Introduction With recent advances in laparoscopic-surgery techniques and neoadjuvant therapy options,there have been improvements in sphincter-preservation outcomes in patients with low rectal cancer[1-3].However,several issues remain controversial,such as the incidence of anastomotic leakage,the local recurrence rate,and anal-function outcome[4-5].Moreover,prophylactic stoma at the end of sphincter-preserving surgery is necessary to prevent anastomotic leakage,especially in patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy[7].To avoid prophylactic colostomy and decrease excessive expense,we developed a new method of overlapped end-to-end anastomosis for treating low rectal cancer—a technique referred to as‘oversleeve anastomosis’.

In this study,we revisit the previous mass relations of mirror nuclei by considering 1/N-and 1/Z-dependent terms and the shell effect across a *** root-mean-squared deviation is 66 keV for 116 nuclei with neutron number N≥10,as com-pared with experimental data compiled in the AME2020 *** predicted mass excesses of 173 proton-rich nuclei,including 98 unknown nuclei,are tabulated in the Supplemental Material herein with competitive accuracy.

Composite electrodes prepared by cation exchange resins and activated carbon(AC)were used to adsorb Ⅴ(Ⅳ)in capacitive deionization(CDI).The electrode made of middle resin size(D860/AC M)had the largest specific surface area and mesoporous content than two other composite *** analysis showed that D860/AC M presents higher specific capacitance and electrical double layer capacitor than the others,and significantly lower internal diffusion ***,D860/AC M exhibits the highest adsorption capacity and rate of Ⅴ(Ⅳ)among three *** intra-particle diffusion model fits well in the initial adsorption stage,while the liquid film diffusion model is more suitable for fitting at the later *** pseudo-second-order kinetic model is suited for the entire adsorption *** adsorption of Ⅴ(Ⅳ)on the composite electrode follows that of the Freundlich *** analysis indicates that the adsorption of Ⅴ(Ⅳ)is an exothermic process with entropy reduction,and the electric field force plays a dominant role in the CDI *** work aims to improve our understanding of the ion adsorption behaviors and mechanisms on the composite electrodes in CDI.

We investigate the problem of coordinated chaos control on an urban expressway based on pinning synchronization of complex networks. A node coupling model of an urban expressway based on complex networks has been established using the cell transmission model（CTM）. The pinning controller corresponding to multi-ramp coordinated controller was designed by using the delayed feedback control（DFC） method, whose objective is to realize periodical orbits from chaotic states. The concrete pinning control nodes corresponding to the subsystems of regulating the inflows from the on-ramps to the mainline were obtained and the parameters of the controller were optimized by using the stability theory of complex networks to ensure the network synchronization. The validity of the proposed coordinated chaos control method was proven via the simulation experiment. The results of the examples indicated that the order motion on urban expressway can be realized, the wide-moving traffic jam can be suppressed, and the operating efficiency is superior to that of the traditional control methods.

Garvey-Kelson mass relations connect nuclear masses of neighboring nuclei within high accuracy, and provide us with convenient tools in predicting unknown masses by extrapolations from existent experimental data. In this paper we investigate optimal"channels" of the Garvey-Kelson relations in extrapolation to the unknown regions, and tabulate our predicted masses by using these optimized channels of the Garvey-Kelson relations.

The growth, expansion and collapse of a bubble in a narrow tube are studied using both experiments and numerical simulations. In experiment, the bubble is generated by an electric spark in a water tank and recorded by a highspeed camera system. In numerical simulation, the evolution of the bubble is solved by adopting axisymmetric boundary integral equation, considering the surface tension effect. The results of experiments and numerical simulations are compared and good agreements are achieved. Both of them show that a counter-jet forms and penetrates the bubble at the end of the collapse stage, before a ring type bubble forms. Under the attraction of the tube wall due to Bjerknes force, a ring jet is generated, pointing towards the tube. On the basis of this, some physical quantities like the pressure on the tube wall and kinetic energy are calculated in a case study. The effects of tube diameters and tube lengths on the bubble＇s behaviors are also investigated.

Although chalcogenide anodes possess higher potassium storage capacity than intercalated-based graphite,their drastic volume change and the irreversible electrochemical reactions still hinder the effective electron/ion transfer during the potassiation/depotassiation *** solve the above problems,this article proposes the synthesis of a lamellar nanostructure where graphene nanosheets are embedded with SnSb_(2)Se_(4)nanoparticles(SnSb_(2)Se_(4)/GNS).In the product,fine monodisperse SnSb_(2)Se_(4)nanoparticles are coupled with graphene nanosheets to form a porous network framework,which can effectively mitigate the drastic volume changes during electrode reactions and guarantee efficient potassium-ion storage through the synergistic interactions among multiple *** electrochemical analyses prove that SnSb_(2)Se_(4)inherits the advantages of the binary Sb2Se3 and SnSe while avoiding their disadvantages,confirming the synergistic effect of the ternary–chalcogenide *** tested for potassium storage,the obtained composite delivers a high specific capacity of 368.5 mAh g^(-1)at 100 mA g^(-1)and a stable cycle performance of 265.8 mAh g^(-1)at 500 mA g^(-1)over 500 ***,the potassium iron hexacyanoferrate cathode and the SnSb_(2)Se_(4)/GNS anode are paired to fabricate the potassium-ion full cell,which shows excellent cyclic *** conclusion,this strategy employs atomic doping and interface interaction,which provides new insights for the design of high-rate electrode materials.

Highly reactive iron coke hot briquette(ICHB)prepared by carbonizing the agglomerate of iron-bearing substance and blended coals is regarded as an alternative fuel to mitigate carbon emission and energy consumption of blast ***,the reduction process of iron-bearing burden is extremely crucial for blast furnace *** effects of ICHB on the non-isothermal reduction process of iron-bearing burden with different reduction properties were thus experimentally studied under the conditions of simulated blast furnace lump zone(below 1100°C),and the related mechanism was discussed and *** results showed that the non-isothermal reduction process of iron-bearing burden is promoted by adding *** the charging ratio of ICHB is increased from 0%to 30%,the reduction degree of pellet is increased from 22.91%to 36.62%,but the increased amplitude is leveled ***,the reduction degree of sinter is raised from 35.10%to 93.33%.It is also indicated that the promotion effect of ICHB on the non-isothermal reduction of iron-bearing burden depends on the reduction property of *** with the burden with poor reduction performance(such as pellet 1),the promotion is more significant for the burden with good reduction property(such as sinter 1)since the reduction reaction of iron oxide in iron-bearing burden and the gasification of carbon in ICHB are remarkably reinforced each *** practical application of ICHB in blast furnace should be utilized with highly reductive iron-bearing burden.
