The construction of gas and oil plants include many items such as steel structures, equipments, piping, tanks and vessels at different conditions such as offshore, onshore, above and underground shall be protected against corrosion by coating. The protective value of a coating system is proportional to the surface preparation;the objectives of the surface preparation are the surface cleanliness and the surface profile of the substrate. The surface preparation is usually achieved by blast cleaning using different types of abrasive. Due to its high hardness and low cost, silica sand has been used extensively for impact abrasion. It is, however, very brittle with most grain disintegrating on impact, causing excessive levels of siliceous dust which is a major health hazard and causes serious environmental pollution. Consequently, it has been banned as impact abrasive material in most countries around the world. Considerable research has been done in the last twenty years to find an impact abrasive material as hard as silica and that respects. So it was important to search for sand substitution among the local abundant minerals in Egypt. Waste product obtained from ilmenite ore extracted from the mine was found to be the most suitable alternative abrasive. This work shows the abrasive types, the occurrence of the ilmenite ore. The chemical properties, physical properties and microscopic examination of the waste were investigated. The obtained result indicates that, the waste product obtained from ilmenite ore can be utilized for abrasion as sand substitution.

Banana is a tropical crop cultivated in warm *** stress in Egypt is making banana crops less *** acid(ABA),a key plant hormone,regulates metabolic and physiological processes and protects plants from a variety of *** vitro growing banana shoots were pre-treated with ABA at four concentrations(0,25,50,and 100 mM)and chilled at 5℃for 24 h,followed by a six-day recovery period at 25℃.By comparing ABA treatments to both positive and negative controls,physiological and biochemical changes were *** stress(5℃)caused a considerable increase in lipid peroxidation and ion leakage and reduced photosynthetic pigments in cold-treated *** the concentration of ABA to 100μM enhanced the response to chilling *** had a major effect on mitigating chilling injury in banana shoots by keeping cell membranes stable and lowering the amount of ion leakage and lipid ***,ABA significantly maintained the photosynthetic pigment concentration of banana shoots;accumulated higher amounts of total soluble carbohydrates and proline;and increased DPPH radical scavenging ***,ABA treatment enhanced cold tolerance in chilling-stressed banana shoots through the regulation of antioxidant enzyme ***,the results show that ABA is a good choice for protecting banana shoots from the damage caused by chilling stress.

Background: Speckle tracking echocardiography using average global strain and strain rate (SR) parameters for early detection of high risk patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) has gained a substantial clinical interest. Objective: Assessment of the diagnostic accuracy of strain imaging of the left ventricle in detection of obstructive coronary artery disease. Methods: One hundred patients were enrolled. They were divided into 3 groups: Group I (n = 40 patients) presented with ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), Group II (n = 40 patients) presented with non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) or unstable angina (UA) and Group III (n = 20 patients) with normal coronary angiography served as a control group. All patients were subjected to 2D speckle tracking echocardiography (2D STE) to assess LV longitudinal strain and strain rate (SR). Sensitivity, specificity and diagnostic accuracy of 2D STE in prediction of CAD and its severity using Gensini score were assessed. Results: The mean age for Group I, II and III was 52.20 ± 11.83, 51.97 ± 14.53 and 52.75 ± 10.75 respectively. Objective:The objective of this study was to assess the prevalence and level of social media addiction among nursing students in the Faculty of Nursing,Cairo *** and Methods:A descriptive cross‑sectional research design was conducted on samples of 340 students at the Faculty of Nursing,Cairo *** were collected through demographic background information sheet and Social Networking Addiction ***:All the students were addicted as 6.76%were severely addicted and 60.59%and 32.65%were moderately and mildly addicted,*** relations were found between social media addiction and students’age(χ^(2)=11.331,P=0.003),educational level(χ^(2)=20.239,P=0.003),and grade point average(χ^(2)=19.378,P=0.013).Conclusion:Internet addiction was prevalent among all students but at different levels,so early screening of students for Internet addiction using the Internet Addiction Scale is important to provide early treatment and prevent hazards to health.

作为世界五大法系之一的沙里亚大法是一部包罗万象的宗教法规汇集,是一种将法律、伦理和教规紧密结合的宗教法。它由伊斯兰教基本原则检验,接替了古代罗马法、巴比伦法、波斯法和犹太法的某些习惯和法律传统,从而具备了较广泛的适应性,被称为“宽容的法律”(al-Shari’ah al-Samhah),其内容涵盖了宗教、法律、经济、政治、伦理道德、军事、生活习俗等各个领域。在沙里亚大法学中,最根本的来源是《古兰经》,其次是圣训,所以它被称为“启示法律”或“圣神法律”。沙里亚大法是基本对立并独立于当时法律实践的法律学说体系而产生,其对人类社会的影响十分重大。沙里亚大法很早就引起世界上,尤其西方学术界的广泛关注,但长期以来尚未引起中国学术界的高度重视,近期正是在阿中双方学者的共同推动下,会出现前所未有的繁荣局面。在中国,以沙里亚大法这个概念为主题的作品十分鲜见,从全国论文期刊全文数据库中检索到有关沙里亚法的论文尚不足几篇,仅有的几篇也只限于研究沙里亚法的著作中个别章节的简单介绍,真正的专题研究论文更是凤毛麟角,对于沙里亚大法史及其在华的演化发展研究也无从查证。另外,信息传播手段中某些著作和网站对沙里亚大法这个概念的理解存在偏差和误解。为此,本文从较深地层面论述沙里亚大法的历史。沙里亚大法在时代和环境的变迁发展中不断做出适应性的调整,在历史的潮流中不断焕发出新的生机。对沙里亚大法在华延伸的状况进行学术研究,首先,要研究其从开始传入中国,历经唐、宋、元、明、清,随后进入民国并传播到今天的一个发展状态;其次,研究它为适应中国环境而演化出的,具有强烈中国特色的沙里亚习惯法。在中国这个多民族、多文化共存的社会中,各民族习惯法同国家法功能关系的协调是各族人民融洽相处的必要条件,因此需要调适两者之间的关系,在不违背国家法制定规范的大前提下,各民族遵守自己的习惯法。

In this work, we have developed a web application for Baccalaureate grades processing in Niger. This online application allows to replace Excel based manual grades processing with fully automated one. Thus, the application helps to minimize the errors caused by the Excel manipulation. It also allows rapid centralization of all results at the exam service level. For the development, we adopted the agile method. This method is very efficient in allowing us to prioritize our real needs and the application is enriched as these needs arise. For the design, we used the UML Modeling language and for the implementation, we used a number of computer tools such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML, Jquery, AJAX, Bootstrap and CSS.

Gas-phase thermolysis of 1-ethoxycarbonyl-benzotriazole under static, FVP and microwaves condition yielded N^1 and NZ-ethylbenzotriazole, 2-ethoxy-1,3-benzooxazole, biphenylene and oxazolidin-2-one. On the other hand, direct condensation and pyrolysis of naphtho[1,8-de][1,2,3]triazine with ethylisocyanate, phenylisocyanate and their isothiocayanates, benzoylisothiocyanate and thiourea at 150-160 ℃ or under microwaves irradiation produced the corresponding naphthopyrimidin-2-one derivatives.

Serum Bilirubin as a Predictor of Coronary Artery Disease Severity in Patients Undergoing Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

Introduction: Coronary artery disease (CAD) is one of the most common causes of death worldwide. In 2010, about 7 out of total 53 million deaths were due to ischemic heart disease. The aim of this study is to evaluate the relationship of serum bilirubin level with the severity and complexity of coronary artery disease (CAD) in the patients undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Materials and Methods: 70 patients with STEMI who were undergoing primary PCI were included in the study. All the patients included in the study were subjected to full routine investigations and standard coronary angiographic projections. Total bilirubin level was measured and the patients were divided into two groups. Group 1 was with serum TB (and Group 2 was with serum TB (>1 mg/dl). Severity and complexity of coronary artery lesions will be assessed using Gensini score. Results: After PCI, the two studied groups were compared regarding the number of vessels affected by one and more than one vessel disease. Single vessel disease was frequent in Group 2 (71%) with significant p value (0.003). Cardiac enzymes (troponin I) was more in Group 1 (S. Bil value (0.02). Also (ALT, AST) were more in Group 1 (p value = 0.01). By comparing the 2 groups, there was a significant difference regarding (EF) between both which was less in Group 1 (*** 1), p value significance (0, 0001). Also GENSENI was more in Group 1 (*** 1) with mean (80.35 vs 34.71) and significant pvalue (0.0001). There was a highly significant negative correlation between serum bilirubin & GENSENI score (r = -0.762, p value 0.0001). Regarding the incidence of complications, incidence was more in Group 1 (*** 1), which means a significant difference between both groups with significant p value (0.0001). There was a significant negative correlation between serum bilirubin & incidence of complications (R = -0.38, pvalue 0.001). The study area is a semi-arid area located in the Arlit *** area contains significant uranium deposits that have been mined by two mining companies since *** objective of this study is to determine the impact of these activities on existing aquifers,in particular Izegouande aquifer.A methodological approach based on hydrochemical methods focusing on the analysis of nitrates and sulfates showed that waters of Izegouande aquifer have high nitrate concentrations ranging from 16 mg/L to 60 mg/L,higher than WHO(World Health Organization)standards drinking *** addition,these waters show elevated sulfate levels ranging from 16 mg/L to 57 mg/L,therefore *** high concentrations of nitrates and sulfates are located mainly near wastewater treatment of Arlit city and near industrial zone,which are potential areas for transfer of these elements such as nitrates and *** is therefore urgent to carry out periodic and regular checks on groundwater in these areas.
