A Facile Li2TiO3 Surface Modification to Improve the Structure Stability and Electrochemical Performance of Full Concentration Gradient Li-Rich Oxides

Full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides are catching lots of interest as the next generation cathode for lithium-ion batteries due to their high discharge voltage,reduced voltage decay and enhanced rate performance,whereas the high lithium residues on its surface impairs the structure stability and long'term cycle performance. Herein,a facile multifunctional surface modification method is implemented to eliminate surface lithium residues of full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides by a wet chemistry reaction with tetrabutyl titanate and the post-annealing process. It realizes not only a stable Li2TiO3coating layer with 3D diffusion channels for fast Li+ions transfer,but also dopes partial Ti4+ions into the sub-surface region of full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides to further strengthen its crystal structure. Consequently,the modified full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides exhibit improved structure stability,elevated thermal stability with decomposition temperature from 289.57℃to321.72℃,and enhanced cycle performance (205.1 mah g-1after 150 cycles)with slowed voltage drop （1.67 mV per cycle）. This work proposes a facile and integrated modification method to enhance the comprehensive performance of full concentration gradient lithium-rich layered oxides,which can facilitate its practical application for developing higher energy density lithium-ion batteries.

Owing to limited observations,it remains unknown whether the impact of El Niño-Southern Oscillation(ENSO)on the Indian Ocean-Northwest Pacific(IO-NWP)climate showed decadal changes in the early 20th *** multi-source reanalysis and hindcast datasets from the ECMWF and NOAA extending back to 1901,this study investigates interdecadal variations of the impact of ENSO on the IO-NWP climate from 1901 to *** is found that the influence of ENSO on the IO-NWP climate shows“strong-weak-strong”interdecadal change during *** is characterized by much weaker Indian Ocean sea surface temperature(SST)warming and a weaker NWP subtropical anticyclone(NWPSA)in the following summer of El Ni?o during 1946-1967,compared with those in the other two periods(1901-1945 and 1968-2009).Analyses of the datasets indicate that the interdecadal variation is mainly associated with the change in ENSO *** contrast to the period of 1946-1967,a greater SST variance occurred in the central-eastern equatorial Pacific during 1901-1945 and 1968-2009.A stronger El Ni?o tends to generate more significant anticyclonic anomalies over the southeast Indian Ocean through *** northwesterly anomalies to the south of the anticyclone weaken the southeast trade winds and warm the south Indian Ocean SST via wind-evaporation-SST feedback,and the positive south Indian Ocean SST anomalies trigger westward-propagating oceanic Rossby waves to induce stronger warming of the southwest Indian Ocean,leading to a significant asymmetric wind pattern across the equator in *** profound northeastward winds on the north side weaken the southwest monsoon,leading to a“second warming”over the north Indian Ocean in summer,which anchors the eastward-propagating warm Kelvin waves and results in a stronger NWPSA by inducing surface divergence and suppressing deep convection.

A series of novel side-chain liquid crystalline (SCLC) copolymers were synthesized by attaching two distinct mesogenic units, namely a chiral cholesteryl-based monomer (M1) and an achiral biphenyl-based monomer (M2), to a poly(3-mercaptopropylmethylsiloxane)(PMMS) backbone via thiol-ene click chemistry. The influence of side chain composition on the self-assembly behavior and phase structures of these SCLC copolymers was systematically investigated using different instrument. Results indicate that three distinct liquid crystalline phases and four unique molecular configurations were identified within the polymer series, with the emergence of the liquid crystalline phase being a synergistic outcome of the two distinct side chains. This study underscores the critical influence of side chain dimensions, rigidity, and spatial volume on the self-assembly structures and phase characteristics of liquid crystalline polymers, providing valuable insights for the rational design and development of advanced functional materials with tailored properties.

Background The assembled data from a population could provide information on health trends within the *** aim of this research was to extract and know basic health information from an urban professional population in *** Data analysis was carried out in a population who underwent a routine medical check-up and aged 〉20 years,including 30 058 *** information,data from physical examinations and blood samples were collected in the same *** health status was separated into three groups by the criteria generated in this study,i.e.,people with common chronic diseases,people in a sub-clinic situation,and healthy *** proportion of both common diseases suffered and health risk distribution of different age groups were also *** The proportion of people with common chronic diseases,in the sub-clinic group and in the healthy group was 28.6%,67.8% and 3.6% *** were significant differences in the health situation in different age *** was on the top of list of self-reported *** proportion of chronic diseases increased significantly in people after 35 years of ***,the proportion of sub-clinic conditions was decreasing at the same *** complex risk factors to health in this population were metabolic disturbances （61.3%）,risk for tumor （2.7%）,abnormal results of morphological examination （8.2%） and abnormal results of lab tests of serum （27.8%）.Conclusions Health information could be extracted from a complex data set from the heath check-ups of the general *** information should be applied to support prevention and control chronic diseases as well as for directing intervention for patients with risk factors for disease.
