Personality recognition plays a pivotal role when developing user-centric solutions such as recommender systems or decision support systems across various domains,including education,e-commerce,or human ***-ditional machine learning techniques have been broadly employed for personality trait identification;nevertheless,the development of new technologies based on deep learning has led to new opportunities to improve their *** study focuses on the capabilities of pre-trained language models such as BERT,RoBERTa,ALBERT,ELECTRA,ERNIE,or XLNet,to deal with the task of personality *** models are able to capture structural features from textual content and comprehend a multitude of language facets and complex features such as hierarchical relationships or long-term *** makes them suitable to classify multi-label personality traits from reviews while mitigating computational *** focus of this approach centers on developing an architecture based on different layers able to capture the semantic context and structural features from ***,it is able to fine-tune the previous models using the MyPersonality dataset,which comprises 9,917 status updates contributed by 250 Facebook *** status updates are categorized according to the well-known Big Five personality model,setting the stage for a comprehensive exploration of personality *** test the proposal,a set of experiments have been performed using different metrics such as the exact match ratio,hamming loss,zero-one-loss,precision,recall,F1-score,and weighted *** results reveal ERNIE is the top-performing model,achieving an exact match ratio of 72.32%,an accuracy rate of 87.17%,and 84.41%of *** findings demonstrate that the tested models substantially outperform other state-of-the-art studies,enhancing the accuracy by at least 3%and confirming them as powerful tools for personality *** findings represent substantial a

Life cycle and nymphal feeding of Besdolus ravizzarum （Plecoptera： Perlodidae）, a threatened stonefly

We have studied some aspects of Besdolus ravizzarum biology in the Apen- nines. This stonefly has a very localized distribution in southeastern France and northern Italy. This species is considered threatened. For this reason it is especially relevant to improve knowledge about its natural history, previously unknown. Despite the large size of nymphs, this species shows a univoltine life cycle. The growth is slow but uniform from October to April or May when the short flight period occurs. The analysis of the gut con- tents indicates this species is a predator, feeding mainly on Baetidae and Chironomidae. It is notable that the development of this carnivorous species through cold periods coincides with the season with higher richness and density of potential prey in Apennine streams. Further studies are needed to improve knowledge of the distribution of the species and to start planning effective conservation efforts.

Sperm kinematic, head morphometric and kinetic- morphometric subpopulations in the blue fox （Alopex lagopus）

This work provides information on the blue fox ejaculated sperm quality needed for seminal dose calculations. Twenty semen samples, obtained by masturbation, were analyzed for kinematic and morphometric parameters by using CASA-Mot and CASA-Morph system and principal component （PC） analysis. For motility, eight kinematic parameters were evaluated, which were reduced to PC1, related to linear variables, and PC2, related to oscillatory movement. The whole population was divided into three independent subpopulations： SP1, fast cells with linear movement; SP2, slow cells and nonoscillatory motility; and SP3, medium speed cells and oscillatory movement. In almost all cases, the subpopulation distribution by animal was significantly different. Head morphology analysis generated four size and four shape parameters, which were reduced to PC 1, related to size, and PC2, related to shape of the cells. Three morphometric subpopulations existed. SPI： large oval cells; SP2： medium size elongated cells; and SP3. small and short cells. The subpopulation distribution differed between animals. Combining the kinematic and morphometric datasets produced PC1, related to morphometric parameters, and PC2, related to kinematics, which generated four sperm subpopulations - SPI.. high oscillatory motility, large and short heads; SP2; medium velocity with small and short heads; SP3. slow motion small and elongated cells; and SP4. high linear speed and large elongated cells. Subpopulation distribution was different in all animals. The establishment of sperm subpopulations from kinematic, morphometric, and combined variables not only improves the well-defined fox semen characteristics and offers a good conceptual basis for fertility and sperm preservation techniques in this species, but also opens the door to use this approach in other species, included humans.

Prevalence of and risk factors for severe malaria caused by Plasmodium and dengue virus co-infection: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Background:Co-infection with both Plasmodium and dengue virus(DENV)infectious species could have serious and fatal outcomes if left undiagnosed and without timely *** present study aimed to determine the pooled prevalence estimate of severe malaria among patients with co-infection,the risk of severe diseases due to co-infection,and to describe the complications of severe malaria and severe dengue among patients with ***:Relevant studies published between databases between 12 September 1970 and 22 May 2020 were identified and retrieved through a search of the ISI Web of Science,Scopus,and *** pooled prevalence and 95%confidence interval(CI)of severe malaria among patients with Plasmodium and DENV co-infection was estimated with a random-effects model to take into account the between-study heterogeneity of the included *** risks of severe malaria and severe diseases due to co-infection were estimated with the pooled odds ratio(OR)and 95%CI with a random-effects ***:Of the 5653 articles screened,13 studies were included in the systematic review and *** results demonstrated that the pooled prevalence estimate of severe malaria among patients with co-infection was 32%(95%CI:18-47%,I 2=92.3%).Patients with co-infection had a higher risk of severe diseases than those with DENV mono-infection(odds ratio[OR]=3.94,95%CI:1.96-7.95,I 2=72%).Patients with co-infection had a higher risk of severe dengue than those with DENV mono-infection(OR=1.98,95%CI:1.08-3.63,I 2=69%).The most severe complications found in severe dengue were bleeding(39.6%),jaundice(19.8%),and shock/hypotension(17.9%),while the most severe complications found in severe malaria were severe bleeding/bleeding(47.9%),jaundice(32.2%),and impaired consciousness(7.43%).Conclusions:The present study found that there was a high prevalence of severe malaria among patients with Plasmodium and DENV *** in endemic areas where these two di

Although the association between alcohol and pancreatic diseases has been recognized for a long time,the impact of alcohol consumption on pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer(PC)remains poorly *** there is not consensus about the epidemiology and the beverage type,dose and duration of alcohol consumption causing these *** objective of this study was to review the epidemiology described in the literature for pancreatic diseases as a consequence of alcoholic behavior trying to understand the association between dose,type and frequency of alcohol consumption and risk of pancreatitis and *** majority of the studies conclude that high alcohol intake was associated with a higher risk of pancreatitis(around 2.5%-3% between heavy drinkers and 1.3%between non drinkers).About 70%of pancreatitis are due to chronic heavy alcohol *** this incidence rate differs between countries,it is clear that the risk of developing pancreatitis increases with increasing doses of alcohol and the average of alcohol consumption vary since 80 to 150 g/d for 10-15 *** regard to PC, the role of alcohol consumption remains less clear,and low to moderate alcohol consumption do not appear to be associated with PC risk,and only chronic heavy drinking increase the risk compared with lightly *** a population of 10%-15%of heavy drinkers, 2%-5%of all PC cases could be attributed to alcohol ***,as only a minority(less than 10%for pancreatitis and 5%for PC)of heavily drinkers develops these pancreatic diseases,there are other predisposing factors besides alcohol *** variability and environmental exposures such as smoking and diet modify the risk and should be considered for further investigations.
