Transport mechanism in chemically reactive hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic micro-organisms over a curved oscillatory surface

This paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. The influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. To depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the homotopy analysis method(HAm).The effects of significant flow parameters on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local motile number due to different involved parameters are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength parameter and the radius of curvature parameter increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the motile number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference parameter, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

The search for possible effective local therapeutic agents led to the discovery of a plant that was later known as Fungus *** parasitic flowering plant was initially believed to grow only on a small islet off Gozo known variably as General's or Fungus *** is now known to be more widely distributed with a range extending from the Canary Islands to *** mentioned in 1647 by the maltese historian Gian Francesco Abela,the plant was later described and illustrated in 1674 by the Palermo botanist Paolo Boccone,while a detailed clinical treatise was prepared in 1689 by the maltese physician Gio Francesco *** on the principles of the“doctrine of signatures,”the plant was considered useful by virtue of its color in conditions involving bleeding,while on the basis of the phallic appearance,it was considered efficacious for venereal *** medicinal properties of the plant became renowned throughout the European continent,increasing the demand for its collection and *** were introduced to limit the collection to authorized individuals while physical access to the islet was made more difficult by cutting away the sloping parts of the *** plant lost its medicinal reputation during the early decades of the 19^th century and has now been relegated to the annals of medical history and folklore,though it is still designated a protected species.

Adoption of Traditional Chinese medicine in a Central mediterranean Island Community

The maltese Islands in the central mediterranean was one of the earliest European countries to initiate political relationships with the People’s Republic of *** political interaction translated eventually to a better appreciation of the cultural diversity of the respective *** appreciation led to an early adoption of traditional Chinese medicine(TCm)services and their incorporation within the mainline western-based contemporary medicine generally practiced on the *** clinical services were formally introduced in the public government-managed hospital in 1994 after a bilateral agreement was signed between the health ministries of the two respective *** service has now extended into the private health *** adoption of TCm clinical services,in the light of a greater acceptance of TCm by the patients,necessitated specific legislation to regulate the practice of TCm within the legal framework of the maltese Healthcare Professions *** more recent years,since 2015,the University of malta in collaboration with Shanghai University of TCm,have provided a postgraduate master program in TCm aimed at graduates holding a primary degree in a western-oriented health-care science.

Regression analysis of squeezing-induced hybrid nanofluid flow in Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium

This article presents a mathematical model addressing a scenario involving a hybrid nanofluid flow between two infinite parallel plates. One plate remains stationary, while the other moves downward at a squeezing velocity. The space between these plates contains a Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium. A mixture of water-based fluid with gold(Au) and silicon dioxide(Si O2) nanoparticles is formulated. In contrast to the conventional Fourier's heat flux equation, this study employs the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux equation. A uniform magnetic field is applied perpendicular to the flow direction, invoking magnetohydrodynamic(mHD) effects. Further, the model accounts for Joule heating, which is the heat generated when an electric current passes through the fluid. The problem is solved via NDSolve in mATHEmATICA. Numerical and statistical analyses are conducted to provide insights into the behavior of the nanomaterials between the parallel plates with respect to the flow, energy transport, and skin *** findings of this study have potential applications in enhancing cooling systems and optimizing thermal management strategies. It is observed that the squeezing motion generates additional pressure gradients within the fluid, which enhances the flow rate but reduces the frictional drag. Consequently, the fluid is pushed more vigorously between the plates, increasing the flow velocity. As the fluid experiences higher flow rates due to the increased squeezing effect, it spends less time in the region between the plates. The thermal relaxation, however, abruptly changes the temperature, leading to a decrease in the temperature fluctuations.

A comparative study between ionic liquid coating and counterparts in bulk for toluene absorption

The structure-activity relationship(SAR)for toluene absorption and desorption in ionic liquids(ILs)has been investigated for seven commercial ILs in bulk and thin liquid *** with imidazolium cations of different alkyl chain lengths and a Hofmeister series of anions including[CH3COO],[I],[BF4],[HSO4],and[PF6]were *** capacity for toluene increases with increasing kosmotropicity of the cation and anion,while the absorption rate in bulk ILs is governed by viscosity and that in thin ILs layer by the oil-water partition coefficient(Kow).A regenerability coefficient(Rp)measures toluene desorption and IL *** release rate as measured by dRp/dt correlates well with the Kow and viscosity of the ILs and tx,the time required to completely desorb toluene is related to its ionic strength as measured from v(C2H)of the imidazolium *** properties are in turn governed by the kosmotropicity of the cation and anion pair forming the IL.

Nervous system emerges from complex signaling interactions where extrinsic (neurotransmitters and trophic factors, among others) and intrinsic factors (transcription factors) interplay in the developing tissue to control gene activity promoting chronic changes in cell genesis, migration, differentiation and death. The retinal microenvironment is regulated by a broad variety of chemicals, including endocannabinoids and nucleotides that modulate embryonic progenitor-neuron-müller glia signaling in very early developing or pathophysiological conditions.

Predicting maximum Lifespan Limits at mean menopausal Age

The age at which a woman enters natural menopause has also been associated to death from any cause. menopause is a natural component of aging that happens between the ages of 45 and 55, with the average menopausal age being 51. Previous research has revealed the age at which women reach menopause, but there is no evidence to support the link between menopause and longevity. We made a study in assessing the limits of maximum lifespan at menopausal age in our previous article. In this paper, we aim to predict the maximum lifespan of women at mean menopausal age.

Extension of analytical indicial aerodynamics to generic trapezoidal wings in subsonic flow

Analytical indicial aerodynamic functions are calculated for several trapezoidal wings in subsonic flow, with a mach number 0.3 ma 0.7. The formulation herein proposed extends wellknown aerodynamic theories, which are limited to thin aerofoils in incompressible flow, to generic trapezoidal wing planforms. Firstly, a thorough study is executed to assess the accuracy and limitation of analytical predictions, using unsteady results from two state-of-the-art computational fluid dynamics solvers as cross-validated benchmarks. Indicial functions are calculated for a step change in the angle of attack and for a sharp-edge gust, each for four wing configurations and three mach numbers. Then, analytical and computational indicial responses are used to predict dynamic derivatives and the maximum lift coefficient following an encounter with a one-minus-cosine gust. It is found that the analytical results are in excellent agreement with the computational results for all test cases. In particular, the deviation of the analytical results from the computational results is within the scatter or uncertainty in the data arising from using two computational fluid dynamics solvers. This indicates the usefulness of the developed analytical theories.
