Crassostrea(magallana)saidii has been commercially ranched in malaysia and consumed for more than 160 years,but it was only recently identified as a new species to *** study was conducted to evaluate the reproductive phenology of C.(m.)*** of 30 individual oysters were taken monthly for 15 months from the sole population at Sungai muar estuary in Johor,*** sex ratio was 1:1.64(male:female)for all examined specimens,with female numbers significantly *** was detected in 1.56%of all *** peaks in April(2019)and November(2018 and 2019),and were positively associated with the increased rainfall *** occurred throughout the research period with temporal *** highest values of maturity index(mI)were recorded in march,August and October 2019,when most oysters were in matured and maturing *** index(CI)ranged from 31.90±1.25(April 2019)to 70.03±3.23(October 2019),exhibiting two peaks(march and October 2019)and subsequently reduced in CI indicating spawning consistency with histological *** stressors such as heavy sedimentation and inland development are threatening the survival of this *** understanding of their reproductive biology is essential to ensure the survival and sustainability of C.(m.)saidii fishery.

OBJECTIVE： Geophila repens （L.） I. m. Johnst. （Rubiaceae）, a small, creeping, perennial herb, is claimed to have memory-enhancing property. The goal of this study was to assess its antioxidant and anticholinesterase activity and conduct a rapid bioautographic enzyme assay for screening acetylcholinesterase （ACHE） and butyrylcholinesterase （BChE） inhibition of G. repens extracts. mETHODS： Antioxidant activity of G. repens extracts was assessed by performing 1,1-diphenyl-2- picrylhydrazyl （DPPH）, nitric oxide （NO）, superoxide （SOD）, hydroxyl （OH） and total antioxidant capacity （TAC） assays. Anticholinesterase activity was investigated by quantifying the AChE and BChE inhibitory activities of chloroform （CGR）, ethyl acetate （EGR） and methanol （mGR） extract fractions from G. repens leaves. A rapid high-performance thin-layer chromatography （HPTLC） bioautographic method for the detection of AChE and BChE inhibition was performed. RESULTS： Among all extract fractions, EGR exhibited the highest half maximal inhibitory concentration （IC50） in DPPH, SOD, NO, OH and TAC assays, with IC50 of （38.33 ± 3.21）, （45.14 ±1.78）, （59.81± 1.32）, （39.45 ± 0.79） and （43.76 ± 0.81 ） μg/mL respectively. EGR displayed competitive, reversible inhibition of AChE and BChE activities with IC50 of （68.63±0.45） and （59.45 ±0.45）μg/mL, respectively. Total phenolic and flavonoids contents of EGR were found to be 360.42 mg gallic acid equivalents and 257.31 mg quercetin equivalents per gram of extract. Phytoconstituents of the EGR extract that were inhibitors of cholinesterase produced white spots on the yellow background of HPTLC plates in the bioautographic test. CONCLUSION： The results of this study revealed that phenols and flavonoids could be responsible for the antioxidant, anticholinesterase activities of G. repens.

在含高放核废料的玻璃固化体中添加了不同含量的Cr2O3,以考察其对玻璃固化体的结构和性质的影响.对添加Cr2O3的玻璃固化体进行了各种方法(溶出速率法,蒸汽水化侵蚀和试样坚固性法)的化学稳定性的测试.测试结果表明,Cr2O3的引入不会对玻璃固化体的化学稳定性产生不良的影响.与此相反,Cr2O3能抑制各种离子自玻璃固化体中沥析出来, 改善玻璃固化体的化学耐蚀性. XRD内标法测定,Cr2O3在铁磷酸盐玻璃中的溶解度可达4.1%,是其在硼硅酸盐玻璃的3倍. FTIR和DTA的结果表明,不同含量的Cr2O3的引入, 不会对玻璃固化体的网络结构造成显著的变化. mossbauer谱表明,Fe2+/Fe3+的比值随着Cr2O3的含量的增加而增大,说明Cr离子和Fe离子在玻璃熔制过程中发生氧化还原反应, 形成的Cr+6有利于提高玻璃固化体的化学耐蚀性.

We report and analyze observational evidence of global kink oscillations in a solar filament as observed in Ha by instruments administered by National Solar Observatory （NSO）/Global Oscillation Network Group （GONG）. An m1.1-class flare in active region （AR） 11692 occurred on 2013 march 15 and induced a global kink mode in the filament lying towards the southwest of AR 11692. We find periods of about 61-67 minutes and damping times of 92-117 minutes at positions of three ver- tical slices chosen in and around the filament apex. We find that the waves are damped. From the observed period of the global kink mode and damping timescale using the theory of resonant absorption, we perform prominence seismology. We estimate a lower cut-off value for the inhomogeneity length scale to be around 0.34-0.44 times the radius of the filament cross-section.

The aims of the present study is to develop a powder based steel used as backing plate for heavy duty brake pad applications. Three powder based back plate steel compositions namely B1 (C- 0.3, Cu – 1.5, P -0.3, Fe – 97.9), B2 (C- 0.1, Cu – 2.5, SiC-1, Fe – 96.4) and B3(C- 0.5, Cu – 2.5, SiC-1, Fe – 96.0) were prepared using a hot powder preform forging technique. The forged samples are of (25× 50×10 mm3) dimensions. These samples were hot rolled and annealed to relieve the residual stresses. These samples were characterized in terms of microstructure, porosity content/densification, hardness and tensile properties. Densification as high near to theoretical density has been realized. Hot powder preform forging using closed die showed better densification. Rolled and annealed microstructure showed lesser porosity content than the forged one. Phosphorous causes hardening of ferrite in solid solution with iron. Compositions B1, showed reasonable elongation and it improved further on annealing. It was observed in this present investigation that, the addition, such as SiC and Cu caused increase in strength. Steel developed in the investigation are used as powder based backing plate in manufacturing of iron based brake pads used in heavy duty applications.

Y-type hexagonal ferrites with the nominal chemical composition Ba2Ni2-xZnxFe12O22 (0.0 ≤ x ≤ 0.6 with a step of 0.1) have been synthesized by the conventional solid state reaction method and sintered in the temperature range 1150℃-1250℃ to study their structural and magnetic properties. The aim of the present work is to increase the magnetic properties of Y-type hexaferrites by Zn substitution. X-ray diffraction analysis confirms the formation of the hexagonal phase. The effect of chemical composition on the lattice parameter, density and porosity is studied. The lattice parameter increases with Zn substitution. The density increases with Zn substitution up to a certain level and after that density decreases. The ac magnetic properties of the hexaferrites sintered at temperature 1200℃ are characterized within the frequency range 100 kHz -120 mHz. The real part (μi') of the complex initial permeability for different compositions indicates that μi' decreases with increase in frequency. The permeability increases with the increase in Zn content, reaches a maximum value and then decreases with further increase in Zn content. magnetization has been measured using the Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID) magnetometer. The saturation magnetization is observed to be maximum at x = 0.1 and then decreases with Zn content for x > 0.1. From the m-H curve it is clear that at room temperature the polycrystalline Ba2Ni2-xZnxFe12O22 compositions are in ferrimagnetic state.
