Path of Rural Vitalization Based on Coupling Perspective of Township Construction and Resource Environment in Jiangsu Province,China

Recently,the field of rural vitalization has received extensive research attention.However,only few studies have proposed an approach to rural vitalization from the coupling perspective of township construction and the resource environment.Taking Jiangsu Province of China as the study area,we constructed index systems of township construction function types and resource environments.Based on 875 township study units in Jiangsu,we characterized the township construction function type and resource environment and analyzed the dynamic process of their coupling from 2005 to 2017.The results are as follows:1)the townships of planting and breeding types in Jiangsu were mainly distributed in northern and central Jiangsu;the townships of business travel,industry,and integrated types were mainly distributed in southern Jiangsu;and the townships of ecological type were irregularly distributed throughout Jiangsu.2)Resource environment factors and township construction function types in Jiangsu clustered based on their location with some overlap.3)Spatial variability in the degree of coupling level between township construction and the resource environment in Jiangsu was not apparent,and low coupling levels accounted for most of the study units.The sum of the number of medium and high coupling townships in southern,central,and northern Jiangsu was roughly equal,and the coupling level between township construction and the resource environment in southern Jiangsu evolved remained unchanged,whereas that in the central and northern Jiangsu became imbalanced.4)In Jiangsu,township construction was mainly constrained by water resources,and the constraint parameters gradually increase.Large variability in resource environment constraint was observed in northern,central,and southern Jiangsu for different township construction function types.Based on these findings,we proposed the implementation of targeted rural vitalization strategies.

Ruthenium(Ru)has been recognized as a prospective candidate to substitute platinum catalysts in water-splitting-based hydrogen production.However,minimizing the Ru contents,optimizing the water dissociation energy of Ru sites,and enhancing the long-term stability are extremely required,but still face a great challenge.Here,we report on creating tungsten oxide-anchored Ru clusters(Ru-WO_(x))with electron-rich and anti-corrosive microenvironments for efficient and robust seawater splitting.Benefiting from the abundant oxygen vacancy structure in tungsten oxide support,the Ru-WO_(x)exhibits strong Ru-O and Ru-W bonds at the interface.Our study elucidates that the strong Ru-O bonds in Ru-WO_(x)may accelerate the water dissociation kinetics,and the Ru-W bonds will lead to the strong metal-support interaction and electrons transfer fromWto Ru.The optimal Ru-WO_(x)catalysts exhibit a low overpotential of 29 and 218mVat the current density of 10 ma cm^(−2) in alkaline and seawater media,respectively.The outstanding long-term stability discloses that the Ru-WO_(x)catalysts own efficient corrosion resistance in seawater electrolysis.We believe that thiswork offers new insights into the essential roles of electron-rich and anti-corrosivemicroenvironments in Ru-based catalysts and provide a new pathway to design efficient and robust cathodes for seawater splitting.

Sodium-based storage devices based on conversion-type metal sulfide anodes have attracted great atten-tion due to their multivalent ion redox reaction ability.However,they also suffer from sodium polysul-fides(NaPSs)shuttling problems during the sluggish Na^(+)redox process,leading to"voltage failure"and rapid capacity decay.Herein,a metal cobalt-doping vanadium disulfide(Co-vS_(2))is proposed to simulta-neously accelerate the electrochemical reaction of vS_(2) and enhance the bidirectional redox of soluble NaPSs.It is found that the strong adsorption of NaPSs by V-Co alloy nanoparticles formed in situ during the conversion reaction of Co-VS_(2) can effectively inhibit the dissolution and shuttle of NaPSs,and ther-modynamically reduce the formation energy barrier of the reaction path to effectively drive the complete conversion reaction,while the metal transition of Co elements enhances reconversion kinetics to achieve high reversibility.Moreover,Co-VS_(2) also produce abundant sulfur vacancies and unsaturated sulfur edge defects,significantly improve ionic/electron diffusion kinetics.Therefore,the Co-VS_(2) anode exhibits ultrahigh rate capability(562 ma h g^(-1) at 5 A g^(-1)),high initial coulombic efficiency(~90%)and 12,000 ultralong cycle life with capacity retention of 90%in sodium-ion batteries(SIBs),as well as impressive energy/power density(118 Wh kg^(-1)/31,250 W kg^(-1))and over 10.000 stable cycles in sodium-ion hybrid capacitors(SIHCs).Moreover,the pouch cell-type SIHC displays a high-energy density of 102 Wh kg^(-1) and exceed 600 stable cycles.This work deepens the understanding of the electrochem-ical reaction mechanism of conversion-type metal sulfide anodes and provides a valuable solution to the shuttlingofNaPSs inSIBsandSIHCs.

Popularization of lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs) is still hindered by shuttle effect and volume expansion.Herein, a new modularized sulfur storage strategy is proposed to solve above problems and accomplished via employing 100% space utilization host material of cobalt loaded carbon nanoparticles derived from ZIF-67. The modular dispersed storage of sulfur not only greatly increases the proportion of active sulfur,but also inhibits the occurrence of volume expansion. Meanwhile, 100% space utilization host material can greatly improve the conductivity of the cathode, provide a larger electrolyte wetting interface and effectively suppress the shuttle effect. Moreover, loaded cobalt particles have high catalytic activity for electrochemical reaction and can effectively improve the redox kinetics. The cell with new cathode host material carbonized at 650 ℃(ZIF-67(650 ℃)) exhibits superior rate performance and can maintain a high specific capacity of 950 m Ah/g after 100 cycles at 0.2 C, showing a good cycle stability.

Along with the aggravation of climate change, various weather and climate extreme events(abbreviated as climate extremes) are becoming more frequent. During the transition to the use of clean energy, the power system will show increasingly prominent features such as high ratio of clean energy, high ratio of electrification, and a high proportion of electric and electronic equipment, coupled with summer and winter load peaks. Against this backdrop, this paper studies the impacts of climate extremes on the power system using the Texas power outage as an example,and proposes general adaptation measures to cope with climate extremes. For a start, this paper reviews the power outage in Texas caused by an extreme cold wave across the North America in 2021, and conducts an in-depth analysis of its causes. Then, based on the theoretical framework of disaster risk management, this paper analyzes the weather and climate disaster risks, extreme events, exposure, and vulnerability faced by the power system in the context of climate change and extreme events. Finally, in order to build a new power system, this paper establishes an overall framework for the power system to mitigate and adapt to climate change, and summarizes the key techniques involved in power generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption, as well as key technologies in the fields of power supply, power grid, power load, and energy storage, and the strategies and measures for addressing climate change.

Study of the Carbon Neutral Path in China: A Literature Review

After the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals were proposed, different institutions and scholars carried out research on China’s medium-and long-term mitigation pathways. Through the literature review of China’s research on carbon neutrality, this paper finds that the zero-carbon energy transition is the key to achieving carbon neutrality. The main driving factors of reducing energy-related carbon emissions include the cleanliness of primary and secondary energy supply systems, the electrification of energy consumption and the development of hydrogen energy,energy efficiency improvement, carbon capture and storage(CCS), and negative emissions.Furthermore, based on the literature, this paper conducts a quantitative comparative analysis, and selects key indicators for comparative analysis and summary from seven dimensions, including economic and social development, carbon emission pathways, primary energy consumption, final energy consumption, final hydrogen energy consumption, electricity demand and supply, and installed capacity and structure of power generation. main conclusions are as follows:(i) In terms of carbon emission pathways, the institutions generally believed that China will peak carbon emissions around 2028 and achieve carbon neutrality between 2050 and 2060. Achieving net-zero or near-zero emissions first in the power sector is the key to carbon neutrality across the society;(ii) In terms of energy supply, it is a consensus to increase the proportion of clean energy and reduce carbon emissions from the source. The proportion of clean energy in primary energy will increase to more than 85%, and the proportion of clean energy power generation and installed capacity will reach more than 90%;(iii) In terms of energy use, electricity will become the core of final energy consumption in the future. The predicted electricity consumption across the society will range 14.3–18.4 PWh, and the predicted electrification rate will exceed 65%.

Updated prevalence of latent prostate cancer in Chinese population and comparison of biopsy results: An autopsy-based study

Prostate cancer detected by autopsy is named latent prostate cancer.As the repertoire of clinical prostate cancer,latent cancer may better reflect the disease burden.Unlike clinical prostate specimens,which are obtained exclusively from biopsy-positive cases,prostate specimens obtained through autopsy provide information on biopsy-negative cases,helping calculate the true sensitivity of prostate biopsy.From 2014 to 2021,we collected autopsy specimens of the prostate from body donors in China and performed transperineal and transrectal biopsies on specimens before step-sectioning and pathological measurements.We found that the crude prevalence of latent prostate cancer in middle-aged and elderly men was 35.1%(81/231),which was higher than previous estimates for Chinese populations.The overall per-patient sensitivities of transperineal and transrectal biopsies were not significantly different(33.3%vs.32.1%,p=0.82),but the two approaches differed in preferential sampling area along the proximal-distal axis of the prostate.Transperineal biopsy had a higher sensitivity for detecting clinically significant lesions in the distal third(34.7%vs.16.3%,p=0.02)and distal half(30.6%vs.18.1%,p=0.04),while transrectal biopsy had a higher sensitivity for lesions in the proximal half(25.0%vs.13.9%,p=0.046).Both transperineal and transrectal methods of biopsy missed most small lesions(0.5 mL).In conclusion,the prevalence of latent prostate cancer in China has increased over the past 2 decades.Systematic transperineal and transrectal methods of biopsy had comparable sensitivities but had different preferential sampling areas.Both approaches miss one-third of large lesions.

催化裂化外甩油浆(简称油浆)中的催化剂固体颗粒是影响其理化性质和高值化利用的瓶颈,因而油浆脱固技术成为油浆高值化深加工的关键突破口。鉴于目前主流的油浆脱固方法——药剂沉降法对高黏度油浆的脱固效果并不理想,以国内某炼油厂的油浆Z为研究对象,通过调节温度、引入稀释组分、加入黏度改性剂等方式改变油浆黏度,从而有效实现了高黏度油浆脱固。结果表明,将温度升高到130℃或加入质量分数0.1%的黏度改性剂,可将油浆脱固率提高到80%以上;通过加入柴油或芳烃溶剂油等稀释组分,可将油浆脱固率提高到95%以上。

乡村协商民主是全过程人民民主的重要实践形式,而协商代表作为乡村协商中的能动因素对乡村协商质量具有显著影响,但具体的影响机制和作用条件尚缺乏足够的讨论。通过建构分布式协商的概念框架,试图在“结构—过程—功能”三维视角下考察协商代表驱动乡村高质量协商的影响因素和逻辑机制。基于对华中S村L湾组协商推动绿植项目落地的调查,发现协商代表需要在对象、主体、内容、方式四个维度形成分布衔接的代表结构,以解决协商代表结构产生的规范性问题。同时,还要通过设置分类议题、分层单元、分步递进的多元化协商形态,将“代表链条”有机嵌入具体的协商进程之中,以实现结构性的代表链条与过程性的协商形态深度融合。由此在协商的系统层面上实现主体的包容性、环节的衔接性、要素的多样性的协商功能,趋向于形成一种乡村高质量协商的实然状态。分布式协商是中国基层代表治理的有益探索,其内含的协商代表与协商形态双向互嵌所呈现出的高质量协商是乡村全过程人民民主的生动呈现。而乡村协商代表作为中国基层治理现代化研究中新的生长点和延伸点,既是对传统代表研究的深化拓展,也是对西方代表理论的超越,将不断丰富和拓展全过程人民民主的理论内涵和实践形态。
