells were performed using annexin V apoptosis detection kit. The expression of p53 and anti-apoptotic(Bcl-2) were tested by real time-PCR and flow cytometer analyser. Hematoxylin and eosin stained sections from untreated and treated HepG 2 cells were observed using light ***: The IC50 values of A. vera and C. comosum extracts were(10.45 ± 0.31) and(9.60 ± 0.01) μg/mL respectively. The extracts separately increased cytotoxicity against HepG 2 cells in a time and dose dependent manners. Also, it apparently induced apoptosis through increase P53 and decrease Bcl-2 genes ***: The results indicated that the extracts could have anti-hepatocarcinogenic effect, at least in part, through modulation of apoptosis.

中国的发展速度日趋加快，国际地位也稳步提升。在此背景下，全球汉语热持续升温，阿拉伯国家的汉语学习者显著增多。疑问句是现代汉语中一个重要的知识点，在汉语作为第二语言教学中是项不可缺少的教学内容。本文在前人研究成果的基础上进行了对于汉语疑问句本体和汉语作为第二语言的疑问句习得过程的研究。研究这方面内容的学者人数众多，而且已经取得许多优秀成果。但是对汉语疑问句与阿拉伯语疑问句进行对比研究的并不多见。疑问句是有针对性地提出问题的句式。阿拉伯语中与汉语中的疑问句式在结构上既有相同之处，也有相异之处，这些异同点是阿拉伯学习者在习得汉语疑问句时产生偏误的原因之一。本文主要在疑问句本体研究的基础上考察阿拉伯语母语学习者习得汉语疑问句的过程及所产生的偏误、对阿汉两种语言中的疑问句进行对比、分析偏误类型及产生的原因、并提出相应的教学建议。本论文共分为六章;第一章是绪论，主要介绍本文的选题理由及意义、研究目的、研究方法、研究内容和国内外学界对疑问句的研究成果。第二章是对汉语疑问句本体的研究，主要介绍国内学界对现代汉语疑问句的几种不同分类方法，然后在此基础上将汉语疑问句分为两大类：第一类是一般疑问句，包括是非问句、选择问句、特指问句和正反问句;第二是特殊疑问句，包括用“呢”问句、反问句和二重问句。最后，对各类问句的几种句式、预设及语义进行介绍。第三章是对汉语中与阿拉伯语中的一般疑问句进行对比研究，指出两种语言中疑问句的异同。第四章是根据对阿拉伯学生的问卷调查结果来分析阿拉伯学习者使用汉语疑问句时产生的偏误类型及原因。首先，根据收集到的数据总结疑问句偏误的具体分布规律;然后，结合疑问句的偏误类型，经深入分析，得出导致偏误产生的因素主要有母语负迁移、目的语规则泛化与教材不足。第五章是综合以上分析结果，提出针对每类偏误或者每种疑问句的教学办法，重点在于教材的编写与教师技能的巩固。第六章是本研究的结论。

Health status of working children in Jordan: Comparison between working and nonworking children at schools and industrial sites

The purpose of this study is to explore the psychosocial and physical health impact of child labor and in Jordan and compare between working and nonworking children at schools and industrial sites. methods: A sample of 4008 children at schools and industrial sites answered the self-report questionnaires that include physical and psychosocial health concerns, health screening survey, anger expression and child abuse survey. The results showed that both nonschool and school working children have various physical and psychosocial health problems. Physical complaints included common cold, flu, hearing and vision problems. Psychosocial ones included feeling lonely, feeling depressed, problems at home and work, and high level of anger expression, smoking cigarettes and using drugs. The study’s implications for health, education, counseling, and research interventions were discussed.

QbD Approach method Development for Estimation of Dabigatran Etexilate along with Its Impurities and Identification of Degradants in Capsule Dosage Form

The concept of Quality by Design was demonstrated in the development of a stability-indicating assay and related substances method by HPLC for Dabigatran Etexilate Capsules dosage form. method design, method evaluation, method control and life cycle management were explained by systematic flow chart. Analytical Target Product profile was defined. The method was developed using the Inertsil ODS-3V, 150 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm column using the gradient program with ammonium formate buffer as mobile phase A and acetonitrile as mobile phase B. Risk assessment was performed as part of method evaluation. Design of experiment tools was used to optimize the chromatographic conditions. A two-level Full Factorial Design along with Face Centered Central Composite design augmentation was employed and statistical analysis of the experimental data uncovered the significant influential of chromatographic factors. The design space and the contour plot suggest that the current center point parameters can be further modified, resulting in better acceptability of the response parameters. The performance of the optimized method was validated according to current ICH guidelines. Dabigatran Etexilate Capsules was subjected to various stress conditions like oxidative, acid, base, hydrolytic, thermal, humidity, and photolytic degradations and evaluated chromatograms at 220 nm. The degradation products were well separated from each other and main peak, demonstrating the stability-indicating power of the method. One of the major degradant impurities, which are forming in neutral hydrolysis stress condition, is isolated and characterized by using analytical techniques like IR, LC-mS and NmR. Degradation pathway for Dabigatran Etexilate was proposed based on forced degradation data along with reaction mechanism.

multi-detector row computed tomography urography (mDCTU) becomes the imaging modality of choice for evaluation of the kidneys and urinary tract. The aim of this study was to discuss and illustrate the role of mDCTU, on a 32-row CT scanner in the evaluation a variety of entities that were frequently associated with microscopic hematuria in adults. This prospective cohort study was performed in the period of August 2013 to October 2014. Fifty positive participants to microscopic hematuria were examined at the radiology department of Alnilin Diagnostic medical Center and Antalya medical Center. Computed tomography urography (CTU) scanning was performed using two powerful performances, high speed multi-detector row on 32-row CT scanners (Siemens Healthcare Global, Somatom Emotion Duo Eco). Statistical analysis was done through the standard Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA) version 15 for windows. mDCTU established the correct cause of microscopic hematuria in (44;88%) of participants. In (6;12%) of participants, no cause of hematuria was identified based on the standard of references. The causes of hematuria in (41;82%) participants were diseases in the upper urinary tract, while urinary bladder neoplasms (2;4%) and diverticulum (1;2%) were the causes of hematuria (3;6%) in the lower urinary tract. Thirty two-row mDCTU scanner demonstrated satisfactory results in the investigation of microscopic hematuria, being able to demonstrate a wide spectrum of diseases affecting the urinary tract is the main advantage of the technique.

The Impact of Obesity on the Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction Using Echocardiography

Global left ventricle chamber function in obese patients is assessed, most commonly, by means of the ejection fraction. The preferred noninvasive modality for evaluating regional wall motion and overall ventricular performance is usually color-flow Doppler transthoracic echocardiography. The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship of left ventricular ejection fraction to body mass index (BmI) measure of obesity in obese patients by using echocardiography. A prospective cohort study was conducted in the period of July 2012 to September 2014 in the ultrasound department of the Sudan Heart Center in Khartoum-Sudan, among a group of 250 obese participants of acute myocardial infarction (AmI) (67.2% males and 32.8% females) and their ages range from 22 to 86 years;mean age of 41 ± 1.2 years. Echocardiography studies were performed using myLab 50 XVision-Esaote echocardiography machine equipped with 2.5 mHz phased array probe. Standard Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the results. The mean BmI was 28.6 ± 5.4 kg/m2. Significant relationship is found between left ventricle ejection fraction and BmI (P mI is a useful statistical tool to track the body size trends in a multicentric population in Sudan. Left ventricular ejection fraction allows ventricular function to be assessed without the need for further body size adjustment.

Background:At this time of severe budgetary constraints and worldwide nursing shortages,the nursing profession is already facing challenges in keeping its professionals motivated to work during the COVID-19 *** study explores the factors influencing nurses’work motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic in Saudi *** s:A descriptive quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted at King Faisal Hospital in makkah al-mukarramah,Saudi Arabia.A convenience sample of 184 nurses participated in the *** electronic self-administrative questionnaire in the English language was used to collect *** comprises two parts:demographic data and the multidimensional Work motivation Scale(mWmS)using a 7-point Likert *** of variance(ANOVA)and t-tests were utilized to identify the differences in mWmS scores among participants’***:The study found that the overall mean score for the mWmS scale accounted for m=81.32,SD=18.66,with the highest mean score reported for interjected regulation(m=20.19,SD=5.59).moreover,the results revealed that 62%of the participants attained an average level on the overall *** addition,the ANOVA and t-test showed a significant overall effect of the duration of nurses’work experience,the unit of care,the number of working hours per week and salary on nurses’work motivation during COVID-19 at Pministrators and nursing managers should pay careful attention to nurses’work motivation and related factors to increase nurses’quality performance,retention and satisfaction.
