Inclusions modification by rare earth in steel and the resulting properties: A review

Rare earth(RE) elements are excellent modifiers for non-metallic inclusions that inevitably appear in steel and affect steel properties. This paper reviews the research status of inclusions modification by RE elements and the changes it cause on steel properties. First, the inclusion changes caused by RE modification are described. Generally, after adding pure RE, the main evolution of inclusions occurs as M →M + RE-Al-O → RE-Al-O + RE_(2)O_(2)S → RE_(2)O_(2)S + RE—S/RE_(2)O_(2)S + RE-O with an increase in the RE content(M represents the inclusions before RE addition). The type of final inclusion obtained after RE modification is related to the relative contents of S and O in the steel. Moreover, fine, regular, and uniformly distributed inclusions can be obtained with appropriate RE addition. However, the effectiveness of inclusions modification by adding both RE and non-RE elements is closely related to the order of their addition. Second, the applications and advantages of thermodynamic calculations in the study of RE-modified inclusions are introduced. Third, the changes in the corrosion resistance, impact properties,and other properties of steel caused by the modification of inclusions by RE are reviewed. Finally, the perspectives and trends of inclusions modified by RE elements in the steel industry are presented.

A kind of white OLED with single luminescent layer was designed, in which rubrene was doped in Liq. The structure of the devices is ITO/PVK:TPD/Liq: Rubrene/Alq3/Al. The brightness of the devices comes to 3120 cd/m2(at a driving voltage of 25 V), the CIE coordinates of the typical devices is (0.308,0.347), and the coordinates is very close to the white equi-energy point. The emitting and luminescent characteristics of the devices were discussed.

AIM To evaluate the effect of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG supernatant(LGG-s) on the expression of serotonin transporter(SERT) in rats with post-infectious irritable bowel syndrome(PI-IBS).METHODS Campylobacter jejuni 81-176(1010 CFU/m L) was used to induce intestinal infection to develop a PI-IBS model. After evaluation of the post-infectious phase by biochemical tests, Dn A agarose gel electrophoresis, abdominal withdrawal reflex(AWR) test, and the intestinal motility test, four PI-IBS groups received different concentrations of LGG-s for 4 wk. The treatments were maintained for 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 or 4.0 wk during the experiment, and the colons and brains were removed for later use each week. SERT m Rn A and protein levels were detected by real-time PCR and Western blot, *** The levels of SERT m Rn A and protein in intestinal tissue were higher in rats treated with LGG-s than in control rats and PI-IBS rats gavaged with PBS during the whole study. Undiluted LGG-s up-regulated SERT m Rn A level by 2.67 times compared with the control group by week 2, and SERT m Rn A expression kept increasing later. Double-diluted LGG-s was similar to undiluted-LGG-s, resulting in high levels of SERT m Rn A. Triple-diluted LGG-s up-regulated SERT m Rn A expression level by 6.9-times compared with the control group, but SERT m Rn A expression decreased rapidly at the end of the second week. At the first week, SERT protein levels were basically comparable in rats treated with undiluted LGG-s, double-diluted LGG-s, and triplediluted LGG-s, which were higher than those in the control group and PBS-treated PI-IBS group. SERT protein levels in the intestine were also comparable in rats treated with undiluted LGG-s, double-diluted LGG-s, and triple-diluted LGG-s by the second and third weeks. AIM： To investigate whether anti-H pylori antibodies have cross-reaction with antigens of erythrocyte membrane. METHODS： Blood samples were collected from 14 volunteers （8 positive and 6 negative for Hpylori detected by ^13C-urea breath test） of the general population. Erythrocyte membrane proteins of the subjects were examined by Western blot using anti-H pylori serum. The proteins related to the positive bands were identified by mass spectrum analysis. RESULTS： Anti-Hpylori antibodies had cross-reaction with the proteins of about 50 kDa of erythrocyte membranes in all samples independent of H pylori infection. One protein in the positive band was identified as Chain S, the crystal structure of the cytoplasmic domain of human erythrocyte Band-3 protein. CONCLUSION： Anti-HpyloH antibodies cross-react with some antigens of human erythrocyte membrane, which may provide a clue for the relationship between Hpylori infection and vascular disorders.

This paper examines the impacts of information about COVID-19 on pig farmers'production willingness by using endorsement experiments and follow-up surveys conducted in 2020 and 2021 in *** results show that,first,farmers were less willing to scale up production when they received information about *** information in 2020 that the second wave of COVID-19 might occur without a vaccine reduced farmers'willingness to scale up by 13.4%,while the information in 2021 that COVID-19 might continue to spread despite the introduction of vaccine reduced farmers'willingness by 4.4%.Second,farmers whose production was affected by COVID-19 were considerably less willing to scale up,given the access to COVID-19 ***,farmers'production willingness can predict their actual production behavior.

As modern communication technology advances apace,the digital communication signals identification plays an important role in cognitive radio networks,the communication monitoring and management *** has become a promising solution to this problem due to its powerful modeling capability,which has become a consensus in academia and ***,because of the data-dependence and inexplicability of AI models and the openness of electromagnetic space,the physical layer digital communication signals identification model is threatened by adversarial *** examples pose a common threat to AI models,where well-designed and slight perturbations added to input data can cause wrong ***,the security of AI models for the digital communication signals identification is the premise of its efficient and credible *** this paper,we first launch adversarial attacks on the end-to-end AI model for automatic modulation classifi-cation,and then we explain and present three defense mechanisms based on the adversarial *** we present more detailed adversarial indicators to evaluate attack and defense ***,a demonstration verification system is developed to show that the adversarial attack is a real threat to the digital communication signals identification model,which should be paid more attention in future research.

Laser tracers are a three-dimensional coordinate measurement system that are widely used in industrial *** propose a geometric error identification method based on multi-station synchronization laser tracers to enable the rapid and high-precision measurement of geometric errors for gantry-type computer numerical control(CNC)machine *** method also improves on the existing measurement efficiency issues in the single-base station measurement method and multi-base station time-sharing measurement *** consider a three-axis gantry-type CNC machine tool,and the geometric error mathematical model is derived and established based on the combination of screw theory and a topological analysis of the machine kinematic *** four-station laser tracers position and measurement points are realized based on the multi-point positioning principle.A self-calibration algorithm is proposed for the coordinate calibration process of a laser tracer using the Levenberg-Marquardt nonlinear least squares method,and the geometric error is solved using Taylor’s first-order linearization *** experimental results show that the geometric error calculated based on this modeling method is comparable to the results from the Etalon laser *** a volume of 800 mm×1000 mm×350 mm,the maximum differences of the linear,angular,and spatial position errors were 2.0μm,2.7μrad,and 12.0μm,respectively,which verifies the accuracy of the proposed *** research proposes a modeling method for the precise measurement of errors in machine tools,and the applied nature of this study also makes it relevant both to researchers and those in the industrial sector.

In the process of software development,the ability to localize faults is crucial for improving the efficiency of *** speaking,detecting and repairing errant behavior at an early stage of the development cycle considerably reduces costs and development *** have tried to utilize various methods to locate the faulty ***,failing test cases usually account for a small portion of the test suite,which inevitably leads to the class-imbalance phenomenon and hampers the effectiveness of fault ***,in this work,we propose a new fault localization approach named *** obtaining dynamic execution through test cases,ContextAug traces these executions to build an information model;subsequently,it constructs a failure context with propagation dependencies to intersect with new model-domain failing test samples synthesized by the minimum variability of the minority feature *** contrast to traditional test generation directly from the input domain,ContextAug seeks a new perspective to synthesize failing test samples from the model domain,which is much easier to augment test *** conducting empirical research on real large-sized programs with 13 state-of-the-art fault localization approaches,ContextAug could significantly improve fault localization effectiveness with up to 54.53%.Thus,ContextAug is verified as able to improve fault localization effectiveness.
