The objective to this work was to evaluate the enzymatic activity in the culture of Solanum lycopersicum *** with Fusarium oxysporum after the combined application of Beauveria bassiana and plant *** lycopersicum plantlets were transplanted 15 days after the *** days after transplanting,Beauveria bassiana spores were applied at a concentration of 1×10^(7)spores mL^(−1)onto soil(along with ***(n)and ***(h)leaf extracts)where *** plants were *** days after transplanting,spores of *** strain were applied at a concentration of 1×10^(6)spores mL^(−1)to soil where *** plants were *** development of *** plants was monitored for 114 days,whereby a randomized complete block treatment design was used,the roots of the plants were crushed with liquid nitrogen,after which UV/VIS spectrophotometry was used to determine protein concentration,as well as the activity ofβ-1,3-glucanases,peroxidases(POX,EC1.***.1.7),catalase and *** treatments combining *** and *** and *** extracts,had a significant difference in enzymatic activity levels,thus contributing to better defense mechanisms and a greater protection to *** plants in the presence of *** application of *** and plant extracts to the ground mitigated damage caused by *** on *** plants.

Arthropod communities and epiphytic plants associated with tree canopies have been widely studied and have revealed a great diversity of organisms; however,the community hosted by parasitic plants,such as dwarf mistletoes,remains poorly *** the coniferous forests of north America,dwarf mistletoe infection（Arceuthobium spp.） significantly damages the health of the forest,causing large financial losses for the forest industry,but it also positively affects diversity,especially of mammals and *** study examined the attributes of the arthropod communities associated with two species of dwarf mistletoe [Arceuthobium globosum hawksw.＆ Wiens and ***（humb.＆ *** Willd.） ***] and their host Pinus hartwegii *** 2010,in five sites located in Zoquiapan（Central mexico）,we collected plant tissue from the three species *** were separated from the plant tissue and identified to the finest level *** collected 32,059 individuals,for which51 morphospecies were identified,belonging to 15 taxonomic orders; the most abundant orders for the three plants were Prostigmata,Thysanoptera and *** community associated with *** had the highest value of diversity（h＇= 1.47; ***,h＇= 0.64; ***,h＇= 0.68） and species richness（S = 40; ***,S = 30; ***,S = 35）; while abundance was significantly higher for the mistletoes（***,n = 407 individuals/sample; ***,n = 536 individuals/sample; ***,n = 134 individuals/sample）.Species richness,abundance and diversity were significantly different for the three studied plants,as well for sampling month and the interaction of these two factors（except for diversity）.The results suggest that the canopy of *** is an important element in the ecosystem,providing a mosaic of resources and conditions to the associated *** also propose that mistletoes are key species within the forest canopy,as they greatly influence the establishment of d

Agave americana *** were exposed to different concentrations of ethyl methanesulphonate(EmS)0,15,30,45 and 60 mm and to different times of exposure(2 and 4 h).The viability and capacity of shoot formation were shown to be affected when the callus were exposed to high concentrations(30–60 mm).Only the callus exposed to 15 mm EmS presented shoot formation;the exposure time of two hours produced the largest quantity of shoots regenerated per callus(21 shoots/callus).In order to generate somaclonal variants resistant to Fusarium oxysporum,a selection pressure was applied through of a culture filtrate(CF)of 100 ppm of the *** was made in callus obtained in the treatment with 15 mm EmS during 2 h of *** CF caused oxidation and necrosis in 71.25%of the callus;however,they were capable of generating shoots(3.5 shoots/callus).molecular markers type rAPD,ISSr and DAmD were used to evaluate the genetic variation arising from the mutations caused by EmS on control plants and 16-month-old somaclonal *** polymorphic information content(PIC)for each one of the initiating groups was:0.28(DAmD),0.09(ISSr)and 0.14(rAPD).DAmD revealed a greater percentage of polymorphism than rAPD and *** bands were detected in the somaclonal *** indicated that the EmS caused genetic variation in the regenerated plants conferring resistance to them against Fusarium oxysporum.

The metabolic syndrome(mS), which includes obesity,dyslipidaemia, hypertension and hyperglycaemia according to the most widely accepted definitions now used, is one of the most common post-transplant complications, with a prevalence of 44%-58%. The mS, together with the immunosuppression, is considered the main risk factor for the development of cardiovascular disease(CVD) in transplant recipients, which in turn accounts for 19%-42% of all deaths unrelated to the graft. The presence of mS represents a relative risk for the development of CVD and death of 1.78. On the other hand, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(nAFLD), considered as the manifestation of the mS in the liver, is now the second leading reason for liver transplantation in the United States after hepatitis C and alcohol. nAFLD has a high rate of recurrence in the liver graft and a direct relation with the worsening of other metabolic disorders, such as insulin resistance or diabetes mellitus. Consequently, it is vitally important to identify and treat as soon as possible such modifiable factors as hypertension, overweight, hyperlipidaemia or diabetes in transplanted patients to thus minimise the impact on patient survival. Additionally, steroid-free regimens are favoured, with minimal immunosuppression to limit the possible effects on the development of the mS.

The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of Beauveria bassiana(Bb 1205)on controlling Fusarium oxysporum ***(Fol 17108)in tomato plants in greenhouse *** of Bb 1205 was the most promising among the agronomic variables and expression of the activity of the enzymesβ-1,3-glucanases and *** of Bb 1205 occurred at a concentration of 1×108 conidia·mL−1,which was administered onto the leaves,directly into the soil and via *** with Fol 17108 occurred with 1×106 spores·mL−1,which were added directly to the *** was used for measuring agronomic parameters,namely activity of chitinases andβ-1,3-glucanases in foliage and *** Bb 1205 was added to the soil,the chlorophyll index and aerial part length showed significant *** addition,it was determined that root length,fresh weight of foliage,flower,and fruit count increased 82 days after inoculation(dai).Chitinase activity induced by Bb 1205 in leaves and roots of tomato plants infected with Fol 17108 was observed when injected into the stem at 32 dai(41.8 and 11.6-fold,respectively).Inoculation on the foliage showed a 10-fold increase ofβ-1,3-glucanases in the roots after 82 *** for leaves,a 3.8-fold increase was found when the stem was *** the different in vivo applications,Bb 1205 activated its defenses by expressing the chitinase enzymes andβ-1,3-glucanase,thus reducing the damage caused by Fol 17108,demonstrating increase plant growth thereafter.

It poses the inverse problem that consists in finding the logarithm of a function. It shows that when the function is holomorphic in a simply connected domain , the solution at the inverse problem exists and is unique if a branch of the logarithm is fixed. In addition, it’s demonstrated that when the function is continuous in a domain , where is hausdorff space and connected by paths. The solution of the problem exists and is unique if a branch of the logarithm is fixed and is stable;for what in this case, the inverse problem turns out to be well-posed.

The aim of this work was to carry out monitoring of some elements considered toxic in sediments from Lerma river. An analytical method was optimized in our laboratory for quantification of nickel (ni), cobalt (Co), manganese (mn), arsenic (As), chromium (Cr) and lead (Pb) by using Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES). Ten sediments were collected along the Lerma river at variable distances and at 20 cm depth. Samples were heated to 60°C to dryness, followed by separation of particle size using a 74-μ no. 200 mesh for homogeneity purposes. 0.2 g of sample underwent microwave-assisted acid digestion, followed by plate evaporation. The samples were dissolved in 10 mL with hnO3 at 5% v/v for ICP-OES analysis. A certified reference material (Crm 8704) was used to evaluate the method’s accuracy and precision. The method showed linearity, precision, accuracy, and limits of quantification and detection acceptable for protocol validation of analytical method. The average results obtained in recovery of Crm 8704 were ~90% and precision was below 7% for all elements. Levels concentration of As, Cr, Pb show high pollution in A1, A7 and A8 sites. Therefore, Co, mn and ni can be considered in this study as normal values. In conclusion, concentration levels of As, Cr, Pb in sediments were high according to US-EPA and nOm-147-SEmArnAT/SSA1-2004. The presence of these heavy metals in Lerma river could be due mainly for the emitted from industries, such as pharmaceutical, automotive, metal mechanics and tannery, and urban residual water. Finally, the method developed using ICP-OES has enabled monitoring of these elements in sediments from Lerma river, with possible applications in a routine analytical laboratory.

most demographic studies focus on numerical changes that occur within populations across ***,typically studies at an interannual scale do not provide information on the particular times of the year(particular months or seasons)when rates of survival,recruitment,or migration increase or decrease due to physiological,behavioral or ecological *** monthly or seasonal changes in demographic parameters may lead to substantial variations in population *** this study,we collected capture-mark-recapture data on 3 species of lizards of the genus Sceloporus(Sceloporus torquatus,Sceloporus grammicus and Sceloporus megalepidurus)found in ecologically similar habitats to examine potential changes in demographic rates among 3 different climatic seasons:rainy,cold-dry and warm-dry *** tested different hypotheses about the effect of these seasons on survival,recruitment of new adults,and temporary *** found that during the season with severe thermal constraints,the cold-dry season,survival of *** decreased *** also detected a considerable increase in the recruitment rate of *** during the rainy season,when these lizards are establishing territories and finding *** contrast,we found no evidence of intra-annual changes in the rate of temporary *** addition,we calculated abundance and population growth rates for each species and for each *** study represents a significant contribution to the understanding of intra-annual demographic variation in lizards.
