Influence of preceding crop and tillage system on forage yield and quality of selected summer grass and legume forage crops under arid conditions

Among the crop production factors,preceding crop and tillage management affect the sustainable use of soil resources and ultimately crop growth and *** study aimed at investigating the impact of preceding winter crops(grass or legume)and different tillage systems on forage yield,quality and nutritive values of three summer grass(Sudan grass,pearl millet and teosinte)and two legume forage crops(cowpea and guar)under arid *** results exhibited that growing forage crops after legumes(as berseem clover)produced the highest fresh and dry forage yields and quality attributes compared with grasses(as wheat)with the exception of crude fiber content,which was ***,tillage practices showed positive impact on forage yields and quality *** maximum forage yields and quality parameters were recorded under conventional tillage(CT)practice compared with reduced tillage(RT)and no-tillage(NT)*** the evaluated crops,the highest yields of fresh forage,dry forage,crude fiber,crude protein and total digestible nutrient were exhibited by grass forage crops(Sudan grass,pearl millet and teosinte),whereas the highest crude protein content and the digestible energy values were produced by legume forage crops(cowpea and guar).The maximum fresh forage,dry forage,crude fiber,crude protein,total digestible nutrient and digestible crude protein yields were produced by pearl millet followed by Sudan grass under CT and RT after berseem *** highest net return was recorded by sowing pearl millet after berseem clover and applying CT followed by RT practices,which could be recommended for the commercial ***,it could be assumed that the combination of growing grass forage crops after legume crops under CT or RT systems could enhance forage crop yield and quality with an improvement in soil properties for sustainable agriculture with low cost and the highest net income.

The efficient maintenance of the activity of excised branches is the powerful guarantee to accurately determine gas exchange flux between the detached branches of tall trees and the atmosphere. In this study, the net photosynthetic rate(NPR) of the excised branches and branches in situ were measured simultaneously by using two photosynthetic instruments to characterize the activity of the excised branches of Phyllostachys nigra. The ratio of normalized NPR of excised branches to NPR in situ was used to assess the photosynthetic activity of detached branches. Based on photosynthetic activity, an optimal hydroponics protocol for maintaining activity of excised P. nigra branches was presented:1/8 times the concentration of Gamborg B5 vitamin mixture with p h = 6. Under the best cultivation protocol, photosynthetic activity of excised P. nigra branches could be maintained more than 90% within 6 hr in the light intensity range of 200–2000 μmol/(m2·sec) and temperature range of 13.4–28.7°C. The nitrogen dioxide(NO2) flux differences between in situ and in vitro branches and the atmosphere were compared using double dynamic *** on the maintenance method of excised branches, the NO2 exchange flux between the excised P. nigra branches and the atmosphere(from-1.01 to-2.72 nmol/(m2·sec) was basically consistent with between the branches in situ and the atmosphere(from-1.12 to-3.16 nmol/(m2 sec)) within 6 hr. Therefore, this study provided a feasible protocol for in vitro measurement of gas exchange between tall trees and the atmosphere for a period of time.

herein, the fabrication of cellulose acetate (CA) silica-based nanocomposite membranes via the dry-wetphase inversion procedure for water desalination was investigated. The modified and unmodified silicananoparticles (mSNPs and SNPs) were prepared by the sol-gel technique. The effect of the SNPs andmSNPs was investigated on the CA membrane's properties and their performance for water *** CA nanocomposite membranes were characterized to study their structure, hydrophilicity, andmorphology. The fabricated nanocomposite membranes showed hydrophilic surface properties. Theperformance of reverse osmosis (RO) membranes was measured using a crossflow RO unit at 10 bar(1 bar = 0.1 mPa). The membrane with 10 mg of SNPs enhanced permeate water flux compared to thepristine CA membrane by 1.6 L/(m2·h). The effect of mSNPs on the nanocomposites' performance waslower than their counterpart in the case of adding SNPs. The membrane with 30 mg of mSNPs showedthe highest permeate water flux among other nanocomposite membranes with a value oAQSf 35.7 L/(m2·h)at 24 bar.

【目的】分析使用遛马机监测不同强度遛马对伊犁马机体状态及900 m速度赛运动的影响,为确定伊犁马赛前最佳遛马程度提供理论依据。【方法】选取8匹2岁训练成熟的速度型伊犁马母马,采用遛马机监测,分别在2、3和4 m/s下遛马15、30、45和60 min,共12个遛马强度,每次遛马后进行900 m速度赛,对遛马即刻的血气指标及速度赛成绩进行差异性分析。【结果】12组遛马强度中,Ⅻ组遛马后900 m途程比赛成绩显著高于Ⅷ组、Ⅸ组(Phb浓度极显著高于Ⅲ组(Phct浓度显著高于Ⅲ组、Ⅳ组、Ⅴ组、Ⅶ组、Ⅻ组(Ph浓度显著高于Ⅰ组、Ⅸ组、Ⅹ组(Ph浓度显著高于Ⅸ组、Ⅹ组(Ph浓度显著高于Ⅸ组(Pm速度赛竞赛马匹在Ⅸ组(4 m/s 15 min)遛马程度下热身,血液中血糖浓度升高,机体携氧能力增强,有效提高后续竞赛水平。

This paper describes a detailed analysis of the dependence of Raman scattering intensity on the polarization of the incident and inelastically scattered light in PbSc_(0.5)Nb_(0.5)O_(3)(PSN)single crystals and epitaxially compressed thin films grown on(100)-oriented mgO *** is found that there are significant differences between the properties of the crystals and films,and that these differences can be attributed to the anticipated structural differences between these two forms of the same *** particular,the scattering characteristics of the oxygen octahedra breathing mode near 810 cm^(-1) indicate a ferroelectric state for the crystals and a relaxor state for the films,which is consistent with the dielectric behaviors of these materials.

Non-thermal plasma(NTP)is regarded as a potential application for environmental pollution control due to its ability to remove *** a major precursor of dioxins,the influence of the parameters of 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene(TCB)decomposition using NTP technology was investigated through a series of experiments,including voltage,frequency,water content,initial concentration,flow rate,and oxygen *** experimental results show that the energy injected into the NTP system has a positive correlation to voltage and *** has the greatest influence on TCB *** optimal reaction condition was at 15 kV,1000 hz,an initial concentration of 20 mg m^?3,a flow rate of 2 l min^?1,h2O at 4%,and O2 at 0%.Under this condition,the TCB removal efficiency could reach 92%.According to the generated product backstepping,the hydroxyl radical(·Oh)plays an important role in TCB decomposition due to its strong oxidation,which participates in the dechlorination and oxidation reactions as free radicals,and the possible decomposition pathway of TCB by NTP is inferred from the identified *** is of great significance to investigate the influence of the parameters of TCB decomposition using NTP technology in order to provide references for industrial application.
