Background:Tamoxifen is a non-steroidal oestrogen receptor *** has strong anti-estrogenic activity on oestrogen receptor 2 in the breast *** is the treatment of choice in breast cancer cases following surgery and radiotherapy,it is the most potent weapon against breast *** stages of hormone-dependent breast cancer are currently treated with ***-term tamoxifen therapy may cause hepatotoxicity which would perclude the use of *** this study was done to determine whether ginger has a role in protecting liver toxicity caused by ***:Twenty female albino rats(SD)were divided into 4 *** group formed of five rats:Group I:Serves as control group received normal rodent diet and water,GroupⅡ:Received ginger powder(200 mg/kg)dissolved in normal saline,orally daily for 6 weeks,GroupⅢ:received TAM at a dose of 20 mg/kg daily for 6 weeks orally GroupⅣ:Received TAM(20 mg/kg)then after 2 hrs they are orally given Ginger powder(200 mg/kg)daily for 6 ***:Tamoxifen 20 mg/kg/day caused hepatotoxicity in *** ginger is added to tamoxifen there is no development of hepatotoxic features like:marked sinusoidal congestion in the lobules and lab parameters showed decrease in serum AST and ALT levels when compared to tamoxifen group ***:Ginger supplementation would reduce the incidence of hepatotoxicity&related adverse drug reactions among breast cancer patient on therapy.

Structural evolution-enabled BiFeO3 modulated by strontium doping with enhanced dielectric,optical and superparamagnetic properties by a modified sol-gel method

Multiferroic(BFO)nanoparticles doped with strontium with the general formula Bi1-xSrx FeO3(x=0,0.3,0.5,0.7)were synthesized using a modified sol-gel auto-combustion *** structural,electrical,optical,and magnetic properties of the samples are *** structural analysis,carried out using the x-ray powder diffraction technique,shows a structural transition from rhombohedral(R-3c)to cubic(Pm-3m)for the doping amount of strontium(Sr)equal to x=*** analysis of the prepared samples were carried out using scanning electron microscopy(SEM).Frequency-dependent dielectric constant and ac conductivity were *** doped samples,with improved dielectric properties,can be used to fabricate different optoelectronic *** dielectric dispersion and broad relaxation were exhibited by all the ***–Cole plots were employed as an effective tool to study the dispersion parameters,namely,the optical dielectric constant,static dielectric constant,relaxation time,and spreading *** activation energy was calculated from the relaxation peaks and Cole–Cole plots,which were found to be compatible with each *** bandgap of the samples was calculated using diffuse reflectance spectral(DRS)*** and strong photoluminescence in the IR region was observed in the samples,similar to ZnO,which was reported for the first ***-temperature and low-temperature magnetization studies point towards the superparamagnetic nature of the samples,with an improvement in magnetic properties with *** antiferromagnetic behavior of bulk bismuth ferrite transforms to superparamagnetic in nature for both pure and Sr-substituted bismuth ferrite nanoparticles due to the close dimensions of crystallite size with magnetic domains leading to the break-down of the frustrated spin cycloidal moment.

Relationship between CME dynamics and solar flare plasma

The relationship between the velocity of CMEs and the plasma temperature of the associated X-ray solar flares is investigated. The velocity of CMEs increases with plasma temperature （R = 0.82） and photon index below the break energy （R = 0.60） of X-ray flares. The heating of the coronal plasma appears to be significant with respect to the kinetics of a CME from the reconnection region where the flare also occurs. We propose that the initiation and velocity of CMEs perhaps depend upon the dominant process of conversion of the magnetic field energy of the active region to heating/accelerating the coronal plasma in the reconnected loops. Results show that a flare and the associated CME are two components of one energy release system, perhaps, magnetic field free energy.

Regulatory role of long non coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in neurological disorders:From novel biomarkers to promising therapeutic strategies

Long non coding RNAs(lncRNAs) are non-protein or low-protein coding transcripts that contain more than 200 nucleotides. They representing a large share of the cell’s transcriptional output, demonstrate functional attributes viz. tissue-specific expression, determination of cell fate, controlled expression, RNA processing and editing, dosage compensation, genomic imprinting, conserved evolutionary traits etc. These long non coding variants are well associated with pathogenicity of various diseases including the neurological disorders like Alzheimer’s disease, schizophrenia, Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease etc. Neurological disorders are widespread and there knowing the underlying mechanisms become crucial. The lncRNAs take part in the pathogenesis by a plethora of mechanisms like decoy, scaffold, mi-RNA sequestrator, histone modifiers and in transcriptional interference. Detailed knowledge of the role of lncRNAs can help to use them further as novel biomarkers for therapeutic aspects. Here, in this review we discuss regulation and functional roles of lncRNAs in eight neurological diseases and psychiatric disorders, and the mechanisms by which they act. With these, we try to establish their roles as potential markers and viable diagnostic tools in these disorders.

The carboxy-terminus of Hsp70-interacting protein(CHIP)is a ubiquitin ligase and co-chaperone belonging to Ubox family that plays a crucial role in the maintenance of cellular homeostasis by switching the equilibrium of the folding-refolding mechanism towards the proteasomal or lysosomal degradation *** links molecular chaperones ***70,HSP70 and HSP90 with ubiquitin proteasome system(UPS),acting as a quality control *** contains charged domain in between N-terminal tetratricopeptide repeat(TPR)and C-terminal Ubox *** domain interacts with the aberrant client proteins via chaperones while Ubox domain facilitates the ubiquitin transfer to the client proteins for ***,CHIP is a classic molecule that executes ubiquitination for degradation of client ***,CHIP has been found to be indulged in cellular differentiation,proliferation,metastasis and ***,CHIP can play its dual role as a tumor suppressor as well as an oncogene in numerous malignancies,thus acting as a double ***,in this review,we have reported almost all substrates of CHIP established till date and classified them according to the hallmarks of *** addition,we discussed about its architectural alignment,tissue specific expression,sub-cellular localization,folding-refolding mechanisms of client proteins,E4 ligase activity,normal physiological roles,as well as involvement in various diseases and tumor ***,we aim to discuss its importance in HSP90 inhibitors mediated cancer ***,this report concludes that CHIP may be a promising and worthy drug target towards pharmaceutical industry for drug development.

Role of ions and ion channels in capacitation and acrosome reaction of spermatozoa

Capacitation and acrosome reaction are important prerequisites of the fertilization process. Capacitation is a highlycomplex phenomenon occurring in the female genital tract, rendering the spermatozoa capable of binding and fusionwith the oocyte. During capacitation various biochemical and biophysical changes occur in the spermatozoa and thespermatozoal membranes. Ions and ion channels also play important roles in governing the process of capacitation bychanging the fluxes of different ions which in turn controls various characteristics of capacitated spermatozoa. Alongwith the mobilization of ions the generation of free radicals and efflux of cholesterol also plays an important role in thecapacitation state of the spermatozoa. The generation of free radical and efflux of cholesterol change the mechano-dynamic properties of the membrane by oxidation of the polyunsaturated lipids and by generating the cholesterol freepatches. The process of capacitation renders the spermatozoa responsive to the inducers of the acrosome reaction. Theglycoprotein zona pellucida 3 (ZP3) of the egg coat zona pellucida is the potent physiological stimulator of the acro-some reaction; progesterone, a major compoent of the follicular fluid, is also an induce of the acrosome *** inducers of the acrosome reaction cause the activation of the various ion-channels leading to high influxes of calci-um, sodium and bicarbonate. The efflux of cholesterol during the process of capacitation alters the permeablity of themembrane to the ions and generate areas which are prone to fusion and vesculation process during the acrosome reac-tion. Ths review focuses mainly on effects of the ion and ion-channels, free radicals, and membrane fluidity changesduring the process of capacitation and acrosome reaction. Big Data Analytics Using Swarm-Based Long Short-Term Memory for Temperature Forecasting

In the past few decades,climatic changes led by environmental pollution,the emittance of greenhouse gases,and the emergence of brown energy utilization have led to global *** warming increases the Earth’s temperature,thereby causing severe effects on human and environmental conditions and threatening the livelihoods of millions of *** warming issues are the increase in global temperatures that lead to heat strokes and high-temperature-related diseases during the summer,causing the untimely death of thousands of *** forecast weather conditions,researchers have utilized machine learning algorithms,such as autoregressive integrated moving average,ensemble learning,and long short-term memory *** techniques have been widely used for the prediction of *** this paper,we present a swarm-based approach called Cauchy particle swarm optimization(CPSO)to find the hyperparameters of the long shortterm memory(LSTM)*** hyperparameters were determined by minimizing the LSTM validationmean square error *** optimized hyperparameters of the LSTM were used to forecast the temperature of Chennai *** proposed CPSO-LSTM model was tested on the openly available 25-year Chennai temperature *** experimental evaluation on MATLABR2020a analyzed the root mean square error rate and mean absolute error to evaluate the forecasted *** proposed CPSO-LSTM outperforms the traditional LSTM algorithm by reducing its computational time to 25 min under 200 epochs and 150 hidden neurons during *** proposed hyperparameter-based LSTM can predict the temperature accurately by having a root mean square error(RMSE)value of 0.250 compared with the traditional LSTM of 0.35 RMSE.
