Sustainable tourism development in mountain areas in Sumadija and Western Serbia

Sustainable tourism,as an integral part of sustainable development,emerged as a logical outcome of preventing the uncontrolled and excessive use of tourism resources and *** study analyzes whether mountain tourism development in Serbia can be sustainable and feasible in the long *** the heterogeneity of mountains in Serbia in terms of tourism development,the subject of this research is the achieved level of sustainable tourism development in mountains in the most developed and most visited region in Serbia-sumadija and Western Serbia:Zlatibor,Kopaonik,Tara,Zlatar,Mokra Gora and Go?.The sustainable tourism development level was analyzed by using five groups of the EU’s comparative indicators:economic,social,cultural,environmental and tourist satisfaction *** results showed that the development of tourism in the examined mountains is not fully aligned with sustainable *** tourist satisfaction indicator has the most acceptable values,which is a good basis for further harmonization of tourism development on the principles of *** indicators,especially the ratio of overnight stays and accommodation capacities,show the most unacceptable values,which indicate the need for implementing changes in the process of tourism development in the coming *** analysis of sustainable tourism in mountain areas in sumadija and the Western Serbia undoubtfully points out that it is necessary to significantly change the current tourism product portfolio,which implies harmonizing mountain tourism development with global ***,a comparative analysis that looks at the degree of sustainability of mountain tourism in some countries of the Alpine region,such as Switzerland,Austria and Slovenia,contributes to *** more intensive development of tourism throughout the year would significantly improve indicators of sustainable tourism in all analyzed mountain areas of Sumadija and Western *** would improve the

Histopathological Characteristics of Atrophic Gastritisin Adult Population

Introduction： Chronic gastritis is inflammation of the gastric mucosa. It can be non-atrophic and atrophic. Atrophy isdefined as the loss of appropriate glands. It is frequently located in antral mucosa as consequence of Helicobacter pylori infectionand it is associated with intestinal gastric cancer. Goal： Describe histopathological and demographic characteristics of atrophicgastritis. Matherial and methods： We assessed the pathological reports of 100 patients with atrophic gastritis whose characteristicswere evaluated by using a semiquantitative scale of Sidney system of classification of gastritis. To assess the significance betweenthe incidence of various parametres we used ;~2 test. Results： We found that the difference in frequency of atrophic gastritis betweenmen and women was not statistically significant. The difference in distribution is statistically significant in favor of the *** patients who have atrophy with Helicobacterpylori infection and intestinal metaplasia and those who do not have metaplasia,it was found that the difference is highly statistically significant. Conclusion： The most frequent localisation of atrophic gastritis isantral mucosa. There is no difference between men and women in frequency of atrophic gastritis, while the aging is related with moreoften occurrence of atrophic gastritis.

Estimation of Stability Constants of Copper（Ⅱ） Complexes with a-Amino Acids Using Connectivity Index 3xV, Common Model for the Binary and Ternary Complexes

Models for estimation of the first （K1）, second （K2）, and overall stability constant （β2） of copper（II） chelates with naturally occurring amino acids, based on the valence connectivity index of the 3rd order （3Xr）, were improved by introduction of a square term and a new graph representation for mono-complexes （MLCor）. The models gave SE = 0.07, 0.05--0.07 and 0.05--0.08 for lg Ki, lg K2 and lg ,62 constants, respectively; models that encompass both bi- nary and ternary bis-complexes included indicator variable. We also validated our models on the test set which in- cluded two mono-, two binary and two ternary Cu（II） chelates with a-aminobutanoic acid and a-aminopentanoic acid, not included into the calibration. The absolute differences between experimental and predicted stability con- stants were in the range of 0.01--0.16.

Weighted Sum of Gray Gases Model Optimization for Numerical Investigations of Processes inside Pulverized Coal-Fired Furnaces

The effects of the number of significant figures （NSF） in the interpolation polynomial coefficients （IPCs） of the weighted sum of gray gases model （WSGM） on results of numerical investigations and WSGM optimization were investigated. The investigation was conducted using numerical simulations of the processes inside a pulverized coal-fired furnace. The radiative properties of the gas phase were determined using the simple gray gas model （SG）, two-term WSGM （W2）, and three-term WSGM （W3）. Ten sets of the IPCs with the same NSF were formcd for every weighting coefficient in both W2 and W3. The average and maximal relative difference values of the flame temperatures, wall temperatures, and wall heat fluxes were determined. The investigation showed that the results of numerical investigations were affected by the NSF unless it exceeded certain value. The increase in the NSF did not necessarily lead to WSGM optimization. The combination of the NSF （CNSF） was the necessary requirement for WSGM optimization.

Hepatocellular carcinoma: From clinical practice to evidence-based treatment protocols

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is one of the major malignant diseases in many healthcare systems. The growing number of new cases diagnosed each year is nearly equal to the number of deaths from this cancer. Worldwide, HCC is a leading cause of cancerrelated deaths, as it is the fifth most common cancer and the third most important cause of cancer related death in men. Among various risk factors the two are prevailing: viral hepatitis, namely chronic hepatitis C virus is a well-established risk factor contributing to the rising incidence of HCC. The epidemic of obesity and the metabolic syndrome, not only in the United States but also in Asia, tend to become the leading cause of the long-term rise in the HCC incidence. Today, the diagnosis of HCC is established within the national surveillance programs in developed countries while the diagnosis of symptomatic, advanced stage disease still remains the characteristic of underdeveloped countries. Although many different staging systems have been developed and evaluated the BarcelonaClinic Liver Cancer staging system has emerged as the most useful to guide HCC treatment. Treatment allocation should be decided by a multidisciplinary board involving hepatologists, pathologists, radiologists, liver surgeons and oncologists guided by personalized-based medicine. This approach is important not only to balance between different oncologic treatments strategies but also due to the complexity of the disease(chronic liver disease and the cancer) and due to the large number of potentially efficient therapies. Careful patient selection and a tailored treatment modality for every patient, either potentially curative(surgical treatment and tumor ablation) or palliative(transarterial therapy, radioembolization and medical treatment, i.e., sorafenib) is mandatory to achieve the best treatment outcome.

Villous adenomas are benign epithelial lesions with malignant potential that can occur in any part of the gastrointestinal tract. We present a case of a middle age woman with acromegaly who was investigated for nonspecific gastrointestinal complaints. Ultrasonography and subsequent endosonography diagnosed a large （4.5 cm）, hyperechoic, sessile polyp with numerous pedicles. An open cholecystectomy was performed and revealed a villous adenoma with several foci of carcinoma in situ. Detailed investigations showed no other tumors of the gastrointestinal tract. After five years of follo up, the patient reports no complaints, and the results of laboratory testing and imaging studies are within the normal range.

BACKGROUND Patients with Crohn’s disease(CD)are at risk of developing complications such as perianal *** with Crohn’s perianal fistulas(CPF)are affected by fecal incontinence(FI),bleeding,pain,swelling,and purulent perianal discharge,and METHODS This cross-sectional observational study was conducted in patients with CD aged 21-90 years via a web-enabled questionnaire in seven countries(April-August 2021).Patients were recruited into three cohorts:Cohort 1 included patients without perianal fistulas;cohort 2 included patients with perianal fistulas without fistula-related surgery;and cohort 3 included patients with perianal fistulas and fistula-related *** patient-reported outcome measures were used to assess quality of *** of treatment preferences were measured using a discrete choice experiment(DCE).RESULTS In total,929 patients were recruited(cohort 1,n=620;cohort 2,n=174;cohort 3,n=135).Short Inflammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire scores were worse for patients with CPF(cohorts 2 and 3)than for those with CD without CPF(cohort 1):Mean score 3.8 and 3.7 vs 4.1,respectively,(P<0.001).Similarly,mean Revised FI and FI Quality of Life scores were worse for patients with CPF than for those with CD without *** of Life with Anal Fistula scores were similar in patients with CPF with or without CPF-related surgery(cohorts 2 and 3):Mean score 41 and 42,*** the DCE,postoperative discomfort and fistula healing rate were the most important treatment attributes influencing treatment choice:Mean relative importance 35.7 and 24.7,*** The burden of illness in CD is significantly higher for patients with CPF and patients rate lower postoperative discomfort and higher healing rates as the most desirable treatment attributes.

AIM:This paper describes the procedure of detection of Helicobacter pylori(***)in bile specimens in patients suffering from benign diseases of biliary ducts(lithiasis with/without nonspecific cholangitis). METHODS:The group of 72 patients entering the study consisted of 32 male and 40 female(45 % and 55 %, respectively).Bile was obtained during ERCP in 68 patients, and during cholecystectomy in 4 patients.A fast urease test (FUT)to determine the existence of *** in gastric mucosa was carried out for all the patients during the endoscopic *** existence of genetic material of *** was determined by detection of ure A gene by the method of nested *** results of this reaction were shown by electrophoresis on 10 g·L^(-1)agarose gel in a band of 256 bp. RESULTS:The majority of the patients included in our study had biliary lithiasis without signs of cholangitis(48 patients, 67 %),whereas other patients were complicated by cholangitis(17 patients,24 %).Seven patients(9 %)had normal ERCP,forming thus the control *** the group of patients with lithiasis 26 patients(24.2 %)had positive PCR of *** in bile and among the patients with associated cholangitis positive PCR was detected in 9 patients(52.9 %).Among the seven patients with normal ERCP only one(14 %)had positive PCR of ***.A high percentage of *** infection of gastric mucosa was observed(57 patients,79 %).It was also observed that its slightly higher positivity was in the patients with distinct bile pathology:81% FLIT positive patients in the group with choledocholithiasis alone and 76 % in the group with choledocholithiasis associated with ***-one percent of the patients with regular findings had positive ***: The prevalence of H. pylori infection both in bile and in gastric mucosa in patients with benign diseases of biliary ducts does not show a statistically significant difference in relation to the prevalence of the same with the patients
