Effect of cis/trans molecular structures on pyrolysis performance and heat sink of decalin isomers

Decalin is considered as an important compound of high-energy-density endothermic fuel,which is an ideal on-board coolant for thermal management of advanced ***,decalin contains two isomers with a tunable composition,and their effects on the pyrolysis performance,such as the heat sink and coking tendency have not been ***,we investigated the pyrolysis of decalin isomers,i.e.,cis-decalin,trans-decalin and their mixtures(denoted as mix-decalin),in order to clarify the effects of the cis-/trans-structures on the pyrolysis performance of decalin *** pyrolysis results confirmed that conversion of the tested fuels(600–725℃,4 MPa)decreased in the order cis-decalin>mix-decalin>*** analyses of the pyrolysis products were used to compare the product distributions from cis-decalin,mix-decalin and trans-decalin,and the yields of some typical components(such as cyclohexene,1-methylcyclohexene,benzene and toluene)showed significant differences,which could be ascribed to deeper cracking of ***,the heat sinks and coking tendencies of the decalins decreased in the order cis-decalin>mix-decalin>*** work demonstrates the relationship between the cis/trans structures and the pyrolysis performance of decalin,which provides a better understanding of the structure-activity relationships of endothermic hydrocarbon fuels.

Mechanical properties of multi-scale germanium specimens from space solar cells under electron irradiation

During long-term service in space,Gallium Arsenide(GaAs)solar cells are directly exposed to electron irradiation which usually causes a dramatic decrease in their *** the multilayer structure of solar cells,the germanium(Ge)layer occupies the majority of the thickness as the *** to the intrinsic brittleness of semiconductor material,there exist various defects during the preparation and assembly of solar cells,the influences of which tend to be intensified by the irradiation *** this work,first,Ge specimens for mechanical tests were prepared at scales from microscopic to ***,after different doses of electron irradiation,the mechanical properties of the Ge specimens were *** experimental results demonstrate that electron irradiation has an obvious effect on the mechanical property variation of Ge in diverse *** four-point bending test indicates that the elastic modulus,fracture strength,and maximum displacement of the Ge specimens all increase,and reach the maximum value at the irradiation dose of 1×10^(15)e/cm^(2).The micrometer scale cantilever and nanoindentation tests present similar trends for Ge specimens after *** Force Microscope(AFM)also observed the change in surface ***,a fitting model was established to characterize the relation between modulus change and electron irradiation dose.

The experimental realization of Rydberg dressing technology in ultracold atomic systems provides another superior platform for studying novel states of matter and macroscopic quantum *** this work,based on the mean-field theory,we have investigated the ground-state phases of a two-component Bose–Einstein condensate with Rydberg interaction and confined in a toroidal *** effects of the Rydberg interaction and external potential,especially the Rydberg blockade radius,on the ground-state structure of such a system have been investigated in full parameter *** results show that the Rydberg blockade radius,which can be regarded as another controllable parameter,can be used to obtain a variety of ground-state *** interestingly,it is found that for weak Rydberg interactions,the Rydberg blockade radius breaks the spontaneous rotational symmetry of the system,leading to the formation of a discrete unit cell *** strongly interacting cases,it can be used to realize different orders of discrete rotational symmetry breaking.

Study of the reaction mechanism for preparing powdered activated coke with SO_(2)adsorption capability via one-step rapid activation method under flue gas atmosphere

In this study,the impact of different reaction times on the preparation of powdered activated carbon(PAC)using a one-step rapid activation method under flue gas atmosphere is investigated,and the underlying reaction mechanism is *** indicate that the reaction process of this method can be divided into three stages:stage I is the rapid release of volatiles and the rapid consumption of O_(2),primarily occurring within a reaction time range of 0-0.5 s;stage II is mainly the continuous release and diffusion of volatiles,which is the carbonization and activation coupling reaction stage,and the carbonization process is the main in this *** stage mainly occurs at the reaction time range of 0.5 -2.0 s when SL-coal is used as material,and that is 0.5-3.0 s when JJ-coal is used as material;stage III is mainly the activation stage,during which activated components diffuse to both the surface and interior of *** stage mainly involves the reaction stage of CO_(2)and H2O(g)activation,and it mainly occurs at the reaction time range of 2.0-4.0 s when SL-coal is used as material,and that is 3.0-4.0 s when JJ-coal is used as ***,the main function of the first two stages is to provide more diffusion channels and contact surfaces/activation sites for the diffusion and activation of the activated components in the third *** the reaction mechanism would serve as a crucial reference and foundation for designing the structure,size of the reactor,and optimal positioning of the activator nozzle in PAC preparation.

Full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides are catching lots of interest as the next generation cathode for lithium-ion batteries due to their high discharge voltage,reduced voltage decay and enhanced rate performance,whereas the high lithium residues on its surface impairs the structure stability and long-term cycle ***,a facile multifunctional surface modification method is implemented to eliminate surface lithium residues of full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides by a wet chemistry reaction with tetrabutyl titanate and the post-annealing *** realizes not only a stable Li_(2)TiO_(3)coating layer with 3D diffusion channels for fast Li^(+)ions transfer,but also dopes partial Ti^(4+)ions into the sub-surface region of full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides to further strengthen its crystal ***,the modified full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides exhibit improved structure stability,elevated thermal stability with decomposition temperature from 289.57℃to 321.72℃,and enhanced cycle performance(205.1 mah g^(-1)after 150 cycles)with slowed voltage drop(1.67 mV per cycle).This work proposes a facile and integrated modification method to enhance the comprehensive performance of full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides,which can facilitate its practical application for developing higher energy density lithium-ion batteries.

Convenient non-invasive flow monitoring would facilitate the operation and control in microfluidic chips,but is challenging due to the small space of microchannels and complex operation required in traditional optical *** this work,we propose a novel non-invasive strategy to probe microfluidic flows via streaming potential *** sealing one side of the microchannel with a piece of hydrogel film,streaming potential inside the channel can be clearly detected by electrodes at outer surface of the hydrogel due to ion diffusion in the *** is detected without sensors contacting with the internal ***,the electrodes shape like a tiny probe,which can move around mapping the flow distribution in a chip with the spatial resolution of 1 mm and flow rate detection limit of 3μL·min–*** inside the channels can also be detected,due to the fluctuation of streaming voltage when gas-liquid interface flows through the electrode,showing an easy and potential way for multi-functional flow monitoring in microfluidic chips.

The deformation monitoring of long-span railway bridges is significant to ensure the safety of human life and *** interferometric synthetic aperture radar(In SAR)technology has the advantage of high accuracy in bridge deformation *** study monitored the deformation of the Ganjiang Super Bridge based on the small baseline subsets(SBAS)In SAR technology and Sentinel-1A *** analyzed the deformation results combined with bridge structure,temperature,and riverbed sediment *** results are as follows:(1)The Ganjiang Super Bridge area is stable overall,with deformation rates ranging from-15.6 mm/yr to 10.7 mm/yr(2)The settlement of the Ganjiang Super Bridge deck gradually increases from the bridge tower toward the main span,which conforms to the typical deformation pattern of a cable-stayed bridge.(3)The sediment scouring from the riverbed cause the serious settlement on the bridge’s east side compared with that on the west side.(4)The bridge deformation negatively correlates with temperature,with a faster settlement at a higher temperature and a slow rebound trend at a lower *** study findings can provide scientific data support for the health monitoring of long-span railway bridges.

Introduction:The Nugent score,limited by subjectivity and personnel requirements,lacks *** a precise and simple molecular test is therefore essential for detecting vaginal microbiota compositions and evaluating vaginal ***:We evaluated the vaginal health of Chinese women using quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qPCR)to target Lactobacillus crispatus(***),***,Gardnerella vaginalis(***),Atopobium vaginae(***),and Megasphaera *** vaginosis(BV)-related bacteria shared a fluorescent *** 16S rDNA sequencing as a reference standard,we evaluated and validated the diagnostic accuracy of the qPCR ***:Both qPCR and 16S rDNA sequencing demonstrated 90.5%concordance in segregating vaginal community state type(CST),as visualized through heatmaps and ***’s correlation analysis revealed strong correlations between the two methods in calculating the RA of ***(CST I),***(CST III),and BV-related bacteria(CST IV),with coefficients of 0.865,0.837,and 0.827,*** operating characteristic analysis showed that qPCR had significant diagnostic accuracy for CST I,CST III,and CST IV(molecular BV),with area under the curve values of 0.967,0.815,and 0.950,respectively,indicating strong predictive ***:Vaginal health can be evaluated using a single qPCR amplification experiment,making the multiplex qPCR assay a highly accurate tool for this purpose.

Clinical study of enhanced recovery after surgery in laparoscopic appendectomy for acute appendici

BACKGROUND Enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)protocol is a comprehensive manage-ment modality that promotes patient recovery,especially in the patients undergo-ing digestive tumor ***,it is less commonly used in the *** To study the application value of ERAS in laparoscopic surgery for acute *** A total of 120 patients who underwent laparoscopic appendectomy due to acute appendicitis were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table method,including 63 patients in the experimental group and 57 patients in the control *** in the experimental group were managed with the ERAS protocol,and those in the control group were received the tra-ditional *** exhaust time,the hospitalization duration,the hospita-lization expense and the pain score between the two groups were *** There was no significant difference in age,gender,body mass index and Sunshine Appendicitis Grading System score between the experimental group and the con-trol group(P>0.05).Compared to the control group,the patients in the expe-rimental group had earlier exhaust time,shorter hospitalization time,less hospi-talization cost and lower degree of pain *** differences were statis-tically significant(P<0.01).CONCLUSION ERAS could significantly accelerate the recovery of patients who underwent la-paroscopic appendectomy for acute appendicitis,shorten the hospitalization time and reduce hospitalization *** is a safe and effective approach.
