The poor corrosion and wear resistances of mg alloys seriously limit their potential applications in various *** conventional epoxy coating easily forms many intrinsic defects during the solidification process,which cannot provide sufficient *** the current study,we design a double-layer epoxy composite coating on mg alloy with enhanced anti-corrosion/wear properties,via the spin-assisted assembly *** outer layer is functionalized graphene(FG)in waterborne epoxy resin(WEP)and the inner layer is Ce-based conversion(Ce)*** FG sheets can be homogeneously dispersed within the epoxy matrix to fill the intrinsic defects and improve the barrier *** Ce film connects the outer layer with the substrate,showing the transition *** corrosion rate of Ce/WEP/FG composite coating is 2131 times lower than that of bare mg alloy,and the wear rate is decreased by~90%.The improved corrosion resistance is attributed to the labyrinth effect(hindering the penetration of corrosive medium)and the obstruction of galvanic coupling *** synergistic effect derived from the FG sheet and blocking layer exhibits great potential in realizing the improvement of multi-functional integration,which will open up a new avenue for the development of novel composite protection coatings of mg alloys.

With the escalation of industrialization and population growth,energy and clean water shortages pose an unprecedented threat to sustainable ***,it is imperative to develop green and effective strategies to address these *** this context,solar-driven interfacial water evaporation(SIWE)has emerged as a highly promising low-carbon solution to the water-energy nexus[1].By locating the evaporator at airwater interfaces,heat localization can be achieved,leading to high-efficient water evaporation and freshwater *** significantly,taking advantage of the special conditions during SIWE has opened numerous opportunities for generation of extra electrical power[2,3].Throughout the processes of SIWE,various elements such as photons,waves,capillary flow,evaporation,vapor motions,condensation,and droplet sliding can all be harnessed to produce electricity through photovoltaic,thermoelectric,thermogalvanic,pyroelectric,piezoelectric,triboelectricity and hydrovoltaic effects[3].Extensive research efforts have provided valuable insights for the development of water-electricity cogeneration(WEG)hybrid systems.

The prediction and control of furnace heat indicators are of great importance for improving the heat levels and conditions of the complex and difficult-to-operate hour-class delay blast furnace(BF)*** this work,a prediction and feedback model of furnace heat indicators based on the fusion of data-driven and BF ironmaking processes was *** data on raw and fuel materials,process op-eration,smelting state,and slag and iron discharge during the whole BF process comprised 171 variables with 9223 groups of data and were comprehensively analyzed.A novel method for the delay analysis of furnace heat indicators was *** extracted delay variables were found to play an important role in *** method that combined the genetic algorithm and stacking efficiently im-proved performance compared with the traditional machine learning algorithm in improving the hit ratio of the furnace heat prediction *** hit ratio for predicting the temperature of hot metal in the error range of±10℃ was 92.4%,and that for the chemical heat of hot metal in the error range of±0.1wt%was 93.3%.On the basis of the furnace heat prediction model and expert experience,a feedback model of furnace heat operation was established to obtain quantitative operation suggestions for stabilizing BF heat *** sugges-tions were highly accepted by BF ***,the comprehensive and dynamic model proposed in this work was successfully ap-plied in a practical BF *** improved the BF temperature level remarkably,increasing the furnace temperature stability rate from 54.9%to 84.9%.This improvement achieved considerable economic benefits.

Aberrant sperm protamination is linked to sperm dysmorphology and nuclear chromatin ***,its effects on sperm cytoplasmic maturation remain largely *** relationships of protamines,sperm morphology,DNA damage,and cytoplasmic remodeling were illustrated in this study to provide fresh perspectives on the mechanisms of male infertility.A total of 205 infertile males were allocated into 5 groups according to the percentage of spermatozoa exhibiting abnormal morphology within their *** concentration,motility,abnormal sperm morphology,cytoplasmic droplets(CDs),and excess residual cytoplasm(ERC)were analyzed according to the World Health Organization manual(2010).Sperm nuclear vacuoles(NVs)were determined by propidium iodide(PI)*** protamine expressions(P1 and P2)were detected by western *** damage was measured by acridine orange test(AOT)to calculate the proportion of sperm with single-strand DNA breaks(SSBs).Our data showed that sperm concentration and motility in infertile males significantly decreased with the severity of abnormal sperm morphology(both Plevel,P1/P2 ratio,and SSB rate increased with the severity of sperm dysmorphology,whilst the P2 level decreased(all Pmore common in males with sperm dysmorphology and positively correlated with the SSB rate(all Plationships between the SSB rate and the P1/P2 ratio were also significant(Pmination may cause sperm dysmorphology and compromise male fertility by impairing sperm's nucleus and cytoplasm maturation,with the P1/P2 ratio potentially serving as a valuable indicator of sperm quality and male fertility.

It is still challenging to fully integrate computing in memory chip as edge learning *** recent work published on Science,a fully-integrated chip based on neuromorphic memristors was developed for edge learning as artificial neural networks with functionality of synapses,dendrites,and somas.A crossbar-array memristor chip facilitated edge learning including hardware realization,learning algorithm,and cycle-parallel sign-and threshold-based learning(STEllAR)*** motion control and demonstration platforms were executed to improve the edge learning ability for adapting to new scenarios.
