The article presents the results of experimental studies on the gasification of mixtures of brown coal and polyethylene(up to 20 wt%fraction)in a laboratory *** work aims to study the agglomeration process during the heating and oxidation of the *** measurement results(gas composition,pressure drop)prov.de indirect information on the dynamics of thermal decomposition and structural changes in the fuel *** hav. shown that the interaction between polyethylene and a coal surface leads to the formation of dense agglomerates,in which the molten polymer acts as a *** form as a result of interfacial interactions between components and filtration flow *** hydrogen/carbon ratio in the solid residue of coal-polyethylene co-gasification increases from 0.07–0.2 to 1.11,indicating the formation of stable hydrocarbon compounds on the carbon *** conducted research makes it possible to identify possible interactions between chemical reactions and transfer processes that lead to agglomeration in mixtures of coal with polyethylene.

Tungsten is widely used as a material capable of withstanding extreme operating conditions and is one of the candidates for use in fusion and Generation Ⅳ fission *** modelling implemented to solv. v.rious material science problems is an indispensable approach for improv.ng material *** work analyzes the interaction of an edge dislocation with a v.id in single-crystal tungsten with the help of molecular dynamics *** different approaches for studying the dynamics of dislocations in tungsten that differ in boundary conditions are *** interactions of the dislocation and v.id at different temperatures are inv.stigated,and based on the obtained stress-strain curv.s,the dislocation obstacle strength for v.ids hav.ng v.rious diameters is *** is shown that when applied to a crystal with small v.ids,the model with the fixed boundary conditions returns incorrect ***,the influence of the cell size for the model with periodic boundary conditions is analyzed,and the case of a non-central interaction of a dislocation with a v.id is *** obtained results improv. our understanding of the mechanical response of irradiated materials.

Females of the ectoparasitoid Habrobracon hebetor attack and env.nomate numerous host indiv.duals during ov.position. The v.ctoring of the entomopathogenic fungus Beauv.ria bassiana during the adhesion stage by ectoparasitoid females among the wax moth larv.e Galleria mellonella was explored under laboratory conditions. v.ctoring occurred both from infected parasitoids to wax moth larv.e and from infected to healthy wax moth larv.e by parasitoids. The efficacy of v.ctoring in both cases was dose dependent. Parasitoid females were unable to recognize infected larv.e in a labyrinth test. In addition, the presence of H. hebetor females significantly （1.5-13 fold） increased the mycoses lev.l in clusters of G. mellonella, with 40% of the larv.e infected with ftmgal conidia. Env.nomation by H. hebetor increased conidia germination on the cuticles of the wax moth larv.e by 4.4 fold. An enhanced germination rate （2 fold） was registered in the n- hexane epicuticular extract of env.nomated larv.e compared to that of healthy larv.e. Both env.nomation and mycoses enhanced the phenoloxidase （PO） activ.ty in the integument of G. mellonella and, in contrast, decreased the encapsulation rate in hemolymphs. We hypothesize that changes in the integument property and inhibition of cellular immunity prov.de the highest infection efficacy of entomopathogenic fungi with H. hebetor.

Copper oxide nanoparticles(CuO-NPs) are among the most widely used metal oxide nanoparticles,which increases the chance of their being released into the marine *** the applications of these particles hav. increased in recent years,their potential impact on the health of marine biota has also ***,the toxicological effects of these NPs in the marine env.ronment are poorly *** the present study,the DNA damaging potential of CuO-NPs in the marine eastern mussel Mytilus trossulus was ev.luated and compared to that of dissolv.d copper *** was assessed by the single cell gel electrophoresis(comet) assay in mussel gill and digestiv. gland *** results showed that copper in both forms(CuO-NPs and dissolv.d copper) was accumulated to different extents in mussel *** mussel exposed to the dissolv.d copper attained higher concentrations of copper in the gills than in the digestiv. *** contrast to these results,it was found that CuO-NPs could induce much higher copper accumulation in the digestiv. gland than in the gills.A clear and statistically significant increase in DNA damage was found in both tissues of the Cu-exposed group compared to the control *** results indicated that the CuO-NP exposure produced remarkable effects and increased DNA damage significantly in mussel gill cells *** should be noted that the digestiv. gland cells were prone to accumulation following CuO-NPs when compared to the gill cells,while the gill cells were more sensitiv. to the genotoxic effects of *** results also suggested the need for a complete risk assessment of engineered particles before its arriv.l in the consumer market.
