The interfacial reaction and titanium matrix microstructure in continuous SiC fiber-reinforced titanium matrix composite were investigated. By comparison of two samples actuated by 800 ℃ （in α ＋ β dual-phase field） and 920 ℃ （in 13 single-phase field） consolidation, it can be concluded that tri-layer interfacial reaction regions con- sisting of fine TiCx/transition TiCx/coarse TiCx are formed in both two samples. In addition, the total thickness of reaction layer for composites prepared at 920℃ is thicker than that consolidated at 800℃, while fine TiCx layer of 920℃ sample is thinner than that of 800 ℃ sample, which may be ascribed to the quick growth of PVD-Ti17 grain manufactured at 920 ℃. In addition, lower interfacial shear strength is obtained in 920 ℃ sample, which can be ascribed to the formation of too thick brittle TiC layer. The research in the work is expected to motivate further exploration for interface adjustment of titanium matrix composites.

Transition metal-based nanomaterials have emerged as promising electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction（OER）. Considerable research efforts have shown that self-reconstruction occurs on these nanomaterials under operating conditions of OER process. However, most of them undergo incomplete reconstruction with limited thickness of reconstruction layer, leading to low component utilization and arduous exploration of real catalytic mechanism. Herein, we identify the dynamic behaviors in complete reconstruction of Co-based complexes during OER. The hollow phytic acid（PA） cross-linked CoFe-based complex nanoboxes with porous nanowalls are designed because of their good electrolyte penetration and mass transport ability, in favor of the fast and complete reconstruction. A series of experiment characterizations demonstrate that the reconstruction process includes the fast substitution of PA by OH-to form Co（Fe）(OH)xand subsequent potential-driven oxidation to Co（Fe）OOH. The obtained CoFeOOH delivers a low overpotential of 290 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm-2and a long-term *** experiment results together with theory calculations reveal that the Fe incorporation can result in the electron rearrangement of reconstructed CoFeOOH and optimization of their electronic structure,accounting for the enhanced OER activity. The work provides new insights into complete reconstruction of metal-based complexes during OER and offers guidelines for rational design of high-performance electrocatalysts.

Understanding the effect of intermolecular interaction on the growth dynamic of active layers is critical for advancing organic solar cells(OSCs). However, the diverse structure of donors and acceptors makes the research challenging. Additives with customizable structures and properties could simplify this complexity. Herein, we meticulously tailor two additives of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(EDOT) and 2,5-dibromo-3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(DBEDOT), possessing distinct intermolecular interaction features to elaborate the inherent relationship. It is found that varied interaction strengths can alter film formation processes. The enhanced intermolecular interaction between the DBEDOT and non-fullerene acceptor BTP-e C9-4F results in pre-aggregation and longer crystallization duration of BTP-e C9-4F, facilitating the formation of films with compact molecular packing and decent phase separation. Thus, exciton dissociation and charge transport become more efficient. Finally, devices processed with DBEDOT exhibit a remarkable power conversion efficiency of 19.35% in small-area OSCs and 14.11% in bladecoated 5 cm × 5 cm organic solar mini-modules. Especially, OSCs can maintain 80% of their initial efficiency after continuous annealing at 85 °C for over 2,100 h.

This editorial examines a recent study that used radiomics based on computed tomography(CT)to predict the expression of the fibroblast-related gene enhancer of zeste homolog 2(EZH2)and its correlation with the survival of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).By integrating radiomics with molecular analysis,the study presented a strategy for accurately predicting the expression of EZH2 from CT *** findings demonstrated a strong link between the radiomics model,EZH2 expression,and patient *** noninvasive approach provides valuable insights into the therapeutic management of HCC.

High-precision deformation monitoring algorithm for GBSAR system: rail determination phase error compensation

In recent years, the repeat-pass GBSAR(ground based synthetic aperture radar) system has demonstrated its capacity to acquire deformation. Nevertheless, in a variety of applications, it needs to measure the deformation with the precision up to 0.1 mm, which could not be reached by utilizing the traditional PS(permanent scatterer) algorithm in most cases. Generally, one of the main reasons could be summarized into the phase error caused by the rail determination error, because the precision of rail determination might degrade during long working hours. However, the traditional PS algorithm could not compensate for the phase error caused by the rail determination error. In order to solve the problems, we modify the conventional PS ***, we deduced the transformation relationship between the rail determination error and its corresponding interferometric phase error. Then, the phase errors caused by the atmosphere and the rail determination error were jointly compensated. The experimental data, which were obtained in Fangshan District in Beijing(China), were used to test and verify the performance of the new algorithm. After the comparison between the results processed by the new algorithm and those processed by the traditional algorithm, the proposed method demonstrated its ability to obtain high-precision deformation.

Chiral thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF) molecules showing circularly polarized luminescence(CPL) have great potential in 3D displays. However, the relationships among CPL property, device performance and molecule structure are still not clear. In this article, we develop a strategy to promote dissymmetry factors without sacrifice in device performance and study the impact of molecule structures towards CPL property. Three novel TADF enantiomers are synthesized and studied.(R/S)-SCN with diminutive cyano group as an acceptor shows dissymmetry factor |gPL| ≈ 1.4×10^(-3) and noticeable organic light-emitting diode(OLED) performances with a maximum external quantum efficiency(EQEmax) of 23.0%. For(R/S)-SPHCN, the prolonged electron withdrawing group benzonitrile enhances |gPL| up to 3.6×10^(-3) with decreased device EQEmaxof 15.4%. By further replacing benzonitrile with(trifluoromethyl)pyridine, the enantiomers of(R/S)-SCFPY show similar |gPL| factors of 3.5×10^(-3) and device EQE_(max)up to 23.3%, which represents the highest efficiency among sprio-type TADF materials based OLEDs. Furthermore, the OLEDs also show obvious circularly polarized electroluminescence with gELfactors of-1.4/1.8×10^(-3),-3.6/3.6×10^(-3) and-3.7/3.6×10^(-3), respectively. These results indecate by delicate functional group engineering, high g factor can be achieved while maintaining decent device performances. Besides,(R/S)-SCFPY represents an impressive TADF emitter, which shows promoted g factor and recorded high device EQE_(max)among similar molecules.

The evolution of inclusions and the formation of acicular ferrite(AF)in Ca-Ti treated steel was systematically investigated after Mg and La *** inclusions in the molten steel were Ca-Al-O,Ca-Al-Mg-O,and La-Mg-Ca-Al-O after Ca,Mg,and La addition,*** type of oxide inclusion in the final quenched samples was the same as that in the molten ***,unlike those in molten steel,the inclusions were Ca-Al-Ti-O+MnS,Ca-Mg-Al-Ti-O+MnS,and La-Ca-Mg-Al-Ti-O+MnS in Mg-free,Mg-containing,and La-containing samples,*** inclusions distributed dispersedly in the La-containing *** addition,the average size of the inclusions in the La-containing sample was the smallest,while the number density of inclusions was the *** size of effective inclusions(nucleus of AF formation)was mainly in the range of 1-3μ*** addition,the content of ferrite side plates(FSP)decreased,while the percentage of AF increased by 16.2%due to the increase in the number of effective inclusions in the La-containing sample in this study.

The load rejection transient process of bulb turbine units is critical to safety of hydropower stations,and determining appropriate closing laws of guide vanes(GVs)and runner blades(RBs)for this process is of *** this study,we proposed a procedure to optimize the co-closing law of GVs and RBs by using computational fluid dynamics(CFD),combined with the design of experiment(DOE)method,approximation model,and genetic optimization *** sensitivity of closing law parameters on the histories of head,speed,and thrust was analyzed,and a two-stage GVs’closing law associating with a linear RBs’closing law was *** results show that GVs dominate the transient characteristics by controlling the change of *** GVs’first-stage closing speed while shortening first-stage closing time can not only significantly reduce the maximum rotational speed but also suppress the water hammer pressure;slowing GVs’second-stage closing speed is conducive to controlling the maximum reverse axial *** directly affect the runner *** RBs’closing speed can further reduce the rotational speed and the maximum reverse axial *** safety margin of each control parameter,flow patterns,and pressure pulsations of a practical hydropower station were all improved after optimization,demonstrating the effectiveness of this method.
