Among the crop production factors,preceding crop and tillage management affect the sustainable use of soil resources and ultimately crop growth and *** study aimed at investigating the impact of preceding winter crops(grass or legume)and different tillage systems on forage yield,quality and nutritive values of three summer grass(Sudan grass,pearl millet and teosinte)and two legume forage crops(cowpea and guar)under arid *** results exhibited that growing forage crops after legumes(as berseem clover)produced the highest fresh and dry forage yields and quality attributes compared with grasses(as wheat)with the exception of crude fiber content,which was ***,tillage practices showed positive impact on forage yields and quality *** maximum forage yields and quality parameters were recorded under conventional tillage(CT)practice compared with reduced tillage(RT)and no-tillage(NT)*** the evaluated crops,the highest yields of fresh forage,dry forage,crude fiber,crude protein and total digestible nutrient were exhibited by grass forage crops(Sudan grass,pearl millet and teosinte),whereas the highest crude protein content and the digestible energy values were produced by legume forage crops(cowpea and guar).The maximum fresh forage,dry forage,crude fiber,crude protein,total digestible nutrient and digestible crude protein yields were produced by pearl millet followed by Sudan grass under CT and RT after berseem *** highest net return was recorded by sowing pearl millet after berseem clover and applying CT followed by RT practices,which could be recommended for the commercial ***,it could be assumed that the combination of growing grass forage crops after legume crops under CT or RT systems could enhance forage crop yield and quality with an improvement in soil properties for sustainable agriculture with low cost and the highest net income.

Cloud computing has taken over the high-performance distributed computing area,and it currently provides on-demand services and resource polling over the *** a result of constantly changing user service demand,the task scheduling problem has emerged as a critical analytical topic in cloud *** primary goal of scheduling tasks is to distribute tasks to available processors to construct the shortest possible schedule without breaching precedence *** and schedules of tasks substantially influence system operation in a heterogeneous multiprocessor *** diverse processes inside the heuristic-based task scheduling method will result in varying makespan in the heterogeneous computing *** a result,an intelligent scheduling algorithm should efficiently determine the priority of every subtask based on the resources necessary to lower the *** research introduced a novel efficient scheduling task method in cloud computing systems based on the cooperation search algorithm to tackle an essential task and schedule a heterogeneous cloud computing *** basic idea of thismethod is to use the advantages of meta-heuristic algorithms to get the optimal *** assess our algorithm’s performance by running it through three scenarios with varying numbers of *** findings demonstrate that the suggested technique beats existingmethods NewGenetic Algorithm(NGA),Genetic Algorithm(GA),Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA),Gravitational Search Algorithm(GSA),and hybrid heuristic and Genetic(hhG)by 7.9%,2.1%,8.8%,7.7%,3.4%respectively according to makespan.

The incorporation of graphite particles into AA6016 aluminum alloy matrix to fabricate metal/ceramic composites is still a great challenge and various parameters should be considered. In this study, dense AA6016 aluminum alloy/（0-20 wt%） graphite composites have successfully been fabricated by powder metallurgy process. At first, the mixed aluminum and graphite powders were cold compacted at 200 MPa and then sintered at 500 ℃ for 1 h followed by hot extrusion at 450 ℃. The influence of ceramic phases（free graphite and in-situ formed carbides） on microstructure, physical and mechanical properties of the produced composites were finally investigated. The results show that the fabricated composites have a relative density of over 98%. SEM observations indicate that the graphite has a good dispersion in the alloy matrix even at high graphite content. hardness of all the produced composites was higher than that of aluminum alloy matrix. No cracks were observed at strain less than 23% for all hot extruded *** strength, reduction in height, ultimate tensile stress, fracture stress, yield stress, and fracture strain of all Al/graphite composites were determined by high precision second order equations. Both compressive and ultimate tensile strengths have been correlated to microstructure constituents with focusing on the in-situ formed ceramic phases, silicon carbide（SiC） and aluminum carbide（Al4 C3）. The ductile fracture mode of the produced composites became less dominant with increasing free graphite content and in-situ formed carbides. Wear resistance of Al/graphite composites was increased with increasing graphite content. Aluminum/20 wt% graphite composite exhibited superior wear resistance over that of AA6016 aluminum alloy.

Plants have to cope with several abiotic stresses,including salinity and heavymetals(hMs).Under these stresses,several extracts have been used as effective natural biostimulants,however,the use of Spirulina platensis(SP)extract(SPE)remains *** effects of SPE were evaluated as soil addition(SA)and/or foliar spraying(FS)on antioxidant defenses and hMs content of common bean grown in saline soil contaminated with ***(40 or 80 mg SPE/hill added as SA or 20 or 40 mg SPE/plant added as FS)or integrative(SA+FS)applications of SPE showed significant improvements in the following order:SA-80+FS-40>SA-80+FS-20>SA-40+FS-40>SA-40+FS-20>SA-80>SA-40>FS-40>FS-20>***,the integrative SA+FS with 40 mg SP/plant was the most effective treatment in increasing plant growth and production,overcoming stress effects and minimizing contamination of the edible *** significantly increased plant growth(74%–185%)and yield(107%–227%)by enhancing net photosynthetic rate(78.5%),stomatal conductance(104%),transpiration rate(124%),and contents of carotenoids(60.0%),chlorophylls(49%–51%),and NPK(271%–366%).These results were concurrent with the marked reductions in malondialdehyde(61.6%),hydrogen peroxide(42.2%),nickel(91%–94%),lead(80%–9%),and cadmium(74%–91%)contents due to the improved contents of glutathione(87.1%),ascorbate(37.0%),andα-tocopherol(77.2%),and the activities of catalase(18.1%),ascorbate peroxidase(18.3%),superoxide dismutase(192%),and glutathione reductase(52.2%)as reinforcing ***,this most effective treatment is recommended to mitigate the stress effects of salinity and hMs on common bean production while minimizing hMs in the edible part.

The design of an antenna requires a careful selection of its parameters to retain the desired ***,this task is time-consuming when the traditional approaches are employed,which represents a significant *** the other hand,machine learning presents an effective solution to this challenge through a set of regression models that can robustly assist antenna designers to find out the best set of design parameters to achieve the intended *** this paper,we propose a novel approach for accurately predicting the bandwidth of metamaterial *** proposed approach is based on employing the recently emerged guided whale optimization algorithm using adaptive particle swarm optimization to optimize the parameters of the long-short-term memory(LSTM)deep *** optimized network is used to retrieve the metamaterial bandwidth given a set of *** addition,the superiority of the proposed approach is examined in terms of a comparison with the traditional multilayer perceptron(ML),Knearest neighbors(K-NN),and the basic LSTM in terms of several evaluation criteria such as root mean square error(RMSE),mean absolute error(MAE),and mean bias error(MBE).Experimental results show that the proposed approach could achieve RMSE of(0.003018),MAE of(0.001871),and MBE of(0.000205).These values are better than those of the other competing models.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of hydroxysafflor yellow A(hSYA)on thioacetamide-induced liver ***:Thioacetamide was administered to rats intraperitoneally in doses of 200 mg/kg twice a week for 12 ***-intoxicated rats were given silymarin(50 mg/kg)or hSYA(5 mg/kg)orally every day for 8 *** enzymes,fibrosis markers,histological changes as well as immunohistochemistry of TNF-α,IL-6,p21,α-SMA,and caspase-3 were *** effect of hSYA on hSC-T6 activation/proliferation and apoptosis was also determined in ***:hSYA decreased liver enzymes,TNF-α,IL-6,and p21 expressions,hepatic PDGF-B,TIMP-1,TGF-β1,and hydroxyproline levels,as well as fibrosis score(S2 vs.S4)compared to the thioacetamide *** also downregulatedα-SMA while increasing caspase-3 ***,at 500μg/mL,hSYA had only a slightly suppressive effect on hSC proliferation,with a 9.5%***,it significantly reduced TGF-β1,inhibitedα-SMA expression,induced caspase-3 expression,and promoted cell ***:hSYA may be a potential therapeutic agent for delaying and reversing the progression of liver *** research on hSYA at higher doses and for a longer period is warranted.

This study examines the large amount of agricultural waste produced in Egypt between 2010 and 2019 by analysing data from various departments within the Agriculture *** also provides a comprehensive database on the biomass available from agricultural waste in Egypt and its potential applications for producing power,heat and chemical *** biomass-pyrolysis systems powered by solar energy are used,research demonstrates the potential to convert agricultural waste into a variety of chemical *** approach utilizes solar energy,a clean and renewable source,and has wide-ranging industrial and power generation *** Egypt’s reliance on agriculture,the country currently utilizes little biomass for energy production and has not previously used it as a source for creating chemical products,which could potentially save on the imported oil used in these *** findings of the study are graphically presented using histograms,pie charts,*** overall production of residues reached the 30-Mt level in *** it contains the most rice-cultivated land,Dakahlia(Lower Egypt region)produces the highest percentage of the total residue(37.17%).Qena governorate(Upper Egypt region)produces 1.14 metric tons of residues,with sugarcane accounting for 20.3%of the total.

herein we reported the synthesis of a novel series of neocryptolepine（5-methyl-5h-indolo[2,3-b]quinoline） derivatives containing different substituents at Cll using methyl 1h-indole-3-carboxylate and N-methylaniline as starting material. The target 21 compounds were evaluated for their axltibacterial activity in vitro against gram-positive bacteria（B, subtilis and S. aureus） and gram-negative bacteria（E, coli and ***）. Almost all the tested compounds showed moderate to high activities against the four bacterial strains at the minimum inhibitory concentrations（MICs） of 1-10μg/mL. The obtained results suggest that part of the novel synthetic neocryptolepine derivatives exhibit significant antibacterial effect against all the tested organisms.

Objective:To investigate the antifibrotic role of rosmarinic acid(RA),a natural polyphenolic compound,on hSCs activation/proliferation and apoptosis in vitro and in vivo. Methods:The impact of RA on stellate cell line(hSC-T6) proliferation,activation and apoptosis was assessed along with its safety on primary hepatocytes. In vivo,rats were divided into:(i) normal;(ii) thioacetamide(TAA)-intoxicated rats for 12 weeks;(iii) TAA+silymarin or(iv) TAA+RA. At the end of experiment,liver functions,oxidative stress,inflammatory and profibrogenic markers,tissue inhibitor metalloproteinases type-1(TIMP-1) and hydroxyproline(hP) levels were evaluated. Additionally,liver histopathology and immunohistochemical examinations of alpha-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA),caspase-3 and proliferation cellular nuclear antigen(PCNA) were determined. Results:RA exhibited anti-proliferative effects on cultured hSCs in a time and concentration dependent manner showing an IC50 of 276 μg/mL and 171 μg/mL for 24 h and 48 h,respectively,with morphological reversion of activated stellate cell morphology to quiescent form. It significantly improved ALT,AST,oxidative stress markers and reduced TIMP-1,hP levels,inflammatory markers and fibrosis score(S1 vs S4). Furthermore,reduction in α-SMA plus elevation in caspase-3 expressions of hSCs in vitro and in vivo associated with an inhibition in proliferation of damaged hepatocytes were recorded. Conclusions:RA impeded the progression of liver fibrosis through inhibition of hSCs activation/proliferation and induction of apoptosis with preservation of hepatic architecture.
