Pulmonary surfactant is a lipid-protein complex secreted by alveolar typeⅡepithelial cells and is essential for the maintenance of the delicate structure of mammalian alveoli to promote efficient gas exchange across the air-liquid *** Golgi apparatus plays an important role in pulmonary surfactant modification and secretory ***,the physiological function of the Golgi apparatus in the transport of pulmonary surfactants is *** the present study,deletion of GM130,which encodes for a matrix protein of the cis-Golgi cisternae,was shown to induce the disruption of the Golgi structure leading to impaired secretion of lung surfactant proteins and ***,the results of in vitro and in vivo analysis indicated that the loss of GM130 resulted in trapping of Sftpa in the endoplasmic reticulum,Sftpb and Sftpc accumulation in the Golgi apparatus,and an increase in the compensatory secretion of ***,global and epithelial-specific GM130 knockout in mice resulted in an enlargement of alveolar airspace and an increase in alveolar epithelial autophagy;however,surfactant repletion partially rescued the enlarged airspace defects in GM130-deficient ***,our results demonstrate that GM130 and the mammalian Golgi apparatus play a critical role in the control of surfactant protein secretion in pulmonary epithelial cells.

Two-dimensional transition metal carbide/nitride(MXene)-based textiles have been developed in many fields;however,the high sensitivity to oxidation and weak interfacial bonding hinder their ***,we present a strategy for the preparation of a highly antioxidative MXene@gallic acid(MXene@GA,MG)hybrid dispersion,and further covalently grafted it onto carboxylated cotton fabric through interaction with metal ions(Fe^(3+))for fabricating wearable multifunctional *** to the cross-linking effect of Fe^(3+)and the remarkable antioxidant activity of natural polyphenol GA,the MG coatings firmly adhere to the textile surfaces and can withstand conventional washing,exhibiting favorable service stability and potential application ***,the obtained MG-decorated textile has the inherent characteristics of good breathability,moisture permeability,flexibility,and biocompatibility of the original fabric,which are conducive to the wearability of smart ***,by utilizing the outstanding conductivity(~330 S/m)and photothermal convertibility of the MG coating,the functional textile achieves high electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding efficiency(~35 dB),excellent dual-driven(Joule and solar)heating warmth retention,and infrared thermal *** to the green and scalable preparation process,favorable durability,excellent comfort,and multifunctionality,the MG-decorated textiles are anticipated to be promising candidates for the next generation of smart wearable personal protective clothing.

In this study,the Huadian oil shale(HD-R)and Balikun oil shale(BLK-R)were pyrolyzed in a fixed-bed pyrolyzer at 360–530℃.Based on the migration and conversion of organic carbon,their pyrolysis characteristics were investigated and *** aliphaticity of Huadian kerogen(HD-K)and Balikun kerogen(BLK-K)are 80.53%and 52.83%,*** HD-K contains more C=O,which will render the depolymerization and decomposition of kerogen to occur at low temperatures to produce volatile ***,the cumulative conversion of the Huadian shale oil is greater than the Balikun shale oil at 390–435℃.The aliphatic carbons of the BLK-K are mainly present as short methylene chains attached to aromatic *** will leave the kerogen matrix with the breakage of relatively weaker CeC bonds at β-sites from aromatic rings at medium *** contrast,aliphatic carbons of the HD-K are dominated by long aliphatic *** temperature is necessary to break other stronger CeC to form shale oil and gaseous species,which appears to make the oil accumulation conversion of BLK-R exceed that of HD-R at 450–510℃.

DEAR EDITOR,The Chinese tree shrew(Tupaia belangeri chinensis)is a small mammal closely related to *** has a small body size,low maintenance cost,and a relatively short reproductive cycle,all of which has made it the ideal model for the study of a variety of human *** this study,we compared the anatomy of the skin of the Chinese tree shrew with that of the rhesus macaque,mouse and human,with the intention of providing the basic data required for the creation of skin disease models using this *** sections,hematoxylin-eosin(H&E)staining,masson staining and immunohistochemical techniques were used to examine the dorsal skin structure of the Chinese tree *** epidermis was shown to be composed of 1–2 layers of *** were hair follicles,sebaceous glands and sweat glands in the dermis and the subcutaneous tissue,with apocrine glands being more common than eccrine *** Keratin5(KRT5)and Keratin10(KRT10)were expressed in the skin of the Chinese tree shrew,with a localization in the ***,the skin morphology and histology of the Chinese tree shrew was basically the same as that of the *** propose that the Chinese tree shrew has a strong potential to be used for creating animal models to help elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying a variety of skin diseases.

The harpin protein Hpa1 produced by the rice bacterial blight pathogen promotes plant growth and induces plant resistance to pathogens and insect pests. The region of 10-42 residues （Hpa110-42） in the Hpa1 sequence is critical as the isolated Hpa110-42 fragment is 1.3-7.5-fold more effective than the full length in inducing plant growth and resistance. Here we report that transgenic expression of Hpa110-42 in wheat induces resistance to English grain aphid, a dominant species of wheat aphids. Hpa110-42-induced resistance is effective to inhibit the aphid behavior in plant preference at the initial colonization stage and repress aphid performances in the reproduction, nymph growth, and instar development on transgenic plants. The resistance characters are correlated with enhanced expression of defense-regulatory genes （EIN2, PP2-A, and GSL10） and consistent with induced expression of defense response genes （Hel, PDF1.2, PR-1b, and PR-2b）. As a result, aphid infestations are alleviated in transgenic plants. The level of Hpa110-42-induced resistance in regard to repression of aphid infestations is equivalent to the effect of chemical control provided by an insecticide. These results suggested that the defensive role of Hpa110-42 can be integrated into breeding germplasm of the agriculturally signiifcant crop with a great potential of the agricultural application.

The effects of Timentin and cefotaxime （Cef） on shoot regeneration of the London plane tree （Platanus acerifolia Willd.） and their use for the suppression ofAgrobacterium tumefaciens in Agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation were compared. Shoot regeneration was significantly reduced on the media with Cef at concentrations from 100 to 500 mg·L^-1. Timentin showed negative effect on plant regeneration at concentrations of 100 and 500 mg·L^-1; however, 300 mg·L^-1 Timentin was shown to facilitate shoot regeneration significantly and the regeneration frequency increased from 64% （control） to 88%. Effective suppression of A. tumefaciens could be obtained with 500 mg·L^-1 Cef, but plant regeneration was completely inhibited at this level. The A. tumefaciens on infected P. acerifolia leaf tissues was visually undetectable after three subcultures on a medium with 300 mg·L^-1 Timentin. Considering the effect of Cef and Timentin on plant regeneration and suppression of Agrobacteria, Timentin at 300 mg·L^-1 is the preferred application in .4. tumefaciens-mediated transformation ofP acerifolia.

The release characteristics of CH_(4),H_(2),CO and CO_(2) from iron coke hot briquette(ICHB)during carbonization were *** results show that compared with briquette without iron ore,Fe_(3)O_(4) can inhibit the release rate of H2 and promote the production of CO and CO_(2).In addition,when the heating rate increases from 3 to 7℃/min,the release rates of CH4 and H2 increase,while the release rates of CO and CO_(2) first increase and then *** carbonization process of ICHB was segmented,and corresponding kinetic analysis was carried *** results show that the activation energy of StageⅡand StageⅣis higher in the carbonization process of ICHB,and the active pyrolysis of coal and the reduction of iron ore occur in these two *** addition,the effect of heating rate on the kinetic parameters of ICHB carbonization process was *** was found that when the heating rate increased,the reaction activation energy of StageⅣdecreased first and then increased,which was consistent with the release law of CO and CO_(2).The analysis showed that the increase in heating rate leads to more reactions at higher temperatures,resulting in an increase in the release rate of some *** addition,thermal hysteresis can also cause some processes to fail to fully react at the end of *** is also found that the apparent activation energy and preexponential factor have kinetic compensation effect during the car-bonization of ICHB.
