Experiment and constitutive modelling of creep deformation in the frozen silt-concrete interface

To ensure the long-term safety and stability of bridge pile foundations in permafrost regions,it is necessary to investigate the rheological effects on the pile tip and pile side bearing *** creep characteristics of the pile-frozen soil interface are critical for determining the long-term stability of permafrost pile *** study utilized a self-developed large stress-controlled shear apparatus to investigate the shear creep characteristics of the frozen silt-concrete interface,and examined the influence of freezing temperatures(−1,−2,and−5°C),contact surface roughness(0,0.60,0.75,and 1.15 mm),normal stress(50,100,and 150 kPa),and shear stress on the creep characteristics of the contact *** incorporating the contact surface’s creep behavior and development trends,we established a creep constitutive model for the frozen silt-concrete interface based on the Nishihara model,introducing nonlinear elements and a damage *** results revealed significant creep effects on the frozen silt-concrete interface under constant load,with creep displacement at approximately 2-15 times the instantaneous displacement and a failure creep displacement ranging from 6 to 8 *** different experimental conditions,the creep characteristics of the frozen silt-concrete interface varied.A larger roughness,lower freezing temperatures,and higher normal stresses resulted in a longer sample attenuation creep time,a lower steady-state creep rate,higher long-term creep strength,and stronger creep *** upon the Nishihara model,we considered the influence of shear stress and time on the viscoelastic viscosity coefficient and introduced a damage factor to the *** improved model effectively described the entire creep process of the frozen silt-concrete *** results provide theoretical support for the interaction between pile and soil in permafrost regions.

Crystallization in supersaturated solution plays a fundamental role in a variety of natural and industrial ***,a thorough understanding of crystallization phenomena in supersaturated solution is still difficult because the real-time visualization of crystallization processes under supersaturated condition is a great ***,an electron beam-induced crystallization method was carried out in in situ liquid cell transmission electron microscopy(TEM)to visualize the crystallization of NaCl under supersaturated condition in real *** steps and behaviors in the crystallization of NaCl were captured and clarified,including the growth of NaCl nanocrystals with different morphologies,the formation of initial crystalline seeds from amorphous ion clusters,and the non-equilibrium growth behaviors caused by uneven distribution of precursor *** study provides the real-time visualization of detailed nucleation and growth behaviors in NaCl crystallization and brings an ideal strategy for investigating crystallization phenomena under supersaturated condition.

The Permian Period was a critical time interval during which various blocks of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau have experienced profound and complex paleogeographical *** supercontinent Pangea was formed to its maximum during this interval,hampering a global east-to-west trending equatorial warm ocean ***,a semi-closed Tethys Ocean warm pool formed an eastward-opening oceanic embayment of Pangea,and became an engine fostering the evolutions of organisms and environmental changes during the Paleozoic-Mesozoic *** and preserved fossil groups have proved extremely useful in understanding such changes and the evolutionary histories of the Qinghai-Tibetan *** distributed Permian deposits and fossils from various blocks of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau exhibited varied characteristics,reflecting these blocks’different paleolatitude settings and drifting *** Himalaya Tethys Zone south to the Yarlung Zangbo suture zone,located in the northern Gondwanan margin,yields fossil assemblages characterized by cold-water organisms throughout the Permian,and was affliated to those of the *** of the exotic limestone blocks within the Yarlung Zangbo suture zone are Guadalupian(Middle Permian)to Early Triassic in *** exotic limestone blocks bear fossil assemblages that have transitional affinities between the warm Tethys and cold Gondwanan regions,suggesting that they most probably represent seamount deposits in the Neo-Tethys *** the Asselian to Sakmarian(Cisuralian,also Early Permian),the Cimmerian microcontinents in the northern part of Gondwana preserved glacio-marine deposits of Asselian to Sakmarian,and contained typical Gondwana-type cold-water *** the middle Cisuralian(~290-280 Ma),the Cimmerian microcontinents rifted off from the Gondwanaland,and drifted northward allometrically due to the active magmatism of the Panjal Traps in the northern margin of the Indian *** slices of micro

Acute central nervous system injuries,including ischemic stro ke,intracerebral hemorrhage,subarachnoid hemorrhage,traumatic brain injury,and spinal co rd injury,are a major global health *** optimal therapies and improving the long-term neurological functions of patients with acute central nervous system injuries are urgent *** are susceptible to damage after acute central nervous system injury,and this leads to the release of toxic levels of reactive oxygen species,which induce cell ***,a selective form of autophagy,is crucial in eliminating redundant or damaged mitochondria during these *** evidence has highlighted the significant role of mitophagy in acute central nervous system *** this review,we provide a comprehensive overview of the process,classification,and related mechanisms of *** also highlight the recent developments in research into the role of mitophagy in various acute central nervous system injuries and drug therapies that regulate *** the final section of this review,we emphasize the potential for treating these disorders by focusing on mitophagy and suggest future research paths in this area.

Membrane permeability and intracellular diffusion of fluorescent probes determine staining selectivity of intracellular ***,the relationship between the molecular structure of fluorescent probes and their membrane permeability and intracellular distribution is poorly *** this paper,we reported a series of 1,8-naphthalimide dyes and carried out cell imaging experiments,and found that the presence of amino hydrogen in these dyes played a crucial role in their cell membrane permeability and intracellular *** secondary amino group containing compounds 1-4 show excellent membrane permeability and strong fluorescence in living *** the tertiary amine containing dyes 5 and 6 can hardly permeate the cell membrane though they show extremely similar structure with compounds *** 1 can selectively image lipid droplets by selecting the wavelength of excitation *** the specificity for lysosomes,2 and 4 have been used in long-term time-lapses imaging of lysosomal dynamics and tracking the process of lysosome-lysosome interaction,fusion and *** effect of hydrogen-containing amino substituent on the cell membrane permeability of fluorescent molecules is promising for the development of better biocompatible probes.

Addressing the challenges of passive Radio Frequency Identification(RFID)indoor localization technology in Non-Line-of-Sight(NLoS)and multipath environments,this paper presents an innovative approach by introducing a combined technology integrating an improved Kalman Filter with Space Domain Phase Difference of Arrival(SD-PDOA)and Received Signal Strength Indicator(RSSI).This methodology utilizes the distinct channel characteristics in multipath and NLoS contexts to effectively filter out interference and accurately extract localization information,thereby facilitating high precision and stability in passive RFID *** efficacy of this approach is demonstrated through detailed simulations and empirical tests conducted on a custom-built experimental platform consisting of passive RFID tags and an R420 *** findings are significant:in NLoS conditions,the four-antenna localization system achieved a notable localization accuracy of 0.25 m at a distance of 5 *** complex multipath environments,this system achieved a localization accuracy of approximately 0.5 m at a distance of 5 *** compared to conventional passive localization methods,our proposed solution exhibits a substantial improvement in indoor localization accuracy under NLoS and multipath *** research provides a robust and effective technical solution for high-precision passive indoor localization in the Internet of Things(IoT)system,marking a significant advancement in the field.

Enhancing Data Forwarding Efficiency in SIoT with Multidimensional Social Relations

Effective data communication is a crucial aspect of the Social Internet of Things(SIoT)and continues to be a significant research *** paper proposes a data forwarding algorithm based on Multidimensional Social Relations(MSRR)in SIoT to solve this *** proposed algorithm separates message forwarding into intra-and cross-community forwarding by analyzing interest traits and social connections among *** new metrics are defined:the intensity of node social relationships,node activity,and community *** the community,messages are sent by determining which node is most similar to the sender by weighing the strength of social connections and node *** a node performs cross-community forwarding,the message is forwarded to the most reasonable relay community by measuring the node activity and the connection between *** proposed algorithm was compared to three existing routing algorithms in simulation *** indicate that the proposed algorithmsubstantially improves message delivery efficiency while lessening network overhead and enhancing connectivity and coordination in the SIoT context.
