In this work,we report observations of three comets:38P/Stephan-Oterma,64P/Swift-Gehrels,and C/2017 m4(ATLAS),conducted with the Nanshan one-meter wide-field telescope in 2018 August and November,and *** extracted morphological features through image enhancement techniques and calculated the dust activity parameter,Afρ,along with dust mass loss rates and coma color indices using broadband photometric *** morphological analysis uncovered a spectrum of dust characteristics among the observed comets,ranging from a significant twisted structure in comet 38P/Stephan-Oterma’s coma to the regular coma envelope surrounding comet 64P/*** Afρvalues varied between 148.8±0.3 cm for 64P/Swift-Gehrels and1118.5±6.2 cm for C/2017 m4(ATLAS)(measured within a reference aperture radius ofρ=6″),indicating a range from moderate to high activity *** mass loss rates were estimated from 328.1 kg s^(-1)for comet 64P/Swift-Gehrels to 1395.5 kg s^(-1)for comet C/2017 m4(ATLAS).The color indices of comets 38P/Stephan-Oterma and C/2017 m4(ATLAS)closely resemble the average colors of active short-period comets and active longperiod comets,*** contrast,64P/Swift-Gehrels exhibits a significantly bluer hue than typical Jupiter family comets.

The 1931 m_(w)7.8 Fuyun earthquake occurred around the Altai mountains, an intracontinental deformation belt with limited active strain-rate accumulation. To explore whether seismic activity in this deformation belt was affected by stress interaction among different active faults, we calculate the Coulomb failure stress change(ΔCFS) induced by the Fuyun earthquake due to coseismic deformation of the elastic crust and postseismic viscoelastic relaxation of the lower crust and upper mantle. Numerical results show that the total ΔCFS at a 10-km depth produced by the Fuyun earthquake attains approximately 0.015-0.134 bar near the epicenter, and just before the occurrence of the 2003 m_(w)7.2 Chuya earthquake, which distances about 400 km away from the Fuyun earthquake. Among the increased ΔCFS,viscoelastic relaxation from 1931 to 2003 contributes to approximately 0.014-0.131 bar, accounting for>90% of the total ΔCFS. more importantly, we find that for the recorded seismicity in the region with a radius of about 270 km to the Fuyun earthquake from 1970 to 2018, the percentage of earthquakes that fall in positive lobes of ΔCFS resolved on the NNW-SSE Fuyun strike-slip fault, on the NWW-SEE Irtysh strike-slip fault, and on the NW-SE Kurti reverse fault is up to 67.22%-91.36%. Therefore, the predictedΔCFS suggests that the impact of the 1931 m_(w)7.8 Fuyun earthquake on seismic activity around the Altai mountains is still significant as to hasten occurrence of the 2003 m_(w)7.2 Chuya earthquake at a relatively far distance and to trigger its aftershocks in the near-field even after several decades of the mainshock.

Pressure sensors are considerably important for continuous monitoring of human movement and the surrounding environment to construct a caregiving system for the elderly living *** challenge for pressure sensors that still remains is combining self-driven,comfort,and ***,an all-in-one conformal pressure sensor(ACPS) based on a homogeneous integrated triboelectric-piezoelectric hybrid sensor is *** ACPS has dual-mode sensing properties due to coupling triboelectrification and piezoelectric effect ensuring a stable response to various external ***-coated glass microspheres and polyacrylonitrile were uniformly filleted into the silicone rubber substrate using a hetero-doping method to create a stretchable electrode layer with flexible conformal characteristics and a piezoelectric layer with excellent piezoelectric properties,***,the triboelectric layer was fabricated using the same silicone rubber,allowing ACPS to be homogeneously bonded into an all-in-one structure with reliable *** allowed various functional layers to have outstanding interface characteristics and thus improve the electrical transmission *** developed ACPS had outstanding sensitivity(1.04 V/104Pa),high linearity(about 0.984),a wide measurement range(10–700 k Pa),and can accurately and continuously distinguish multiple ***,using a homemade signal processing circuit,ACPSs can be deployed in the human body and the room as indoor body area network *** successfully applied to the remote tracking of daily dynamic home life and the remote operation of small electrical equipment,these ACPSs can achieve real-time caregiving for the elderly living *** an application area desperately needed by society,this study envisions a caregiving system for the elderly living alone without violating personal privacy.

This study employs a linear inversion algorithm to retrieve volume emission rates(VERs)of molecular O_(2) nightglow at 1.27μm,utilizing Limb-Viewed spectra obtained from the SCanning Imaging Absorption spectrometer for Atmospheric for CHartographY(SCIAmACHY)payload on board the Envisat *** retrieved results are compared with VERs data from the SABER payload on the Thermosphere Ionosphere mesosphere Energetics and Dynamics(TImED)satellite,exhibiting *** will help to facilitate accurate revelation of spatial distribution and periodic variation in O_(2) *** are extracted monthly within the altitude range of 75-110 km from 2002 to 2012,yielding a climatology of spatial and temporal *** meridional structure exhibits two maxima,at the equator and at 45°*** August and October,the VERs exhibit a meridional bimodal structure,with the weaker one above the equator and the stronger one above 45°*** April,the VERs reach their annual ***,harmonic analysis reveals significant temporal variations on different *** emission shows characteristics of annual and semi-annual variation,and a non-linear long-term trend associated with solar cycle activity.

The effect of hydrogen and helium interaction,especially H-he ratio,on the irradiation behavior of nuclear materials has not yet been ***,this is an important basis for evaluating the irradiation properties of nuclear materials and developing high irradiation resistant ***,30 keV H_(2)^(+)and he^(+)dual beams with four H-he ratios of 0:10,3:10,15:10,and 30:10 were used to irradiate the newly developed Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/m steel in TEm to in-situ study the interaction and ratio effect of hydrogen and *** addition of H atoms significantly promoted the nucleation of dislocation loops and *** the early stage of irradiation,the average size and density of dislocation loops increased with the increase of H-he ***,the larger the H-he ratio,the easier it was to form a complex dislocation ***,the final saturation size of bubbles increased with the increase of H-he *** was first found that the swelling was affected by H concentrations,with high H concentrations slowing down the increase in *** a certain irradiation dose,a specific H-he ratio would lead to a swelling peak of Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/m *** super-sized bubbles at grain boundaries(GBs)were found after H addition,resulting in a bigger swelling of GBs than the *** the swelling of the GBs and the matrix show a dependence on the H-he *** current work is of great significance for understanding the interaction between hydrogen and helium in nuclear materials.

Prostate cancer(PCa)is a common malignant tumor with high morbidity and mortality *** prostate cancer stem cell(PCSC)model provides novel insights into the pathogenesis of PCa and its therapeutic ***,the roles and molecular mechanisms of specific genes in mediating fate decisions of PCSCs and carcinogenesis of PCa remain to be *** this study,we have explored the expression,function,and mechanism of AZGP1P2,a pseudogene of AZGP1,in regulating the stemness and apoptosis of PCSCs and treatment resistance of docetaxel in castration-resistant prostate cancer(CRPC).We revealed that AZGP1P2 was downregulated in CRPC cell lines and PCSCs,while it was positively associated with progression-free *** of the AZGP1P2 enhanced the sensitivity of docetaxel treatment in CRPCs via inhibiting their *** pull-down associated with mass spectrometry analysis,co-immunoprecipitation assay,and RNA immunoprecipitation assay demonstrated that AZGP1P2 could bind to UBA1 and RBm15 as a“writer”of methyltransferase to form a ***1,an E1 ubiquitin-activating enzyme,contributed to RBm15 protein degradation via ubiquitination *** RNA immunoprecipitation assay displayed that RBm15 controlled the mRNA decay of TPm1 in m6A ***,a xenograft mouse model and patient-derived organoids showed that the therapeutic effect of docetaxel in CRPC was increased by AZGP1P2 in ***,these results imply that AZGP1P2 mediates the stemness and apoptosis of PCSCs and promotes docetaxel therapeutic effect by suppressing tumor growth and metastasis via UBA1/RBm15-mediated TPm1 mRNA decay in CRPC.

Hierarchically porous carbons(HPCs)with multimodal pores have attracted considerable attention due to their unique physical and chemical properties and various application potentials in heterogeneous catalysis,environmental treatment,and energy storage and ***,we report a general and simple zinc salts-assisted method for the synthesis of HPCs with varied porosity and chemical func-tionalities by the direct carbonization of diverse biomass and *** the carbonization,zinc salts are thermally decomposed into nanoparticles that serve as in-situ templates to introduce nanopores in *** prepared HPCs exhibit high specific surface areas(up to 2432 m2 g-1),large pore volumes(up to 4.30 cm^(3)g^(-1)),and broad pore size ***,the zinc salts can be recovered and recycled,supporting the sustainable production of HPCs on large *** prepared HPCs-supported catalysts with atomically dispersed metal sites exhibit promising electrocatalytic performance for the oxygen reduction reaction.

The leader propagation is one of the most important stages in long air gap *** mechanism behind leader re-illumination remains *** high humidity conditions(20.0–30.1 g/m^(3)),we have conducted experiments of long sparks in a 10 m ultra-high voltage(UHV)transmission line gap under switching impulse *** positive leaders predominantly propagate discontinuously,with almost no significantly continuous propagation *** leader channels are intensely luminous and each elongation segment is straight,with streamers resembling the“branch type”which differs from the“diffuse type”streamers at the front of continuous propagation *** distribution of the propagation velocities is highly random(3.7–18.4 cm/μs),and the average velocity(9.2 cm/μs)significantly exceeds that of continuous propagation(1.5–2.0 cm/μs).Analysis suggests that the current-velocity models suitable for continuous leader propagation do not align well with the experimental data in re-illumination *** on the discharge current waveforms and optical images,it is speculated that the newly elongated leader in re-illumination mode does not evolve gradually from the stem(about 1 cm)but rather evolves overall from a thermal channel much longer than stem.

As an economically critical pelagic migratory species,yellowfin tuna(Thunnus albacores,YFT)is very sensible to physical and environmental conditions,such as sea surface temperature(SST),ocean heat content(OHC),and the mixed layer depth(mLD).We investigated the impact of SST,OHC,and mLD on fluctuations of YFT catch in the western/eastern Indian Ocean using the long time series of 63-year environmental and YFT *** found that the impact of SST on YFT was heavily overestimated in the past,and mLD plays a more critical role in the YFT catch *** the mLD deepens(>34.8 m),SST was more influential in predicting the catches of YFT than OHC in the western Indian Ocean,and OHC was more critical to YFT than SST in the eastern Indian ***,when the mLD shallows(m),mLD was more vital to predict the catch per unit effort(CPUE)of YFT than SST/OHC in the *** 2000,there was an asynchronous pattern of YFT CPUE induced by higher frequency variations and ocean hiatus of SST/OHC signals in the western and eastern Indian Oceans *** impact of the subsurface hiatus may induce the decrease of YFT in the eastern Indian *** above findings clarified a non-stationary relationship between the environmental factors and catches of YFT and provided new insights into variations in YFT abundance.
