Electrical energy is essential for modern society to sustain economic *** soaring demand for the electrical energy,together with an awareness of the environmental impact of fossil fuels,has been driving a shift towards the utilization of solar ***,traditional solar energy solutions often require extensive spaces for a panel installation,limiting their practicality in a dense urban *** overcome the spatial constraint,researchers have developed transparent photovoltaics(TPV),enabling windows and facades in vehicles and buildings to generate electric *** TPV advancements are focused on improving both transparency and power output to rival commercially available silicon solar *** this review,we first briefly introduce wavelength-and non-wavelengthselective strategies to achieve *** of merit and theoretical limits of TPVs are discussed to comprehensively understand the status of current TPV *** we highlight recent progress in different types of TPVs,with a particular focus on solution-processed thin-film photovoltaics(PVs),including colloidal quantum dot PVs,metal halide perovskite PVs and organic *** applications of TPVs are also reviewed,with emphasis on agrivoltaics,smart windows and ***,current challenges and future opportunities in TPV research are pointed out.

Application of an LC–ms/ms method for the analysis of amlodipine,valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide in polypill for a bioequivalence study

A sensitive and selective method has been proposed for the simultaneous determination of amlodipine(AmL),valsartan(VAL) and hydrochlorothiazide(HCTZ) in human plasma by liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry(LC–ms/ms). The analytes and their deuterated analogs were quantitatively extracted from100 μL human plasma by solid phase extraction on Oasis HLB cartridges. The chromatographic separation of the analytes was achieved on a Chromolith RP18 e(100 mm × 4.6 mm) analytical column within 2.5 min. The resolution factor between AmL and VAL, AmL and HCTZ, and VAL and HCTZ was 2.9, 1.5 and 1.4, respectively,under isocratic conditions. The method was validated over a dynamic concentration range of 0.02–20.0 ng/m L for AmL, 5.00–10,000 ng/m L for VAL and 0.20–200 ng/m L for HCTZ. Ion-suppression/enhancement effects were investigated by post-column infusion technique. The mean Is-normalized matrix factors for AmL, VAL and HCTZ were 0.992, 0.994 and 0.998, respectively. The intra-batch and inter-batch precision(% CV) across quality control levels was ≤ 5.56% and the recovery was in the range of 93.4%–99.6% for all the analytes. The method was successfully applied to a bioequivalence study of 5 mg AmL + 160 mg VAL + 12.5 mg HCTZ tablet formulation(test and reference) in 18 healthy Indian males under fasting. The mean log-transformed ratios of C max, AUC0–120 h and AUC0-inf and their 90% CIs were within 90.2%–102.1%. The assay reproducibility was demonstrated by reanalysis of 90 incurred samples.

This investigative study is focused on the impact of wavelet on traditional forecasting time-series models,which significantly shows the usage of wavelet *** Decomposition(WD)algorithm has been combined with various traditional forecasting time-series models,such as Least square support Vector machine(LssVm),Artificial Neural Network(ANN)and multivariate Adaptive Regression splines(mARs)and their effects are examined in terms of the statistical *** WD has been used as a mathematical application in traditional forecast modelling to collect periodically measured parameters,which has yielded tremendous constructive ***,it is observed that the wavelet combined models are classy compared to the various time series models in terms of performance ***,combining wavelet forecasting models has yielded much better results.

Unsupervised neural network model optimized with evolutionary computations for solving variants of nonlinear mHD Jeffery-Hamel problem

A heuristic technique is developed for a nonlinear magnetohydrodynamics （mHD） Jeffery-Hamel problem with the help of the feed-forward artificial neural net- work （ANN） optimized with the genetic algorithm （GA） and the sequential quadratic programming （sQP） method. The twodimensional （2D） mHD Jeffery-Hamel problem is transformed into a higher order boundary value problem （BVP） of ordinary differential equations （ODEs）. The mathematical model of the transformed BVP is formulated with the ANN in an unsupervised manner. The training of the weights of the ANN is carried out with the evolutionary calculation based on the GA hybridized with the sQP method for the rapid local convergence. The proposed scheme is evaluated on the variants of the Jeffery-Hamel flow by varying the Reynold number, the Hartmann number, and the an- gles of the walls. A large number of simulations are performed with an extensive analysis to validate the accuracy, convergence, and effectiveness of the scheme. The comparison of the standard numerical solution and the analytic solution establishes the correctness of the proposed designed methodologies.

Effect on Landau damping rates for a non-maxwellian distribution function consisting of two electron populations

In many physical situations where a laser or electron beam passes through a dense plasma,hot low-density electron populations can be generated,resulting in a particle distribution function consisting of a dense cold population and a small hot *** of such low-density electron distributions can alter the wave damping rate.A kinetic model is employed to study the Landau damping of Langmuir waves when a small hot electron population is present in the dense cold electron population with non-maxwellian distribution *** of plasma from maxwellian distributions significantly alters the damping rates as compared to the maxwellian *** damping is found for highly nonmaxwellian distributions as well as plasmas with a higher density and hot electron *** of weak damping is also established when the distribution contains broadened flat tops at the low energies or tends to be *** results may be applied in both experimental and space physics regimes.

Dust-Lower-Hybrid surface Waves in Classical and Degenerate Plasmas

The dispersion relation for general dust low frequency electrostatic surface waves propagating on an interface between a magnetized dusty plasma region and a vacuum is derived by using specular reflection boundary conditions both in classical and quantum regimes. The frequency limit ω ≤ωei ≤ ωce is considered and the dispersion relation for the Dust-Lower-Hybrid surface Waves （DLHsW＇s） is derived for both classical and quantum plasma half-space and analyzed numerically. It is shown that the wave behavior changes as the quantum nature of the problem is considered.

In vitro and in vivo bactericidal activity of Vitex negundo leaf extract against diverse multidrug resistant enteric bacterial pathogens

Objective:To investigate in vitro and in vivo antibacterial potentials of Vitex negundo(V. negundo) leaf extracts against diverse enteric ***:Water and methanol extracts of *** leaves were evaluated against enteric bacterial pathogens by using standard disc diffusion,viable bacterial cell count methods,determination of minimum inhibitory concentrations(mIC) and minimum bactericidal concentrations(mBC).Results:methanol extract of *** leaves showed potent antibacterial activity(inhibition zone:9.9- 22.6 mm,mIC: 200-3 200μg/mL,mBC:200-6 400μg/mL) against all the pathogenic enleric bacteria(Vibrio cholerae,Vibrio parahaemolyticus,Vibrio mimicus,Echerichia *** spps.,and Aeromonas spps) *** extract of *** leaves showed potent bactericidal activity both in vitro laboratory conditions(mBC,200-400μg/mL) and in the intestinal environment(Dose,1-2 mg/mL) of infant mice against pathogenic Vibrio cholerae,the major causative agent of cholera. Furthermore,assays using the mice cholera model showed that *** methanol extract can protect mice from Vibrio cholerae infection and significantly decrease the mortality rate(Psioas:For the first time we showed that methanol extract of *** leaves exhibited strong vibriocidal activity both in vitro and in vivo ***,it will be useful to identify and isolate the active compounds of this extract that could be a good alternative of antibiotics to treat cholera.

C-phycocyanin shows neuroprotective effect against rotenone-induced Parkinson’s disease in mice

Objective:To investigate the neuroprotective effect of C-phycocyanin in a mouse model of rotenone-induced Parkinson’s ***:C-phycocyanin(50 mg/kg,i.p.,daily)was administered to rotenone(30 mg/kg,p.o.,daily)treated mice for 28 *** studies(Y-maze,rotarod,round beam walk,and wire-hang tests)were carried out to assess neurobehavioral *** and malondialdehyde were determined in both serum and striatal *** proteins(AKT,AmPK,NF-κB,BDNF,and alpha-synuclein)in the striatum were estimated using *** analyses(hematoxylin and eosin stainning as well as Nissl staining)were carried out to assess structural abnormalities in the ***:C-phycocyanin significantly increased BDNF levels and decreased alpha-synuclein *** also slightly upregulated AmPK and AKT levels without significant difference compared with the rotenone ***,rotenone-induced elevated oxidative stress and structural abnormalities in the striatum were markedly mitigated by ***:C-phycocyanin might have potential neuroprotective effects against Parkinson’s *** studies are warranted to verify its efficacy and to understand the molecular mechanisms behind the neuroprotective effects of C-phycocyanin in Parkinson’s disease.

Dynamic Recrystallization and Texture Evolution of GW94 mg Alloy During multi-and Unidirectional Impact Forging

multi- and unidirectional impact forgings were successfully applied to a （GW94） mg-RE alloy. The microstructure and texture evolution were investigated systematically. The obtained results indicated that during unidirectional impact forging, a bimodal chain deform microstructure was sustained till last forging pass, whereas { 10-12} extension twins-assisted continuous dynamic recrystallization took place during the multidirectional impact forging （mDIF）. The coalescence and intersection of {10-12} extension twins during mDIF efficiently refined the original coarse grains and led to an almost recrystallized homogeneous microstructure. The texture analysis demonstrated that unidirectional impact forging yielded out the strong basal texture; however, mDIF resulted in non-basal texture, which was attributed to the cooperative effects of continuous DRX, twinning, and mDIF itself during the deformation process.
