Effect of Heat Input on the microstructure and Properties of Dissimilar Weld Joint Between Incoloy 28 and Superaustenitic Stainless Steel

Abstract this work focuses on studying the effect of welding heat input within the range from 1 to 5 kJ/mm on the microstructure and the corresponding mechanical and corrosion properties of dissimilar joint between superaustenitic stainless steel （UNS S31254） and Incoloy 28 （UNS N08028）. the two materials were butt-welded with ER NiCrmo3. the metallurgical changes associated with welding of SASS and Incoloy 28 were studied using optical microscope, SEm, and EDX. the mechanical and corrosion properties were investigated using tensile test, Vickers hardness test, and pitting and crevice corrosion tests. the weld metal microstructure showed precipitates with needle-like shape at 3 and 5 kJ/mm. Also, the microstructure showed unmixed zone （UmZ） at the fusion line of both SASS and Incoloy 28 sides at all the investigated heat inputs. the mo microsegregation within UmZ at Incoloy 28 side increased as the heat input increased from 1 to 5 k J/ram but that in SASS increased with increasing heat input from 1 to 3 kJ/mm and then decreased with increasing from 3 to 5 kJ/mm. the ultimate tensile strengths for all specimens at all the investigated heat inputs are acceptable. the average hardness noticeably changed in weld metal as the heat input increased from 1 to 5 kJ/mm. Other zones such as HAZ or UmZ did not demonstrate marked changes in the average hardness. the pitting and crevice corrosion rates of the weld joint were found significant at l and 3 kJ/mm but insignificant at 5 kJ/mm according to AStm G48.

Progress in understanding multisensory integration in human have suggested researchers that the integration may result into the enhancement or depression of incoming *** is evident based on different psychological and behavioral experiments that stimuli coming from different perceptual modalities at the same time or from the same place,the signal having more strength under the influence of emotions effects the response *** research inmultisensory integration has not studied the effect of emotions despite its significance and natural influence in multisensory enhancement or ***,there is a need to integrate the emotional state of the agent with incoming stimuli for signal enhancement or *** this study,two different neural network-based learning algorithms have been employed to learn the impact of emotions on signal enhancement or *** was observed that the performance of a proposed system for multisensory integration increases when emotion features were present during enhancement or depression of multisensory signals.

Allelopathic effects of different doses of Eucalyptus camaldulensis leaf litters were investigated through an experiment in the green house of Institute of Forestry and Environmental Sciences, Chittagong, Bangladesh. three popular agricultural crops： Falen （Vigna unguiculata）, Chickpea （Cicer arietinum）, Arhor （Cajanus cajan） and two widely used plantation trees： Sada koroi （Albizia procera） and Ipil ipil （Leucaena leucocephala） were selected as bioassay species. Experiment was set on tray at room temperature 27℃. the effects of different doses of leaf litter extracts were compared to the control. Results suggest that leaf litters of E, camaldulesis induced inhibitory effects, It was also found that the effect depend on concentration of extract and litterfall, type of receiver species. Higher concentration of the materials had the higher effect and vice versa. though all the bioassay species were suppressed some of them showed better performance. Vigna unguiculata, Cicer arietinum are recommended in agroforestry based on this present Experiment output. In mixed plantation, Leucaena leucochephala is a better choice while compared to Albizia procera.

this paper proposes a constitutive law and a method for characterizing highly preloaded viscoelastic materials subjected to linear （small-amplitude） vibrations. A multiplicative non-separable variables law has been suggested to model the behavior that depends on both stretch and time/frequency. this approach allows splitting the intricate combined test performed simultaneously on both stretch and frequency, generally in a limited experimental domain up to 100 Hz, into two independent tests. thus, on one hand, the dynamic complex modulus dependent on frequency alone is evaluated on the basis of vibration tests in a large experimental domain up to 100 kHz. On the other hand, energetic parameters are determined from a quasi-static hyperelastic tensile test. the complex modulus, dependent on both stretch and frequency, is then deduced from the results acquired from uncoupled investigations. this work shows that, in extension, the elastic modulus increases with increasing stretch, and the loss factor decreases with increasing stretch; while, in compression, around the material undeformed state, the modulus increases as the stretch increases till a certain value of compression stretch （upturn point depending on material characteristics）, and then the modulus decreases as the stretch increases. Globally, preload rigidifies materials but reduces their damping property. these results closely match a well-known observation in solid mechanics.

the residual stress in the D019-α2 phase is known to be significantly higher than that in the L10-γphase in tiAl alloys after deformation due to the poor plasticity and strong mechanical anisotropy of theα2 ***,the internal stress accumulation and relaxation in theα2 phase during high-temperature deformation and annealing are scarcely *** this study,for the first time,the internal strain evolution and load partitioning between theα2 andγphases at high temperatures are characterized by in-situ synchrotron high energy X-ray diffraction(HEXRD)*** plastic deformation is at least initiated at a stress of roughly 200 mPa in theγphase and 775 mPa in theα2 *** intergranular strains in theα2 phase are generated by the onset of dislocation glide in theγphase,and accentuated with the accumulated dislocations and the ensuing twinning *** unloading,great intergranular strains are preserved in theα2 phase constrained by the heavily plastically deformedγ*** subsequent heating from 400 to 1000℃,the internal strains in theα2 phase are almost fully relaxed by substantial dislocation annihilation and rearrangement in theγ*** annealing at 800℃,the internal strain relaxation is rapid in the initial 10 min,whereas considerably retarded *** extent of relaxation after holding at 800℃for 1 h is equivalent to that of heating in an effective temperature range of 680-880℃for 10 *** in-situ lattice strain measurements with various thermal relaxation schemes provide guidance for the stress relief annealing of tiAl components.

利用Legendre正交多项式作为形函数基底函数,开发了两种新型的通用p型板单元。单元矩阵的解析积分保证了p型有限单元解的精确性及单调收敛性。计算实例表明所开发的p型有限单元计算结果随基底函数中附加项数量的增加而快速收敛,且它们的计算精度远高于一般线性单元。另外,p型板单元不使用缩减积分也能分析薄板的振动问题。利用它们收敛率高的特点,分析了结构破坏的时频特性。p型有限单元仿真结果与实测结果良好的吻合证明了它们用于结构振动响应分析的有效性。

In a global environment where energy and labor are becoming increasingly expensive, continuous mining systems such as In-Pit Crushing and Conveying(IPCC) systems have been advanced as offering a real alternative to conventional truck haulage systems. the implementation of IPCC systems in hard rock operations in open pit mines however requires different and more comprehensive planning approaches in order to adequately reflect the practical aspects associated with these. this paper investigates the impact that these approaches may have on the implementation of IPCC systems on a basic metalliferous deposit amenable to open pit exploitation. A strategic life of mine plan to provide numerous economic indicators for each approach is analyzed and compared to traditional truck haulage systems. the mine planning and evaluation process highlights the increased overall resource recovery that may accompany the use of IPCC systems. this investigation also provides insights into the issues associated with IPCC and the scale and type of operation and orebody that is likely to provide a feasible alternative to truck haulage.
