In this editorial,we comment on the article by meng et al published in the World Journal of Clinical *** comprehensively review immunoglobulin A nephro-pathy(IgAN),including epidemiology,clinical presentation,diagnosis,and ***,also known as Berger's disease,is the most frequent type of primary glomerulonephritis(GN)*** is mostly found among the Asian *** presentation can be variable,from microscopic hematuria to a rapidly progressive *** 50%of patients present with single or recurring episodes of gross *** upper respiratory infection and tonsillitis often precede these *** 30%of patients present microscopic hematuria with or without proteinuria,usually detected on routine *** diagnosis relies on having a renal biopsy for pathology and immunofluorescence *** focus on risk stratification and management of *** provide a review of all the landmark studies to *** to the 2021 KDIGO(kidney disease:Improving Global Outcomes)guidelines,patients with non-variant form IgAN are first treated conservatively for three to six *** approach consists of adequate blood pressure control,reduction of proteinuria with renin-angiotensin system blockade,treatment of dyslipidemia,and lifestyle modifications(weight loss,exercise,smoking cessation,and dietary sodium restrictions).Following three to six months of conservative therapy,patients are further classified as high or low risk for disease ***-risk patients have proteinuria≥1 g/d ormicroscopic hematuria and active inflammation on kidney *** experts consider proteinuria≥2 g/d to be very high *** with high and very high-risk profiles are treated with immunosuppressive therapy.A proteinuria level ofm-proved renal function indicates a good treatment response for patients on immu-nosuppressive therapy.

Properties of Bark Particleboard Bonded with Demethylated Lignin Adhesives Derived from Leucaena leucocephala Bark

Lignin extraction from bark can maximize the utilization of biomass waste,offer cost-effectiveness,and promote environmental friendliness when employed as an adhesive material in bark particleboard *** of fine(0.2 to 1.0 mm),medium(1.0 to 2.5 mm),and coarse(2.5 to 12.0 mm)sizes,derived from the bark of Leucaena leucocephala,were hot-pressed using a heating plate at 175℃for 7 min to create single-layer particleboards measuring 320 mm×320 mm×10 mm,targeting a density of 700 kg/m^(3).Subsequently,the samples were trimmed and conditioned at 20℃and 65%relative *** this study,we compared bark particleboard bonded with urea formaldehyde(UF)adhesive to fine-sized particleboard bonded with demethylated lignin *** results indicated that bark particleboards utilizing demethylated lignin and UF adhesives exhibited similar *** particleboard showed differences in modulus of elasticity(mOE)and modulus of rupture(mOR),while medium-sized particles exhibited significant variations in moisture content(mC)and water absorption(WA).Furthermore,the thickness swelling of coarse and medium-sized particles under wet and oven-dried conditions exhibited notable ***,the demethylated lignin adhesive extracted from *** bark demonstrated similar quality to UF adhesive,with particle size correlating inversely to the strength of the bark particleboard.

In this editorial we comment on the article published by Zhang et al in the recent issue of World Journal of Clinical *** evaluate their claims on the benefit of use of Aspirin in the early management of patients with ischemic *** also comment on their contention of using aspirin in the early management of patients with intracranial hemorrhage,a practice not seen in modern *** clinical trials such as the International Stroke Trial and the Chinese Acute Stroke Trial have shown the benefit of Aspirin use within 48 h of patients with Acute Ischemic *** findings were corroborated in the open-label trial performed by Zhang et al in a smaller sample group of 25 patients where they showed improvement in functional scores at 90 days without an increase in adverse *** such,this intervention is also recommended by the American Heart Association stroke guidelines from *** regard to Intracranial hemorrhage,traditional practice has been to discontinue or avoid antiplatelet therapy in these patient ***,no studies have been done to evaluate this management strategy that is more borne out of the mechanism behind Aspirin’s effect on the coagulation *** et al evaluate the benefits of Aspirin on patients with low-volume intracranial hemorrhage,i.e.,less than 30 mL on computed tomo-graphy imaging,and show no increase in *** caveat of this finding is that all outcomes were pooled into one group for results,and the number of patients was *** more studies with larger patient groups are required,the data from Zhang et al suggests that patients with small-volume intracranial hemorrhages may benefit from Aspirin administration in the acute phase of management.

Hepatolithiasis(HL)poses a significant risk for cholangiocarcinoma(CCA)development,with reported incidences ranging from 5%-13%.Risk factors include older age,smoking,hepatitis B infection,and prolonged HL *** inflammation and mechanical stress on the biliary epithelium contribute to CCA *** reduces CCA risk by removing stones and atrophic liver ***,residual stones and incomplete removal increase CCA *** et al identified carbohydrate antigen 19-9,carcinoembryonic antigen,and stone laterality as CCA risk factors,reaffirming the importance of complete stone ***,challenges remain in preventing CCA recurrence ***-term studies are needed to elucidate CCA risk factors further.

Energy conservation is a crucial issue to extend the lifetime of wireless sensor networks(WSNs)where the battery capacity and energy sources are very *** energy-saving techniques can help designers overcome this issue by reducing the number of selected sensors that report environmental measurements by eliminating all replicated and unrelated *** paper suggests a Hybrid Sensor Selection(HSS)technique that combines filter-wrappermethod to acquire a rich-informational subset of sensors in a reasonable *** aims to increase the lifetime of WSNs by using the optimal number of *** the same time,HSS maintains the desired level of accuracy and manages sensor failures with the most suitable number of sensors without compromising the *** evaluation of the HSS technique has adopted four experiments by using four different *** experiments show that HSS can extend the WSNs lifetime and increase the accuracy using a sufficient number of sensors without affecting ***,to ensure HSS credibility and reliability,the proposed HSS technique has been compared to other corresponding methodologies and shows its superiority in energy conservation at premium accuracy measures.

This editorial aimed to consolidate the current evidence in literature on the association between myasthenia gravis(mG)and cardiac involvement,focusing on the impact of thymoma,antistriational antibodies,and late-onset ***,the study aimed to explore the influence of genetic differences among populations on the association with cardiac *** conducted a review of existing literature in Pubmed and Google Scholar to find relevant studies on cardiac involvement in *** created search criteria using a combination of free text words,including mG,antistriational antibodies,thymectomy,cardiomyopathy,myocarditis,arrhythmias,autonomic *** articles published in English language were analyzed and *** findings indicate a strong association between thymoma,myasthenic crisis,antistriational antibodies,and late-onset mG with cardiac *** study also revealed that genetic differences among populations influence the risk of cardiac disease and electrocardiography(ECG)abnormalities in mG *** dysfunctions altered cardiac autonomic response and increased susceptibility to arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death in mG *** study supports the significance of thymoma,antistriational antibodies,and late-onset mG as key factors associated with cardiac involvement in mG *** emphasizes the importance of ECG as the initial test in managing mG patients,particularly in the perioperative period,to identify and genetic testing if needed to address their cardiac risk effectively.
