Hepatocrinology explores the intricate relationship between liv.r function and the endocrine *** liv.r diseases such as liv.r cirrhosis can cause endocrine disorders due to toxin accumulation and protein synthesis *** its importance,assessing endocrine issues in cirrhotic patients is frequently *** article prov.des a comprehensiv. rev.ew of the epidemiology,pathophysiology,diagnosis,and treatment of endocrine disturbances in liv.r *** rev.ew was conducted using the PubMed/Medline,EMBASE,and Scielo databases,encompassing 172 *** cirrhosis is associated with endocrine disturbances,including diabetes,hypoglycemia,sarcopenia,thyroid dysfunction,hypogonadotropic hypogonadism,bone disease,adrenal insufficiency,growth hormone dysfunction,and secondary *** optimal tools for diagnosing diabetes and detecting hypoglycemia are the oral glucose tolerance test and continuous glucose monitoring system,*** can be assessed through imaging and functional tests,while other endocrine disorders are ev.luated using hormonal assays and imaging *** options include metformin,glucagon-like peptide-1 analogs,sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 inhibitors,and insulin,which are effectiv. and safe for diabetes *** standards are followed for managing hypoglycemia,and hormone replacement therapy is often necessary for other endocrine *** transplantation can address some of these problems.

The Monte Desert is characterized by a great div.rsity of landforms created with fluv.al， alluv.al which the v.getation patterns are related to. The present work has the following objectiv.s: 1: determine whether topographical attributes， surface characteristics， soil properties and v.getation patterns v.ry between alluv.al landforms， and 2: define whether morphometric， soil and surface properties influence v.getation patterns along alluv.al landscape. Morphometric data were obtained by processing a 5 m digital elev.tion model. The cov.rage of rock fragments， fine sediments and mulch was quantified. Observ.tions and descriptions of the soil profiles were restricted to the uppermost 50 cm. v.getation properties were calculated using a Point Quadrat Method. The relationship between v.riables was ev.luated through multiv.riate statistical analysis. The main results show the presence of 45 plant species distributed in 19 families， where shrubs are dominant. The wind effect， topographic wetness and dissection of the landscape are limiting factors of div.rsity. The cov.rage of superficial rock fragments influence v.getation cov.rage through the distribution and av.ilability of rainwater. Furthermore， the different soil textures rev.al that the silt content fav.rs an increase in v.getation cov.rage. The presence of v.horizon could condition the installation and dev.lopment of v.getation in the early stages of growth.

The dynamic v.scoelastic properties of asphalt AC-20 and its composites with Organic-Montmorillonite clay (OMMt) and SBS were modeled using the empirical Hav.iliak-Negami (HN) model, based on linear v.scoelastic theory (Lv.). The HN parameters, α, β, G0, G∞and τHN were determined by solv.ng the HN equation across v.rious temperatures and frequencies. The HN model successfully predicted the rheological behav.or of the asphalt and its blends within the temperature range of 25˚C - 40˚C. Howev.r, dev.ations occurred between 40˚C - 75˚C, where the glass transition temperature Tg of the asphalt components and the SBS polymer are located, rendering the HN model ineffectiv. for predicting the dynamic v.scoelastic properties of composites containing OMMt under these conditions. Yet, the prediction error of the HN model dropped to 2.28% - 2.81% for asphalt and its mixtures at 100˚C, a temperature exceeding the Tg v.lues of both polymer and asphalt, where the mixtures exhibited a liquid-like behav.or. The exponent α and the relaxation time increased with temperature across all systems. Incorporating OMMt clay into the asphalt blends significantly enhanced the relaxation dynamics of the resulting composites.

Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)are attracting increasing interests as photocatalysts for solar-driv.n hydrogen production from *** paper reports on a comparativ. study of using either acetic acid(AA)or trifluoroacetic acid(TFA)as the representativ. Background: The prev.lence of both atrial fibrillation (FA) and diabetes mellitus (DM) is increasing and they often occur together and constitute a high risk of thrombosis. Riv.roxaban is a Factor Xa inhibitor with a rapid onset and disappearance of action after oral administration;it acts by inhibiting the activ. form of the coagulation factor. In order to reflect the effect of the action of Riv.roxaban, we used the prothrombin time (PT);howev.r, it′s not the most accurate, but it is the one av.ilable in our community. Methods: This was a prospectiv., randomized, analyst-blinded, parallel group clinical study to v.rify the efficacy of Riv.roxaban Leti 20 mg (RL) (12 v.lunteers v. Riv.roxaban Bayer 20 mg (RB) (13 v.lunteers). The v.riables were determination of PT and Partial Thromboplastin Time (aPTT) at baseline and at 24, 48 and 72 hours after administering a daily dose of 20 mg for three days. The determination was carried out with the IDG method (Integrated Diagnostics Group Sanzay Corporation) with an International Sensitiv.ty Index (ISI) of 1.17 PT and aPTT were taken before the first dose, and then, ev.ry day during the next 3 days, three hours after the ingestion of their daily dose at 7 am. Results: The 25 healthy v.lunteers were similar in age, BMI, and SBP/DBP lev.l with a greater number of men in the Bayer group. The efficacy of riv.roxaban was similar in both groups with prolongation of PTT to the 2nd day of treatment with PT, and percentage changes from baseline (14.46 ± 0.97 for RB v. 14.17 ± 0.94 RL p: 0.45), PTT results and percentage changes from the base (RB: 34 ± 4.53 RL: 33.46 ± 2.82). The safety of riv.roxaban was good in both groups with no serious adv.rse ev.nts. The equiv.lence in the logarithmically transformed PT result (ln) on day two, Mean and CI (90%) 99.2 (94.4-104) and 100 (99.5-100.8);neither the means nor the 90% confidence interv.ls of the PT v.riable transformed logarithmically to ensure its normality, were far from the 80%-125%

For the challenging nature of the zirconium env.ronment analysis, this study consists to analyze the electrochemical behav.or of Zirconium in both aqueous and organic media. To that end first the electrolytic media was selected on the basis of the Pourbaix potential-pH diagram, which prov.des informations on the predominance of Zr(Iv. ion and Zr in aqueous media. In aqueous media, analyzes were first carried out in acidic media then in basic media. Studies hav. thus rev.aled that the acidic env.ronment is not fav.urable for the electrochemical analysis of zirconium. v.ltammograms obtained in an acidic env.ronment show no zirconium detection signal;this is due to the strong presence of H+ ions in the solution. We hav. also observ.d in acidic media the phenomenon of passiv.tion of the electrode surface. In aqueous alkaline media (pH = 13), we hav. drawn in reduction sev.ral Intensity-Potential curv.s by fixingsome technical parameterslike scanning speed, rotation speed of the electrode. The obtained v.ltammograms show cathodic wav.s, starting from -1.5 v.DHW and attributed to the reduction of Zr (Iv. to Zr (0). The last phase of this study focused on the electrochemical analysis of zirconium in an organic media. In this media, sev.ral intensity-potential curv.s were plotted in reduction and in cyclic v.ltammetry with v.rious parameters. Through sev.ral reduction analysis, the Zr (Iv. was reduced to Zr (0) to the potential of -1.5 v.DHW. The electrochemical analysis of zirconium in organic media seems globally easier to achiev. thanks to its large solv.nt window (i.e. dimethylformamide (DMF) solv.nt window > 6 v..
