Oncofertility is an extremely signiﬁcant topic that is increasingly being discussed owing to increased evidence indicating that fertility preservation does not affect the treatment outcomes of patients with cancer but signiﬁcantly contributes to preserving life *** effect of chemotherapy can range from minimal effects to complete ovarian *** data are available on the effects of monoclonal antibodies and targeted therapies on the ovaries and *** ovarian suppression by administering a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist(GnRHa)during chemotherapy decreases the gonadotoxic effect of chemotherapy,thereby diminishing the chance of developing premature ovarian insufﬁciency(POI).At present,the concomitant administration of GnRH analogs during chemotherapy is the only accepted pharmacological method for preserving ovarian ***,most randomized studies on the effectiveness of luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone agonists during chemotherapy in preventing POI have been conducted in women with breast cancer,with a considerably small number of studies on patients with hematological ***,most randomized controlled trials on breast cancer have revealed a decrease in treatment-induced POI risk,regardless of the hormone receptor *** addition,studies on hematological malignancies have yielded negative results;nevertheless,theﬁndings must be interpreted with caution owing to numerous *** guidelines from the American Society of Clinical Oncology and ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines recommend sperm,oocyte,and embryo cryopreservation as a standard practice and only offering GnRHa to patients when proven fertility preservation methods are not *** this manuscript,we present a comprehensive literature overview on the application of ovarian suppression with GnRHa during chemotherapy in patients with cancer by addressing preclinical and clinical data,as well as future perspectives in thisﬁeld

Liver transplantation serves as a life-saving intervention for patients with endstage liver disease,yet long-term survival remains a ***-liver transplant obesity seems to have a significant contribution to this challenge and it emerges as a significant risk factor for graft steatosis,metabolic syndrome and denovo malignancy *** review synthesizes current literature on prevalence,risk factors and management strategies for post-liver transplant obesity,emphasizing its impact on graft and patient *** review consultation was conducted in Medline/PubMed,SciELO and EMBASE,with the combination of the following keywords:Weight management,liver transplantation,immunosuppressive therapy,lifestyle interventions,bariatric *** therapy has a significant influence on long-term survival of liver transplant patients,yet it seems to have lesser effect on post-transplant obesity development than previously ***,it significantly contributes to the development of other components of metabolic *** predisposing factors for post-transplant obesity development encompass elevated recipient and donor body mass index,a history of alcoholic liver disease,hepatocellular carcinoma,male gender,the absence of cellular rejection and the marital status of the *** immunosuppressive regimens,pharmacotherapy,lifestyle interventions and bariatric surgery represent key components in mitigating post-transplant obesity and improving long-term survival and quality of life in this group of *** identification and intervention thus hold paramount *** research is warranted to refine optimal management strategies and enhance outcomes in this patient population.

Liver transplantation is as a crucial therapeutic option for patients with end-stage liver disease,but the persistent organ shortage emphasizes a need to explore unconventional donor sources,including individuals with a history of *** review investigates the viability of liver donation from individuals with current or past genitourinary malignancies,focusing on renal,prostate and urinary bladder *** rising incidence of urogenital malignancies among potential donors is thought to result from increasing donor *** of transmission risks reveals low rates of donor-derived cancer transmission,partic-ularly for early-stage renal and prostate *** with a history of genitourinary malignancy pose complex challenges regarding post-transplant immunosuppression and cancer ***,the evidence suggests acceptable outcomes can be achieved with careful patient selection and tailored management *** for pre-transplant evaluation and post-transplant surveillance are discussed,highlighting the need for individualized approaches in this patient *** prospective studies are warranted to refine guidelines and optimize outcomes in liver transplantation for patients with genitourinary malignancies.

在心电信号的基础上设计心脏康复训练系统,本文总结了机器人辅助心脏康复研究国内外现状,从心电监测、机器人辅助康复系统设计上进行阐述。在心电监测装置上实现上下位机通信,在机器人辅助系统设计中,通过使用Visual Studio、Coppeliasim及Kinect设备三者进行通信,控制仿真机器人完成康复动作并严格识别、判定患者康复动作合格程度,以此来帮助心脏病患者进行康复动作训练。

New strategy for reducing the EHL friction in steel contacts using additive-formed oleophobic boundary films

In this study we present a mechanism for the elastohydrodynamic(EHD)friction reduction in steel/steel contacts,which occurs due to the formation of oleophobic surface boundary layers from common boundary-lubrication *** simple organic additives(amine,alcohol,amide,and fatty acid)with different molecular structures were employed as the model *** was found that the stronger chemisorption at 100℃,rather than the physisorption at 25℃,is more effective in friction reduction,which reaches 22%.What is more,EHD friction reduction was obtained in steel/steel contacts without use of the diamond-like carbon(DLC)coatings with their wetting or thermal effect,which was previously suggested as possible EHD friction reduction mechanism;yet about the same friction reduction of about 20%was obtained here—but with much simpler and less expensive technology,namely with the adsorbed oleophobic surface layers.A small variation in the additive’s molecular structure results in significant changes to the friction,indicating good potential in future EHD lubrication technology,where these additives could be designed and well optimised for notable reduction of the friction losses in the EHD regime.

The scientific interest in capsules with the shell composed of fused microparticles is still growing due to a large number of practical ***-designed capsules should ensure the safe cargo delivery and facilitate its controlled release on *** biocompatibility and biodegradability are additional essential features of structures intended for biomedical *** paper presents two kinds of ultrasound sensitive capsules:the first type with the homogeneous shell made of a monolayer of fine turmeric granules,and the other with Janus shell composed of two different materials *** granules and synthetic polystyrene *** demonstrated that plane ultrasonic waves with low intensity and high frequency and also focused ultrasound can act as a trigger for smooth liberation of a liquid cargo,in our case,the dispersion of probiotic *** ultrasound-induced puncture of the shell was followed by unidirectional and controlled release of encapsulated *** case of Janus structures,in addition to sonication time and ultrasound frequency,distinct mechanical properties of two shell regions also influenced the course of content liberation *** expect that the use of natural material such as turmeric granules for the formation of the shells of the ultrasound-responsive capsules can further increase the range of their potential applications.

Adjusting foraging strategies is a common phenomenon within groups of animals competing for the same *** polytocous mammals,neonates concurrently compete for limited milk and alternate between two foraging(suckling)strategies:adaptable exploratory foraging with random sampling of teats,and ordered foraging with a tendency towards exploiting a particular suckling *** theoretical(game theory)models have shown that weaker siblings in particular benefit from foraging specialization(suckling order).Neonate piglets establish a well-defined suckling order that develops gradually and fluctuates throughout the lactation period,implying the existence of inter-individual differences in foraging *** therefore analyzed suckling behavior in pigs to determine whether one foraging strategy was more beneficial to neonates in terms of their body weight and foraging *** found that intermediate and heavy littermates tended to adjust their suckling strategy according to the foraging environment;however,the selected foraging strategy did not affect their overall growth *** individuals that consumed significantly less milk did not greatly alternate their foraging strategy according to the foraging environment but their growth rate was significantly higher whenever they performed less-exploratory foraging *** suckling order appeared to be a relatively stable behavioral phenotype,it was beneficial exclusively for *** results confirm theoretical predictions and indicate that specializing in a suckling position is a beneficial strategy for weaker,light *** findings suggest that physically weaker neonates might have driven the evolution of neonatal foraging specialization.

The effect of Ce addition on the morphology of the α（Al）-Al2Cu eutectic in Al-Si-Cu alloy was investigated using thermal analysis, light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, focused ion beam and energy dispersive analysis. The results show that the eutectic α（Al）-Al2Cu forms within small space between dendrites, silicon and AlSiFeMn plates. Eutectic Al2Cu is not lamellar but degenerated. However, Al2Cu in Ce-modified alloys is more compact. Ce partially dissolves in Al2Cu, which is a viable reason for the formation of coarser Al2Cu. The addition of Ce also increases the microhardness of theα（Al）-Al2Cu eutectic by almost 10%compared with the basic Al-Si-Cu alloy.
