In the field of pipeline inner wall inspection,the snake robot demonstrates significant advantages over other inspection *** a simple traveling wave or meandering motion will suffice for inspecting the inner wall of small-diameter pipes,comprehensively and meticulously inspecting the inner wall of large-diameter pipes requires the snake robot to adopt a helical gait that closely adheres to the inner *** review of existing literature indicates that most research and development on the helical gait of snake robots has focused on the outer surface of cylinders,with very few studies dedicated to developing a helical gait specifically for the inspection of the inner wall of ***,in this study,we propose a helical gait that is suitable for the inner wall of pipes and meets the requirements of gas pipeline *** helical gait is designed using the backbone curve ***,we create a mathematical model for a circular helix curve with constant curvature and torsion,ensuring it is applicable to a snake robot prototype in a laboratory *** calculate the joint angles required for two conical spiral curves with variable curvature and torsion,establish a new model,and define the physical significance of the specific *** ensure the feasibility of the proposed gait,we conduct experiments involving meandering and traveling wave motions to verify the communication and control between the host computer and the snake *** upon this foundation,we further validate the mathematical model of the complex helical motion gait through simulation *** findings provide a theoretical basis for realizing helical movement with a real snake robot.

Effectiveness of Acupoint Application in Patients with Pharyngeal Pain: Evidence from CHUNBO, A Prospective Real-World Study

Objective: To assess the outcomes after acupoint application in patients with pharyngeal pain in a real-world settings, and analyze the characteristics of effective population and prescription characteristics of acupoint application. Methods: Based on CHUNBO platform, patients with pharyngeal pain who were candidates for acupoint application on the basis of physician-evaluation, were enrolled in a nationwide, prospective, 69-week multicenter observational study from August 2020 to February 2022. Propensity score matching(PSM) was used to match the confounding factors and the association rules were used to analyze the characteristics of effective population and prescription characteristics of acupoint application. Outcome assessments included the disappearance rate of pharyngeal pain(within 3, 7, and 14 days), disappearance time of pharyngeal pain, as well as adverse events. Results: Of 7,699 enrolled participants, 6,693(86.9%) received acupoint application and 1,450(21.7%) with non-acupoint application. After PSM, there were 1,004 patients each in the application group(AG) and non-application group(NAG). The disappearance rate of pharyngeal pain in the AG at 3, 7, and 14 days were all higher than those in the NAG(Plication group with tonsil diseases was 2.19 times higher than that in the NAG(Plied to RN 8 most frequently(support 84.39%). Methamphetamine addiction is a brain disorder characterized by persistent drug-seeking behavior, which has been linked with aberrant synaptic plasticity. An increasing body of evidence suggests that aberrant synaptic plasticity is associated with the activation of the NOD-like receptor family pyrin domain containing-3(NLRP3) inflammasome. 3′-Deoxyadenosin, an active component of the Chinese fungus Cordyceps militaris, has strong anti-inflammatory effects. However, whether 3′-deoxyadenosin attenuates methamphetamine-induced aberrant synaptic plasticity via an NLRP3-mediated inflammatory mechanism remains unclear. We first observed that 3′-deoxyadenosin attenuated conditioned place preference scores in methamphetamine-treated mice and decreased the expression of c-fos in hippocampal neurons. Furthermore, we found that 3′-deoxyadenosin reduced the aberrant potentiation of glutamatergic transmission and restored the methamphetamine-induced impairment of synaptic plasticity. We also found that 3′-deoxyadenosin decreased the expression of NLRP3 and neuronal injury. Importantly, a direct NLRP3 deficiency reduced methamphetamine-induced seeking behavior, attenuated the impaired synaptic plasticity, and prevented neuronal damage. Finally, NLRP3 activation reversed the effect of 3′-deoxyadenosin on behavior and synaptic plasticity, suggesting that the anti-neuroinflammatory mechanism of 3′-deoxyadenosin on aberrant synaptic plasticity reduces methamphetamine-induced seeking behavior. Taken together, 3′-deoxyadenosin alleviates methamphetamine-induced aberrant synaptic plasticity and seeking behavior by inhibiting the NLRP3 inflammasome.

Ventilation fans are one of the most important pieces of equipment in coal mines. Their performance plays an important role in the safety of staff and production. Given the actual requirements of coal mine production,we instituted a research project on the measurement methods of key performance parameters such as wind pressure,amount of ventilation and power. At the end a virtual instrument for mine ventilation fans performance evaluation was developed using a USB interface. The practical performance and analytical results of our experiments show that it is feasible,reliable and effective to use the proposed instrumentation for mine ventilation performance evaluation.

Parthenogenesis,the development of unfertilized egg cells into embryos,is a key component of ***(BABY BOOM),a crucial regulator of embryogenesis in Arabidopsis,possesses the capacity to shift nutritional growth toward reproductive ***,the mechanisms underlying AtBBM-induced parthenogenesis remain largely unexplored in dicot *** findings revealed that in order to uphold the order of sexual reproduction,the embryo-specific promoter activity of AtBBM as well as repressors that inhibit its expression in egg cells combine to limiting its ability to induce ***,AtRKD5,a RWPRK domain-containing(RKD)transcription factor,binds to the 3'end of AtBBM and is identified as one of the inhibitory factors for AtBBM expression in the egg *** the atrkd5 mutant,we successfully achieved enhanced ectopic expression of AtBBM in egg cells,resulting in the generation of haploid offspring via parthenogenesis at a rate of 0.28%.Furthermore,by introducing chimeric Arabidopsis and rice BBM genes into the egg cell,we achieved a significant 4.6-fold enhancement in haploid induction through the atdmp8/9 *** findings lay a strong foundation for further exploration of the BBM-mediated parthenogenesis mechanism and the improvement of haploid breeding efficiency mediated by the dmp8/9 mutant.
