Cerebral ischemia is a major health risk that requires preventive approaches in addition to drug *** exercise enhances neurogenesis and synaptogenesis,and has been widely used for functional rehabilitation after *** this study,we determined whether exercise training before disease onset can alleviate the severity of cerebral *** also examined the role of exercise-induced circulating factors in these *** mice were subjected to 14 days of treadmill exercise training before surgery for middle cerebral artery *** found that this exercise pre-conditioning strategy effectively attenuated brain infarct area,inhibited gliogenesis,protected synaptic proteins,and improved novel object and spatial memory *** analysis showed that circulating adiponectin plays a critical role in these preventive effects of *** activation of adiponectin receptors by Adipo Ron mimicked the effects of exercise,while inhibiting receptor activation abolished the exercise *** summary,our results suggest a crucial role of circulating adiponectin in the effects of exercise pre-conditioning in protecting against cerebral ischemia and supporting the health benefits of exercise.

We present HiLLS(High Level Language for System Specification),a graphical formalism that allows to specify Discrete Event System(DES)models for analysis using methodologies like simulation,formal methods and ***’syntax is built from the integration of concepts from System Theory and Software Engineering aided by simple concrete notations to describe the structural and behavioral aspects of *** paper provides the syntax of HiLLS and its simulation semantics which is based on the Discrete Event System Specification(DEVS)*** DEVS-based Modeling and Simulation(M&S)perspective,HiLLS is a platform-independent visual language with generic expressions that can serve as a front-end for most existing DEVS-based simulation environments with the aid of Model-Driven Engineering(MDE)*** also suggests ways to fill some gaps in existing DEVS-based visual formalisms that inhibit complete specification of the behavior of complex *** provide a case study to illustrate the core features of the language.

The material feeding changing of combine harvester is easy to cause accumulation and blockage of the vibrating screen,which seriously affects the harvest *** order to alleviate such accumulation and blockages on the vibrating screen surface,the guide chute rotation angle of the improved variable amplitude screening mechanism was selected as the target variable,and EDEM-RecurDyn was employed to simulate the anti-blocking process of the variable amplitude under a changing feeding quantity(0.5 kg/s abnormal,0.2 kg/s normal)of materials(rice grain and stem mixture).A BP(an error back propagation algorithm)neural network was designed and the prediction model of the material distribution was subsequently constructed on the variable screening surface under different chute angles during abnormal *** results revealed a continuous decrease in the quality and time of the material blockage at the front end of the screen surface with the increasing guide chute *** the guide chute angle of 20°-45°and adjustment time of 3-6 s,the blocked and accumulated materials at the front-end screen surface was be moved back to Grid 6 for ***,overtime,the screen surface materials continued to move back under the chute angle of 40°-45°,which had a great impact on the screening *** the guide chute angle of 30°-35°and adjustment time of 4 s,the materials on the screen surface were evenly distributed in Grid *** was able to alleviate the accumulation and blockage of the screen surface *** R of the material distribution prediction model(BP neural network)on the screen surface was determined as 0.97,indicating the high reliability and accuracy of the material distribution model on the screen surface based on the BP neural *** work provides an important reference for the variable amplitude intelligent control of screen surface material anti-blocking.

Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) possess immunomodulatory properties, which confer enormous potential for clinical application. Considerable evidence revealed their efficacy on various animal models of autoimmune diseases, such as multiple sclerosis, systemic lupus erythematosus and uveitis. MSCs elicit their immunomodulatory effects by inhibiting lymphocyte activation and proliferation, forbidding the secretion of proinflammatory cytokines, limiting the function of antigen presenting cells, and inducing regulatory T(Treg) and B(Breg) cells. The induction of Treg and Breg cells is of particular interest since Treg and Breg cells have significant roles in maintaining immune tolerance. Several mechanisms have been proposed regarding to the MSCs-mediated induction of Treg and Breg cells. Accordingly, MSCs induce regulatory lymphocytes through secretion of multiple pleiotropic cytokines, cell-to-cell contact with target cells and modulation of antigen-presenting cells. Here, we summarized how MSCs induce Treg and Breg cells to provoke immunosuppression.

Acute on chronic liver failure（ACLF） was first described in 1995 as a clinical syndrome distinct to classic acute *** by complications of decompensation,ACLF occurs on a background of chronic liver dysfunction and is associated with high rates of organ failure and significant short-term mortality estimated between45%and 90%.Despite the clinical relevance of the condition,it still remains largely undefined with continued disagreement regarding its precise etiological factors,clinical course,prognostic criteria and management *** is concerning that,despite our relative lack of understanding of the condition,the burden of ACLF among cirrhotic patients remains significant with an estimated prevalence of 30.9%.This paper highlights our current understanding of ACLF,including its etiology,diagnostic and prognostic criteria and *** is evident that further refinement of the ACLF classification system is required in order to detect high-risk patients and improve short-term mortality *** field of metabolomics certainly warrants investigation to enhance diagnostic and prognostic parameters,while the use of granulocyte-colony stimulating factor is a promising future therapeutic intervention for patients with ACLF.

Interaction of acoustic waves and microbubbles occurs in numerous biomedical applications including ultrasound imaging,drug delivery,lithotripsy treatment,and cell manipulation,wherein the acoustically driven microbub-blcs routincly act as active microscale oscillators or *** contrast,microbubbles were utilized here as passive reccivers to detect broadband ultrasound waves in aqueous *** microbubble was photo-thermally generated on a microstructured optical fiber(MOF)tip,forming a flexible Fabry-Perot cavity whose gas-water interface was sensitive to ultrasound *** MOF severed as both a low-loss waveguide and a compact light condenser,allowing high-efficiency generation and stabilization of ultrasmall *** with all-fiber interferometry,a 10 um diameter microbubble exhibited a low noise-cquivalcnt pressur elevei of^3.4 mPa/Hz^1/2 and a broad bandwidth of^0.8 MHz,capable of detecting weak ultrasounds emittedfrom red blood cells irradiated by pulsed laser *** advantages of high sensitivity,compact size,and low cost,the microbubble-based ultrasound sensor has great potential in biomedical imaging and sensing applications.
