The treatment of patients with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD),especially those with severe or refractory disease,represents an important challenge for the clinical *** seems to be no exaggeration to say that in these patients,not only the scientific background of the gastroenterologist is tested,but also the abundance of“gifts”that he should possess(insight,intuition,determ-ination,ability to take initiative,etc.)for the successful outcome of the *** daily clinical practice,depending on the severity of the attack,IBD is treated with one or a combination of two or more pharmaceutical *** combin-ations include not only the first-line drugs(e.g.,mesalazine,corticosteroids,antibiotics,etc)but also second-and third-line drugs(immunosuppressants and biologic agents).It is a fact that despite the significant therapeutic advances there is still a significant percentage of patients who do not satisfactorily respond to the treatment ***,a part of these patients are going to *** recent years,several small-size clinical studies,reviews,and case reports have been published combining not only biological agents with other drugs(e.g.,immunosuppressants or corticosteroids)but also the combination of two biologi-cal agents simultaneously,especially in severe *** our opinion,it is at least a strange(and largely unexplained)fact that we often use combinations of drugs in a given patient although studies comparing the simultaneous administration of two or more drugs with monotherapy are very *** mentioned above,there is a timid tendency in the literature to combine two biological agents in severe cases unresponsive to the applied treatment or patients with severe extraintestinal *** appropriate dosage,the duration of the administration,the suitable timing for checking the clinical and laboratory outcome,as well as the treatment side-effects,should be the subject of intense clinical research *** this

In recent years, there has been an increase in concern regarding the effects of paracetamol poisoning on liver tissues, particularly when consumed in large amounts. Some studies have estimated that paracetamol is involved in 56% of acute liver diseases, whereas 0.4% of paracetamol overdose cases result in fatal-ity. In this study, the effects of moringa oleifera on paracetamol toxicity in the liver were explored. It has been demonstrated that moringa oleifera is highly nu-tritious, contains bioactive molecules, and is therapeutically beneficial. many studies have shown that moringa oleifera leaves possess a wide range of biologi-cal properties, including antioxidant, tissue protection, analgesic, antihyperten-sive, and immunomodulatory activities. This study highlights the protective role of moringa oleifera on handling possible paracetamol hepatotoxicity in male rats. .

manipulating circularly polarized(CP)electromagnetic(Em)waves at will is significantly important for a wide range of applications ranging from chiral-molecule manipulations to optical ***,conventional Em devices based on natural materials suffer from limited functionalities,bulky configurations,and low ***,Pancharatnam-Berry(PB)phase metasurfaces have shown excellent capabilities in controlling CP waves in different frequency domains,thereby allowing for multi-functional PB meta-devices that integrate distinct functionalities into single and flat ***,the PB phase has intrinsically opposite signs for two spins,resulting in locked and mirrored functionalities for right CP and left CP *** we review the fundamentals and applications of spin-decoupled metasurfaces that release the spin-locked limitation of PB metasurfaces by combining the orientation-dependent PB phase and the dimension-dependent propagation *** provides a general and practical guideline toward realizing spin-decoupled functionalities with a single metasurface for orthogonal circular ***,we conclude this review with a short conclusion and personal outlook on the future directions of this rapidly growing research area,hoping to stimulate new research outputs that can be useful in future applications.

The coefficient diagram method （CDm） is one of the most effective control design methods. It creates control systems that are very stable and robust with responses without the overshoot and small settling time. Furthermore, all control parameters of the control systems are changed by varying some adjustment parameters in CDm depending on the demands. The model reference adaptive systems （mRAS） are the systems that follow and change the control parameters according to a given model reference system. There are several methods to combine the CDm with mRAS. One of these is to use the mRAS parameters as a gain of the CDm parameters. Another is to directly use the CDm parameters as the mRAS parameters. In the industrial applications, the system parameters can be changed frequently, but if the controller, by self-tuning, recalculates and develops its own parameters continuously, the system becomes more robust. Also, if the poles of the controlled systems approach the jw axis, the response of the closed-loop mRAS becomes more and more insufficient. In order to obtain better results, CDm is combined with a self-tuning model reference adaptive system. Systems controlled by a model reference adaptive controller give responses with small or without overshoot, have small settling times, and are more robust. Thus, in this paper, a hybrid combination of mRAS and CDm is developed and two different control structures of the control signal are investigated. The two methods are compared with mRAS and applied to real-time process control systems.

Infections by the fungus monilinia laxa,the main cause of brown rot in Europe,result in considerable losses of stone ***,we present a comprehensive transcriptomic approach to unravel strategies deployed by nectarine fruit and *** during their *** used ***-inoculated immature and mature fruit,which was resistant and susceptible to brown rot,respectively,to perform a dual RNA-Seq *** immature fruit,host responses,pathogen biomass,and pathogen transcriptional activity peaked at 14–24 h post inoculation(hpi),at which point *** appeared to switch its transcriptional response to either quiescence or *** fruit experienced an exponential increase in host and pathogen activity beginning at 6 *** analyses in both host and pathogen highlighted differences in stage-dependent *** example,in immature fruit,*** unsuccessfully employed carbohydrate-active enzymes(CAZymes)for penetration,which the fruit was able to combat with tightly regulated hormone responses and an oxidative burst that challenged the pathogen’s survival at later time *** contrast,in mature fruit,*** was more dependent on proteolytic effectors than CAZymes,and was able to invest in filamentous growth early during the *** analyses of mature fruit infected with *** indicated that,while jasmonic acid activity was likely useful for defense,high ethylene activity may have promoted susceptibility through the induction of ripening ***,we identified *** genes that were highly induced in both quiescent and active infections and may serve as targets for control of brown rot.
